Really can't give a star rating cause I haven't ever been, I always read reviews before I go to new places and I was looking for some good pizza, but I read a BAN ON WARRIOR GAMES??!! Really, why??? I can't support, I'm sorry.

Just met the owner in his Bentley convertible. So RUDE as I attempted to strike up a conversation. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the pizza. Great quality. HOWEVER the ridiculous leap in price since COVID is inexcusable in my opinion. And this is a man who doesn’t care, I will no longer be a patron.

I feel like someone just took $55 out of my pocket. I enjoy having pizza for lunch and bring the rest home for later, I ordered a large pizza. Chicken Parm was fine except for some kind of crunchy lumps that were really icky, no idea what they were supposed to be. I wasn't greeted by Brandon, just asked what I wanted. Settled comfortably into a corner table and pretty soon a guy in a mask brought out my pizza and set it down without a word. As he turned, I asked for a setup, it was obvious that there were no utensils or napkins on the table, but he didn't even notice. He returned with those, again without a word. Nobody ever came by to see if I needed anything. I finally walked up to get my own box to take the pizza home ... maybe I can get rid of those lumpy things. And here I thought I was safe in an upscale area like Blackhawk. Don't waste your time or your money.

I was in Ascona Pizza in Blackhawk last night and asked for them to put the Warrior game on TV. Apparently, the owner has banned the Warriors games from being played. I really like the food and the staff is friendly, but I wont be going there again. Just wanted to let everyone at Dub Nation that this restaurant is not a supporter. Disappointing to say the least given the amount of money we have spent there over the years gathering to watch our home town team. Especially now that the team is healthy and playing well.

Dropped my daughter at soccer and stopped into Ascona because the bartenders are so nice and the pizza is delicious. I was informed that WARRIORS games were banned. I won't be back.

The bartender/server ( thin male spoke some Spanish to another customer) was super rude to another customer sitting next to us. It got so bad we walked out. Our pizza was not hot, waiter waited a long time before he brought it over.. not very hygienic. Place needs an inspection, especially this server. Be careful going to this place. It’s food poison bomb waiting to happen.

Approximately $40 + Tip for a single topping pizza, been a customer since they opened but sorry but not doing again.

We have only lived in Danville for 3 years, so there are still may restaurants we have not tried - but we love Ascona and go there several times each month. They have a great lunch special during the week that includes a two large slices of pizza and a drink - and we usually add a cesar salad. The pizza is always tasty with a crunchy crust and generous toppings, and their cesar salad is fresh and delicious. We often add 6 ribs to go and have the ribs later for dinner. The last time we were there, the service was slow and we can only figure it was because the person taking our order was new. Usually, service is great. We have never hung out in the bar, so I can't speak to it, but I would recommend the pizza, salad, and ribs any day.

Cheap Ingredients, low quality, Over priced, Rip off, terrible customer service. Not much else to say but the fact this restaurant has plagued Danville for far too long and their pizza is a disgrace to real authentic Italian Pizza.

Pizza didn’t disappoint, very fresh comparing to other pizza places. It’s pricey but worth it!

Their signature pizza, "The Mediterranean" is my favorite and is really good. Service is a bit slow but the pizza and the ambiance make up for it.

I've been going here for at least 5 years and have come to love it. Great appetizers, good drinks, and awesome pizza. Good old pizzeria with good ranch and amazing pinky wings. If you've never had them, you should give them a go, if you eat pork. Also, a great spot to watch sports, if that's your thing.

Came in around 3:30 was planning on sushi but it wasn't open yet. Saw the sign that we thought read Amici, our mistake. If we would have only came in on yelp ratings we probably would not have come in. Here we are, the menu has a lot to offer other then pizza, sandwiches, salads fries, wings, panini's and a bar. The bar area is pretty good size, a good place to sit and eat have pizza at the bar and watch sports. From the pictures and other sports mementos place looks like it supports local youth sports. Pizza delivered and it was good. The crust was crunchy and it wasn't a real thick it was just right. I would definitely come back. Saw a few kids what looks like they stopped in for an after school meal and looks like the bar has a few regulars stopping in for a cold beer by the time we left. Give it a try.
