This spot is a staple to the UC Davis community. Small bakery section and quite a selection of drinks. Open M-F only though from 8am to 2pm. Located (and you guessed it) next to King Hall. There are some outdoor seatings and umbrellas available, conducive to informal meetings and catch ups. There are also hot food for sale. It can get busy but they work fast.

I was on my way to the Shields Library and from where I parked I walked right by King Hall Coffee, so decided to stop by and order something. This coffee shop is right next to King Hall which is where the UC Davis School of Law is located. My brother is a lawyer, so I thought of him as I was in the area.King Hall Coffee serves Peet's Coffee, but they do not carry some items such as the Everything Plant Based Breakfast Sandwich that you can find at the corporate Peet's locations. They did have the seasonal drink menu though and I ordered a Pumpkin Cold Brew Oat Latte (vegan). I was asked if I was a student when I placed my order and from that I assume that students might get a discount. The person in line in front of me said she was a student when asked and was not asked to show her student ID.While the coffee is served to-go there is outdoor seating in the area with people talking to others or studying. Overall, the vibe was good and I definitely would come back. I would raise my rating to 5 stars if they started carrying some savory vegan breakfast items besides the one vegan muffin on the menu.

Great atmosphere; lots of rooms on the second floor and in the basement where law students can study quietly (not loudly please!). The downstairs is a real hidden gem with a computer lab, lockers, and a kitchenette. There is food leftover from lunch events in the kitchenette sometimes.Great faculty. They really enjoy teaching.
