“I had to leave a review for the absolutely fantastic ube gelato. I am a great fan of ube but it's really been overdone in America, and I find it all just tastes very artificial. I was so pleasantly surprised by this gelato, and it's probably the best I've had (and, unfortunately, I am no stranger to the dessert). Pretty decent value here and a huge selection of snacks and beverages.“

“I'm a local but I still go there at least twice a week. Clean, great service and above all very nice family that owns the place. Prices are reasonable compared to the area and other places. The shawarma meat is Halal. Can't wait for their new place a few blocks down the street on Lighthouse where they will serve more Mid eastern types of food. There will be a seating area besides parking too.“

“My wife introduced me to this cool little deli/sandwich shop. We head there after my eye exams and sit in the outside patio among the oak trees and enjoy our sandwiches. She loves the roast beef and I dig the BBQ chicken on a SD roll. Don't complain about prices.. if you can't afford it stay “

“Yes yes yes this place is the spot! Owned by the same family forever, I love that it's literally a local sandwich shop. Usually I get their turkey sandwich but I switched it up and got a meatball sub...let me tell you..SO good! Their macaroni salad is a must buy when you go in. I love the fact they sell Icecream and cookies too! My daughter loves their cinnamon buns.“

“Wife and I were out walking after lunch and dcided to stop in and pick up a couple sandwiches for later. Sandwiches are made to order so you probably have to wait a few minutes, we waited 10 minutes but it was worth it. Big sandwiches, lots of meat and veggies, good bread. Service was reasonably fast, there was one guy making them so he was doing ok. People need to chill out with the bad reviews because of wait times.We will be going back there on our next trip to Monterey. Good stuff!“
