This restaurant serves amazing Guangzhou style rice noodle rolls (肠粉), which focus more on the rice wrapper rather than the protein inside the roll. Appetizers are also worth trying. For example, the pork liver is fresh and delicious. The environment is a little bit too noisy.

New review from coming back the next day: I ordered the sampan porridge ($12) which was way more interesting. It's initially just a big bowl of meh white portide. You can throw in some green onions and crushed nuts or garlic (idk) which really level up the porridge flavors. The fun part is searching for the white fish, shrimp, squid, etc in the bowl. It's a big bowl with lots of hidden goodies that I wasn't able to finish on my own. It tasted great and it was a little fishing adventure.Original review:I had the beef brisket rice noodle roll for about $10. I never had a rice noodle roll before, it's like one big lump of noodle. The meat was great chewy and completely enveloped in a lot of sauce which was yummy. The dish came with a hot tea which was a nice touch. This is a preliminary four star review because I think this place is a side dish away from being a five star for me. I am definitely coming back to explore more of the menu.

A place for a casual quick meal, authenticity: 7 / 10. Friendly staffs, rice porridge is good, rice rolls are ok depending on your preference (not the thin silky kind), tried their deep fried doughs too very fresh and crunchy!

The menu is on the wall above the check counter on the side of entry. While you order and pay at the front, your seats are being set up.The fish in the fish rice roll tastes very interesting with a chewy texture. It’s a contract to the softness of rice sheet. We really enjoyed this dish. There are many different of rice rolls and porridges one can try. The speed of serving is very impressive, too.

Food was okay, but there was absolutely no service. Waiter didn't even say "goodbye" when customer left the restaurant. The waiter also answered a call while taking another customer's order and discussed shift changes with another waiter at work. Felt inappropriate.

I went to eat on December 28th. The food was all good and delicious. However, when I passed the glass window of the rice rolls when I went to the toilet, I saw the fat man who served rice rolls drinking beer and looking at his mobile phone. Forget about looking at the phone, the volume was turned up very loud, and when I saw the gentleman behind the rice rolls who was cooking porridge or something, he was even more exaggerated. He even sprayed snot or boogers on the ground directly in his work area. Still spitting? You continue to touch the ingredients without washing your hands. It's extremely disgusting. Does your store allow drinking on the job? Squirting and spitting everywhere? The quality of the staff is really worrisome, with poor hygiene and inappropriate drinking behavior at work. No matter how delicious the food is, it is all in vain.

The porridge is okay, but the rice rolls contain too much soy sauce and are salty...

I was super excited to find a churn fun place here in the Bay Area similar to what you would find in HK with almost an open face noodle with toppings smothered in a sweet soy sauce. Coming back from Vancouver, BC I really had the cravings! Imagine my luck finding MingKee Deli! To note, the parking lot is a nightmare to drive into and out, not to mention parking! Spots are tight and everybody double parks. It gets extremely busy during dinner rush and limited lighting in the area, so look out for drivers! It is an order first and then sit down establishment. Menu lists the different rice noodles ranging from 4-10 dollars. They don't offer dried shrimp as one of their options, but you can add it to any of your rice noodles or just add it to the plain rice noodle as a topping for an additional cost. They also serve porridge, sides/appetizers, and dessert. The food comes out super fast, but I was so disappointed. It came out luke warm, almost cold. I went around dinner time and was expecting a lot more and honestly the food to at least be hot. It is pretty terrible to eat a cold noodle and the filling inside was just below room temperature. I wasn't expecting it to be freshly made to order, but at least cheap it up properly. The porridge was expected - that at least was warm but no flavor at all. I got the chicken and mushroom, a plain noodle with dried shrimp, and the pork liver and kidney porridge. Overall it wasn't a great experience, but I will come back to give them another chance. This is a chain, with a location in Newark so maybe it'll be better there. Otherwise, I say opt for the other rice noodle chain in Milpitas/Dublin. On the positive, the food did come out really fast and they take credit card as payment.

cheap and decent cantonese breakfast spot. The rice rolls were thick and cooked well, but the seasoning seems inconsistent across different rice rolls (some has way too much soy sauce and not enough for some). We also got the beef shrimp pork liver porridge, which had a really strong liver taste. I'd also say there were way more liver than beef and shrimp in the porridge. Great portion for the price, though. Lastly, the turnip cake with XO sauce was probably my favorite. The turnip cakes were nicely fried and had a crispy skin, and the inside was mushy and tasty. The XO sauce complimented it really well.

Taste is great but temperature of the rice noodle rolls are only warm, I expect steamy hot at a restaurant. Service is no tip worthy as you order up front and pay before you sit which is very different from the Mingkee of San Bruno. Very select menu on the board which isn’t representative of the posted pictures in the front of the restaurant.Congee however is excellent and perfect hot temperature. At the time that we got there 6ish, there was only milk pudding available for dessert section which is highly recommended, but I thought there would be other options that I was so looking forward to (sesame or almond soup). Hope they have it next time as we will come back soon for more congee!

Great place for morning breakfast or brunch! Eating at small joints like these give me nostalgic memories of when I would go to the local Chinatown restaurants in the Bay with my family on Sunday mornings for breakfast. On to the service - very quick and attentive, you first order at the counter near the front door and pay before you are seated. Helps minimize the wait and more convenience so that you can just dine and leave when you are finished. The turnip cakes are yummy! Came out piping hot and was crispy yet soft to the bite, the chinese donut rice roll was also delicious and flavorful. The only downside was that it wasn't warm and lastly my boyfriend and I ordered the brisket rice roll which was also one of my favorites - the beef/tendon was tender and soft (reminds me of Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup). Highly recommend checking this place out when you're in the area craving freshly made rice noodle rolls.
