New review from coming back the next day: I ordered the sampan porridge ($12) which was way more interesting. It's initially just a big bowl of meh white portide. You can throw in some green onions and crushed nuts or garlic (idk) which really level up the porridge flavors. The fun part is searching for the white fish, shrimp, squid, etc in the bowl. It's a big bowl with lots of hidden goodies that I wasn't able to finish on my own. It tasted great and it was a little fishing...read full review
A place for a casual quick meal, authenticity: 7 / 10. Friendly staffs, rice porridge is good, rice rolls are ok depending on your preference (not the thin silky kind), tried their deep fried doughs too very fresh and crunchy!

This restaurant serves amazing Guangzhou style rice noodle rolls (肠粉), which focus more on the rice wrapper rather than the protein inside the roll. Appetizers are also worth trying. For example, the pork liver is fresh and delicious.The environment is a little bit too noisy.
