Ideally, I would give it 3.5 on 5 stars, since that isn't an option, I am giving it 4.Parking can be a challenge, and my experience is with takeout.Service staff was pleasant and welcoming, food prep time on the quick to very efficient, and food was well presented for takeout.However, in a city of so many banh-mi's, this ones middle of the pack, average. Came to Mama Tran's on a whim as it was a cold evening and we were in the mood for some hot pho. We were able to easily find parking on Mission and there were plenty of seats available when we came in. The restaurant has a nice layout with a big open bar area right in the center which I thought was a cool concept. Ordered the shrimp imperial roll, beef brisket pho and bun bo hue. Everything was delicious. I particularly enjoy how clean and fresh the food was. My 4 year old even complimented the chef :DService was great. Atmosphere is relaxing. There are 5 TVs so I’m sure you won’t miss the news, sporting event, etc
