“Our evening at Kenzo was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant was wonderfully simple and pleasantly quiet. Every bite of every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and delicious. The premium wine and sake pairing was completely worth it - so many fun and luscious selections.Without question, the best part of the meal was that we had the privilege of being served by Tomonori, who we later learned is the General Manager. He was a joy. He explained each course in perfect detail and answered every question we could think of. He made us excited to try each new dish - which of course greatly enhanced each individual taste and the overall experience.Highly recommended. Will definitely return!“
“Had a really good time here. Outside patio is great for dining on a warm day. The pillows on the chairs were a bit dirty though. Service was ok. A little slow and disorganized but not horrible.The food was really really good! Rolls are large and everything was so fresh. The calamari was by far the best dish! The sweet/spicy sauce was amazing. The sesame on the roll was sooooo good too. Lychee martini was on point and strong!Reasonably priced. I'd def come back!“
“Hal Yamashita was a beautiful, serene place to take our friends out to dinner for my husband's birthday. It wasn't too loud that we couldn't talk. The food was terrific. We ordered an assortment of items to check out the quality of the food. Our friend who travels to Japan regularly indicated that the food was as good as he gets when in Japan.“
“Wife and I went there to spend Valentines day for a dinner. It's one of your typical restaurants in Napa. We enjoyed the food and Bridget our waitress was very good and attentive. And all the staff was very friendly. Little bit noisy but I guess you have to expect that. All in all it was a good time and I would like to go back one day“
“I've loved going to Morimoto's for years here in Napa, and this time I have to say I was very disappointed with the new Calimari Salad. I didn't like that the lettuce leaves were left whole. Seems like it shouldn't cost much to chop up a few leaves.It was such a lovely salad before. Sad to see it changed.Also, seemed overall more salty than the last visit.Vegetarian options: They say that most dishes can be adapted.“
