“Laing is delish, torta, beef afritada is good. Pansit bihon a little soggy. I’ll rate Via Mare 4 out 5 stars. Will definitely recommend your place and will comeback to try other dishes. Very polite staff I may add. Keep it up👍🤞”
“Just found out Serramonte Center has Yang Guo Fu in the food court 😂 Perfect spot for a hot bowl of malatang on a foggy Daly City lunch break. $14.99/lb with fresh veggies, meats, and three soup bases (beef bone, tomato, spicy dry). Loved the beef & lamb rolls, mushrooms, lotus root, and konjac for a lighter option. Their red oil wontons ($5.99) are freshly made and so tasty—can’t wait to try the dim sum they’re adding soon!”

“Today was my first visit, and I got films, cleaning, and a follow-up appointment to fix/expand two old fillings.
Everybody was very friendly and even sweet. I'm not afraid of going to the dentist, but (like any normal person) I'm not exactly a fan of the whole thing, either. Dr. Yeo and the staff made it as (metaphorically) painless as it could be.”
“My first time eating here and we ordered online their seafood tofu stew (haemul soon dooboo) and galbi. Galbi lunch portion is definitely only enough for 1, but highly recommended! I would say their tofu stew is decent (4/5).”

“I went to a Starbread at a different location a few years ago and fell in love with the señiorita bread. I was in San Francisco for a few days and found out there was a Starbread here as well. I wanted to go back and get the bread that I remembered being so good. Well, this place did not disappoint! The señiorita bread was actually better here, it was fresh and sweet and buttery! Because I was traveling back home, I only got 10 for $6 however next time I will be getting a bigger box to bring back home!”
“I've been to In N Out several times as a visitor their food is amazing each time way better than another burger restaurant with a red and yellow logo, the service is always good and acceptable for the amount of people in the store never have I waited more than 5 minutes for food and the prices are unbeatable especially for the west coast. I highly recommend the Daly City In N Out.”
“This is a Mediterranean foods and atmosphere. We liked the food and it delicious, however please play a Turkish music it will bring a great vibe. There was a weird playing music that you can't even understand or be comfortable with. Remember you don't need to play a jazz music because you have to please customers. People come here because they want something different...”

“It's a great restaurant that we were able to visit while on our journey. The lasagna was the best I have ever tasted 🤤 it was sooooo good and it doesn't need anything to accompany it. The pizza, that we got, was good, next time I would get different meats but this was definitely a spot to spin the block and go back to before I head out .”
“We asked for recommendations to our server, Junho. He was very professional. He asked what we wanted and shared his opinions and other customers' preferences so that we could make informed decision. The service was splendid. We enjoyed everything he recommended. All of the dishes had delicate taste profiles and they were not like any other Korean dishes that I can find in the bay area! Highly recommend the buckweat noodles!”
“Generous portions and high quality ingredients along with delicious dishes makes this place worth a return visit. The tom yum congee was an unusual but very good dish.”

“Drip and Melt - Cafe Deli is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh and flavorful options that cater to all tastes. Their coffee is top-notch—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends.
The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience from start to finish. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely meal, Drip and Melt never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere”
“In a never ending search for the best burritos in the Bay, I’m glad I found another solid option in Los Cuates. Super nice folks behind the counter, clean, organized restaurant, a solid salsa bar, and fantastic food.
The regular carne burrito was piping hot, and perfectly wrapped with a perfect balance of delicious meat, rice, beans, and salsa. Nothing groundbreaking, just solid Mexican food at reasonable prices served by nice folks. We need more places like Los Cuates.”
“Parking: free parking, but very busy over the weekend.
I have seen many locations across the bay area.
Food: Most of the foods are grilled or fried. All of them are tasty and fresh. Many fish choices, sauces, and sites to choose from. My favorite sauces are garlic butter and Cajun. The fish and chips are very good with tartar sauce. The grilled sea bass fish are very flavorful and would recommend having sauce on the side.
Price: very reasonable price for portions of food.”
“The super duper burger (I added cheese and bacon) was delicious. Juicy and fresh. The garlic parm fries weren’t that great IMO, but maybe the regular fries are better. But I’d still give them 5 stars because the burger was so tasty. Service was fast and friendly too.”
“Just ordered through the app from the parking lot. Order ready when I walked in the door. Cheerfully greeted. The espresso was perfect with a beautiful crema. Tried a new cookie. The chocolate chip with sea salt was surprisingly delicious. Everything I was looking for and more.”
“We absolutely loved our order from Nick the Greek! We tried the Chicken Gyro Pita and the Beef & Lamb Gyro Pita, and both were incredibly flavorful. The meat was perfectly seasoned and the pita bread deserves a special mention, it was fantastic, so soft and fresh.
Highly recommend this spot!”
“Mannnnnnn I just bit into the best burrito I have ever had!!! It has SOOO much flavor great size and not to mention the salsa is perfect. I have had salsa from many restaurants and some of them are good but there’s packed flavor and heat. This is a must try. I’ve been to both restaurants, but I will be driving all the way to Daly City for this restaurant. And the lady that took my order (JENNY) she was extremely helpful and nice.”
“came here for their $38 sashimi omakase. which was really good and fresh. great for the price for the selection we received & portions. sashimi came with a side of sushi rice. we also got the truffle ramen which I though was okay but my daughter loved it. Also got the snow white roll which I though was pretty good also.”

“A neighborhood gem serving the usual Chinese takeout fares as well as more authentic dishes. There is something for everyone to enjoy. I personally really like the dan dan noodles, fried rice as well as a number of the chicken and beef entrees. Very reasonable price and generous portions that are great for sharing.”
“I have finally gave this place a visit after driving past it many times. Upon arrival, I was lucky to get parking upfront, was greeted by their friendly staff and seated immediately. Their menu is simple and cocnsists of many different noodle soups to choose from. The interior is modern and looks like they have just been renovated. The wait for the food was not too bad, either way it does not bother me since I’m a very patient person. Lastly I would recommend this place for soup lovers or anyone looking to try something new. I would be back to try out other items they have to offer.”
“It is melt-in-your-mouth dessert, Uncle Tetsu’s cheesecake is a must-try. Light, fluffy and delicately sweet. It feels like a cloud of creamy goodness dissolving on your tongue. The texture is what truly sets it apart. It’s not dense like a traditional cheesecake, but rather airy and moist with just the right hint of cheese flavor.”
“Not bad for Daly City. The restaurant was mostly empty on a Monday evening. The menu has a big +$1 price adjustment on top. My Five Spice Chicken garlic noodles $16 tasted OK. The chicken was a bit dry. Luckily they have fish sauce on the side. The pickled vegetables were served on top of leave lettuce. The garlic noodles had a hint of butter and a mild garlic taste. The disappointing part was that some of the noodles would break apart due to them being flimsy. Service was fine as I received a water refill. I was left a bit hungry still and had to get some popcorn chicken and a Thai iced tea next door.”
“We were shopping at the skyline plaza and saw this restaurant inside the mall. But most importantly, they had both okonomiyaki and ramen. We ordered beef modan okonomiyaki and tonkatsu ramen. The okonomiyaki was good but a bit bland. It was loaded with bonita flakes, had a runny egg in the middle with a lot of noodles and the beef pancake. We did enjoy it but it just didn’t have the intensity of Okonomiyaki in Japan. Similarly, the ramen was adequate and the noodles were fresh and chewy. The broth was a bit bland and one dimensional. The service was excellent and attentive. If I could rate the food to one decimal point, it would be 3.8 with service a 5 and atmosphere a 3.0.”
“One of the most friendly places I’ve been too. Workers are happy to see you and make the order, better than most places where they just want the day to be over. Don’t judge my order xD”
“As a Korean who grew up eating jjajangmyeon every week, this place is most authentic if you are craving jjajangmyoen or jjampong. Jjajangmyeon was not overly sweet, did taste just like the ones in Korea .
We also tried sweet and sour chicken ( 양념 통닭) and it was so amazing !!
I highly highly recommend this place for authentic Korean foods and if you want to bring back the nostalgic memories ..”
24 Hour Restaurants
“I have been a many times, usually when I am craving for some Korean food or just want something easy. It is located at the right side when you enter the supermarket, most of the times there is not a wait. Their menu consists of appetizers, authentic Korean dishes, specialty wings, soups, beverages, etc. I have never encountered an issue here thanks to their welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs. Everything is pretty much made to order which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a Korean spot, if you want to try something new or if you want a laid back spot to dine at. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Ordered online for takeout. When I got there, they'd somehow missed my order so I had to wait quite a while for them to prep it - at least you know they make it fresh. Chicken was good and of the minimally battered style so you really taste the chicken skin. Fries were very nicely fried. Decent value for money. Overall 3.5 stars for this visit but rounding up to 4 to be nice.”
“This place is pure Guatemalan awesomeness! It's just as good if not better than the original. The pan francés And pan dulce are on point, and the breakfast is amazing. If you love Guatemalan and Central American style breakfast this is the place for you. I have to warn you though, parking and seating is tough on the weekends. So be ready to park a few blocks away, and hunt for a good table once you get there.”
“We had a great experience working with Yana at My Baking Creations! Yana was responsive, creative and an amazing cake artist/baker. From start to end of the process, Yana was communicative and helpful to bring our design idea into fruition. Delivery was seamless and on-time as well. The cake had beautiful fondant work and the chocolate cake tasted divine and decadent. Looking forward to going to Yana again for future birthday cakes!”
“I have been here many times mainly when I am craving for a doughnut or when I am in the area where I am in need of a quick bite. They have a wide selection of fresh doughnuts made daily, sandwiches, coffee, refrigerated drinks and much more. The staffs here are very welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never had encountered an issue during any of my visits. You can dine in at one of their tables or simply purchase for takeout if you decide to. I have to say this place is a plus, because there are little to none doughnut shops within the area. I highly recommend this place to all doughnut enthusiasts, if you need a quick snack for the morning of if you just so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.”
“I invited my sister for her birthday -- something light and savory, Pho and spring rolls (and a couple of Boba drinks). From the start, my how things have changed. I came here when they were starting out, and it was similar but not the same. There was a long line and a short wait -- service is fast, albeit a little frenetic and high volume ambient noise. But, I'm there to eat and that is what we did. Surprise! The spring rolls shrunk, still good, just not too plenty. But, overall, it is as good as I remember it when they opened many years ago! #TheBrokerWithAHeart”
“I celebrated my birthday today in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a outstanding evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for that successful gathering. The stuff cooperated in a splendid manner, the meals were yummy and my guests were extremely joyful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.”
“This place has been here for ages and I tried it for the first time not too long ago. The food was tasty - I've only tried their sushi rolls but everything I've tried has been solid so far. Service was efficient and parking is super easy (free garage nearby). It's a good spot if you're going to the movies or wanting a but after seeing one.”
“Went here for a light lunch and went with a salad from here. They had a nice selection of greens and toppings to add to to your salad. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. Quality and freshness guaranteed. ??”

“Hofbrau style large sandwiches cut fresh from the meat out of the oven are possibly as good as sandwiches get. I like the roast beef and turkey but they also have pastrami, rotisserie chicken, ham, pork ribs and salads. Services friendly, food is excellent. Definitely five stars.”
“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing”
“This is the only place that offers fish or shrimp burrito. They also have the normal meats burritos which is very good however my favorite is the fish burrito. I know? Fish burrito. They have the fish burrito or shrimp which is very unusual. They not only have the fish burrito, they give you a lot. It’s enough to cover the entire burrito and not over cooked at all. In terms of meat, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada(beef) burrito or pork Al pastor( bbq pork). He also tried the chicken and he said it was a little bit too dry for him the meat.”
“I passed by here many times and never knew if it was open because the curtains block the interior view. Today I finally have this place a shot on a hungry mindset. It’s like a hole in the wall that serve authentic Chinese dishes at great prices. Also the service was great and the food was very delicious. I definitely will be back to try out other dishes.
Vegetarian options: Non-meat options available
Parking: Parking throughout the area
Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors for easy wheelchair access”
“Found out this place has changed to a new Chinese restaurant and decided to give it a try. Authentic Cantonese dishes with great service.
Vegetarian options: Non-meat options available
Parking: Parking throughout the area
Wheelchair accessibility: Stand opened door for easy wheelchair access”
“They served my father's and my order very quick and got the order correct. They are very friendly employees. I would recommend coming here. The meal was delicious and hopefully I will return to enjoy their meals again.”
Cheap Eats
“Consistently delicious. Its always nice eating Jollibee fresh vs. to-go. I tried the kbbq sandwich again since I've never had it made to order and it was tasty. Crispy and saucy and the cucumber relish they add is a nice touch to battle the sweetness of the sauce.
Chicken is always juicy and malabo is so much better right away so it doesnt coagulate in transit when ordering through food delivery app.
The service is the best if any fast food place. The staff is quick, friendly and you can see they work as a team almost like a family unit. Prices are inexpensive so it makes this place one of the best if not the best fast food place to visit and enjoy.”
“One of our weekly go to locations to get pastries after groceries shopping at Ranch 99. We normally get baked Pork Buns, Cream coconut bun, cocktail bun or egg tarts. We have also bought cakes here. Love the tiramisu, mocha cake and their fruit tart cake. Unlike other cakes, their cakes are not sweet and doesn’t have too much whipped cream. Love it.”
“This pumpkin bread is really cute which caught my attention. But it was dry. There was pumpkin filling inside and u have to make sure u eat the bread with the filling in order for it to be good. Other than that, this place has some great pastries! The potato croquet, choco bun, and cheese bread are my favorites 😋”
“Average price for 5$-7$ each. Freshly made and soft boba. We tried the Thai Tea and Strawberry fruit tea. No complaints on either on them and would go again.
Plenty of parking and fast service. Each of the 5 workers were doing a task with the constant orders during my visit, it was nonstop customers.”
“Good spot, and glad it's open late. The mayo for the popcorn chicken sits on the counter for an unguessably long time... and the floors back by the bathroom could use two power-washings, but I haven't gotten sick yet and it's a cozy spot open late... so that works for me.”
“I'm fortunate to live in a region of the Bay Area where there are a lot of Filipino restaurants and each of them do so much to sustain the cultural significance of the Philippine population of the area.
For years in having this restaurant as part of my rotation of Filipino cuisine, one of their superpowers is their consistency for delivering good tasting food. Time and time again, I find their offerings to be as good or better than their competitors.
Their service is great and you can count on being warmly greeted by the staff. I also feel that their portions are more generous than their counterparts. So if it's good food you're after, I highly recommend them.
And as is typical of a lot of Filipino joints, decor, atmosphere and aesthetics aren't their thing. As you'll see in the accompanying pictures, this place is about as basic, utilitarian and modest as a place can be, as stripped down as an apartment of newlyweds. But then again, you don't come here for the furniture and art on the walls did you? If you did, you'd be richly disappointed.”
“We came here to celebrate mother’s days. Their food is very good. Service is a hit or miss. Their portions are getting a little bit smaller but the food is still very good. We usually order: shrimp with walnut, Crispy fried Chicken with Shrimp Chips, peasprouts & garlic, sweet and sour fish, broccoli mushroom and beef (yummy), and a claypot with eggplant. I would definitely come back .”
“What a fabulous time! Very well done!! Fresh seafood, meats, congee, dessert!!”
“Came here on Saturday for late lunch and there was no wait. The hot pot dishes were delicious and the owner was very friendly. AYCE is a plus, which is $36.99 for weekends and holidays, $32.99 for weekdays dinners and even cheaper for weekday lunches.
We liked the original spicy soup base and the skewers.”

“Perfect for dining solo or with 1 friend. I've had their omakase before and it is very rich, good for a special occasion. This time, I had their walu nigiri, walu sashimi, and a Ferrari roll. I'd get it again!”
