Lots of cooked and not so challenging options. My overall opinion of the food is that is passable and doesn’t disappoint but it’s not quite five star. Sure, you can find AYCE spots in town but the quality of the fish is sub par so you need to weigh out if you're looking for quantity or are you looking for quality? The miso soup isn't anything to write home about. Same goes for the side salad. But the sashimi is generously and expertly cut and it's why I come here. Service can be hit and miss. I love the quirkiness of the staff but it can sometimes be a while until you're noticed when you come in. To avoid this situation, it's best to sit up at the bar if you're willing. The ambience here is overall intentionally understated. The owner rather focus on quality food than instagramable decor. Seats are comfortable, functional, and things are kept clean.
