“Until I got a Reese's latte here, I thought I'd lost my taste for frivolous flavored lattes. It was amazing. It defines the popular food-industry term "craveable." I now want to work my way down the frivolous latte menu. There is a good-sized selection of pastries made in-house. My Nutella fan was delicious! This is a cozy cafe with regulars -- if you're coming in, it's designed as an experience for lingering, not as a rush-and-get-your-drink-bye. The cafe is tucked in a weird triangle of land across Canal from the big shopping center, facing away from all major streets, so if your GPS loses its mind, persist! It's worth it.“
“The second-best donut in Modesto is hidden at this hole-in-the-wall shop. The cake donut is just a teeny bit crisp on the outside (so, different in style from Mr. T's) and fluffy on the inside. Selection is varied but not huge -- the strength seems to be in cake and old-fashioned donuts. On my visit, there were also apple fritters and three varieties of filled donuts. I did not see crullers or chocolate cake donuts.Don't be put off by the neighborhood (it's just light industrial, nobody's going to bite you) or the building (California rural architecture is like this -- the cheerful mural is a sign that someone is serious about this business).“
“likely the only thing worth 5 stars on our bleak trip to the central valley. i wasn't thinking when i decided we needed a blt, full size pepperoni pizza, a latte, AND a steak salad between the 2 of us, but needless to say all the food were amazing. quality ingredients and enough to feed a village. that said i was a little sticker shocked at a total of $71 but the portions were great. restaurant was clean, staff were pleasant. definitely would be back!“
“First time here!We wanted coffee and breakfast. This shop is too cute I love it and my favorite is the garden bagel! I got the jalapeno cheddar bagel, My husband got the everything bagel breakfast bagel. My only concern is that it didn't taste like a jalapeno cheddar, it was just sprinkled in the middle of the bagel. Regardless of this point, it is very delicious.The workers in the back are appreciated in my eyes but low key they didn't look inviting haha but our cashier was hecka adorable super sweet. “I just have to share about the AMAZING customer service I received by Gustin, the owner. He took a special trip to the shop to sell me his last certificate on a day he was supposed to be closed. He didn't make me feel rushed and made the interaction feel very personable. It was my first time calling and coming in!! After enjoying breakfast at this fine restaurant, you're sure to be a believer in the amazing cuisine enjoyed at Huckleberry's... located in Turlock, CA.I didn't have the pleasure of joining my friend Dan for breakfast, so I'm simply posting photos he sent me and writing his experiences. “This is my favorite go to spot for coffee. You can text them your order and it will be ready when you arrive. They have a punch card so you get one free when you fill it up. Their coffee is so good. Everything I have gotten here is amazing. They have lots of sugar free options. My favorite is their iced French Kiss that comes out for Valentine's Day. They make it all year long for me and I love it! They are all so friendly. Prices are normal for those kinds of drinks. You will not regret trying them out!“
