Shoutout to thee Claire! Thank you for telling me about this place! The food options remind me of home by way of my mother, Labangon in Cebu City to be exact. Claire's mom helped us with our order and it was warming to (kinda) speak in bisaya to her as she spoke to me (I'm still mastering it). Literally though the place feels like home if you dine-in. My friend and I both got rice plates with our sinigang & munggos in separate dish bowls. It was comforting as heck. They got the suman (bodbod we call it) in cassava and antala (rice-based), and I just realized antala is what my family eats/gets wherever we can so I'm finally glad I know the name of it now lol. Come support a long-time running family business and enjoy a good meal! Check out local apparel maker 13 Gallons right next door also!

A very nicely appointed all glass and mirrored elegant facade. Friendly counter people. A parade of lovely looking French pastries, specialties, breads and viennoisserie. The ambient demographic who populate the entirety of a generous seating area is female, Caucasian and 60-70. They are clearly enjoying themselves. And why not? It's a wonderfully appointed location. "This is my favorite bakery!" can be heard above the modulated conversation buzz. So what about the product. We generally stick with tried and true croissant, chocolate, and levain bread. Verdict: bread was great - we got an olive batard:,nice heft, good crust, smell and taste - nothing disappointed. The laminated dough? Croissant and offshoots - that was a different story: they all looked gorgeous: beautifully browned and flaky, to the eye. When heated gently in the oven, they revealed a huge mis-cue. Butter leaked from the dough giving it a greasy appearance. The dough inside was heavy, more breast than laminated croissant should ever be. If I were to hazard a guess I'd say that a baker missed a couple of turns in the folding process. The recipe was right. But the failure in technique made for an inedible product. Not a good look.

I walked in at 2:00pm to ask if they sold Shanghai Lumpia’s. One lady said yes and the other said no we’re closed. They have an open sign on their door and when you look them up it says they close at 6:00pm. I will never go back here again

Beware if you're placing an order, they will promise you your order will be ready then the day of pick up say "oh we can't do it." Flakey service, unprofessional. I'm so frustrated. The order I placed was for funeral reception and we were all looking forward to it. Boooo Claire's!!

Food is great. However, every time we order Kutchinta. They never gave us Coconut Flakes (Niyog) As if we have to request or begged for them even though we ordered ahead of time. And this is not the first time. What is the use of kutchinta without the Coconut Flakes or toppings? Not satisfied customer. Unhappy

I surely missed eating Filipino food cafeteria style. The ladies here are sweet and the food makes you feel like you're at home. Is it greasy? Yes. Is it salty? Yes. But to be honest it's Filipino food so really salt and grease is a standard. I personally loved the munggo and dinuguan. I also had bangus. I wish I came in time for their bibingka! Definitely a must try for next time
