I've always known Bread Basket pandesal was good because I've bought them from grocery stores before. But today, my husband and I decided to stop by their store to get some freshly baked pandesal and it was even better! It was soft and fluffy just like how I want it. I don't remember ever getting excited about eating pandesal except for today. We also got Macapuno Ube Ensaymada, Ube Pandesal and Ube Loaf. I love everything ube that's why. =) Honestly, their baked goods reminded me of the times when I was growing up in the Philippines. It was that good! Since I don't live too far from them, I think I'll be visiting their store from now on to get fresh pandesal and goodies instead of getting pandesal from the groceries. I'm also looking forward to try their other baked goods coz I'm sure they'll taste great too.

The bread basket was a great place to go to in Daly city because it is in the main street. The pandesal was still warm. There are other classic Filipino baked goods, but I was only there for the pandesal. The lady at the front was pretty friendly, but I don't think that she spoke English very well so conversation was limited.

The pan de coco is some of the best I've ever had! My (Filipino) parents, who are on gluten free diet, really appreciate the rice flour bibingka and claim this is the best bibingka they've had. Thank you Bread Basket for serving the Daly City community all these years!

I’ve been coming here for years and I love the croissants and cheese roll, however the banana bread caused a minus 2 stars. The banana breads were moist and baked perfectly before, but these days they are mostly overbaked, dry and sometimes the bottom is obviously burnt.

This morning, I had sudden hankering for a delicious butter croissant, and since I was in the South City/Colma area, I looked to Yelp for a nearby bakery, which led me to here. Bread Basket is a local, Filipino bread shop that sells bread loaves and other baked goods. Bought their butter croissant and ube croissant (ordered an almond too, but that fell out of the bag and on the floor); I can do without the ube as the filling made the croissant feel dense. The butter croissant, though, was flaky, airy, and not doughy/dense. If I bought it first thing out of the oven, I believe it could be a melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness.

I enjoy a good silvanas but Bread Basket Bakery missed the mark on this. Their silvanas are soggy, no sweetness and lacks the silvanas cruch n buttery taste. I did like their ube bread but 1 is enough for my sweet tooth.

Absolutely fantastic baked goods. The cheese roll is the best pastry I’ve ever had. The empanadas and almond croissant are great, there are also 3$ bags of what me and my best friend call magic sugar toast. This unassuming bakery is the new favorite

Omg so good!!! My girlfriend got me a bag of fresh pandesal and ube senorita bread. She doesn't typically like bread but she loves their pandesal! They are fresh and fluffy! Best pandesal I have ever had! I probably can finish a whole dozen by myself. They only accept cash so make sure you have some before you drop by. Their ube senorita bread was yummy too! I definitely want to try all their baked goods! They do run out of fresh pandesal in the morning pretty quickly so come as soon as you can! They also sell their pandesal at the Lucky supermarket in Daly City too!
