Amazing. Epitome of bang for your buck when you can get a full meal and dessert for $10. Raja is very friendly and efficient. Waiting til they re-open!!

They have great food. I loved going there. The people were friendly. I already knew them from my school.

Raja's is such a staple in Davis and for a reason. They have the best options for so many different lifestyles. The owners are so kind and compassionate and go above and beyond. Their food is also so delicious. If you have a craving for indian food - this is it!

The portions here are amazing, you can definitely make two meals out of the order. I love all the kinds of curry they make here and the employees are nice too!

A Davis staple, and one I'm glad to see has survived the pandemic and is still churning out awesome food, albeit with a revised business model. Raja's used to be the go-to Indian buffet in Davis, but has undergone some changes in the midst of COVID. Rather than dining in and getting all you can eat, Raja's now offers very generous portions to go for an affordable price - enough for a few meals! The food is all placed out behind sneeze guards so you can see what you want before you order. Once you know what you want, you can choose from a collection of entrees and sides, and even mix and match, to fill up your to-go container. I'm not sure if they're still doing indoor dining, but they still have some patio furniture outdoors to sit and wait for your order, or to eat outdoors once it's ready. The wait time is not long at all, but still convenient! I took my meal to go but would definitely consider dining outdoors in warmer weather. While I would not consider Raja's the BEST Indian food, it's really hard to beat the value and price, and I'm glad to see that while the business model has changed, the establishment itself has not. The owner was still there, greeting people as they came in, which was great to see. He wasn't able to shake the hands of all his customers this time around, but I'm glad that he's still active and visiting the restaurant. Raja's makes me feel quite nostalgic towards my college days. While so many businesses change in Davis, I hope this is one that lasts for many more years to come.

So delicious! I love Tikka Masala and there's is definitely one of the best I've had. My boyfriend and I stopped here after skating and it made the perfect meal after being super active. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area! Thank you for the delicious food and amazing service. :)

Chicken tikka masala n rice $7 doesn't taste like Indian food too mild flavor

You get a lot of food (especially meat) for the price, and it’s very good quality. Great for lunch/dinner to keep you full for hours

Indians beware! If you are Indian/looking for actual Indian food, don’t go here! This is definitely the worst tasting Indian restaurant I have been to. I’ve never had such bad sauces (chutneys) for samosa. If you looking for cheap and convenient food, I would recommend, but for me the food was horrible. On the other hand this restaurant has the nicest customer service ever which is why I am giving it a 2 and not a 1!

The build your own box is a really good deal and they fill up your box so much for $11. However, the food is alright. For Indian food, I'd expect a lot much flavor and spices but it was actually kind of bland! This is a good place if you're really hungry and need something to fill you up quick, but the food isn't too special.

Crazy good food. The price is fantastic as well. Great variety in the dishes as well. I would definitely go here again.

Good food but they don't offer plates to dine in. You'll have to eat out of the plastic container.

It's pretty decent for Indian food in college town. We tried the Naan Burrito and I liked the vegan tikka masala and the naan and rice, but unfortunately I could barely taste the chick pea and the lentils in it. I am not sure if lentils are a good idea in a burrito since it won't hold up for long. Lucky for us, we ate it pretty quickly and weren't planning on storing it. We also got a box of the vegetarian vegetables with naan and rice. It was the same curries in a box. Overall a decent meal and if you are craving Indian food this place has potential.

Great quality at an even better price! They have been supporting Davis students for years with cheap, healthy meals and they deserve your business without a doubt.
