“We visited from Vacaville looking for a tasty Thai restaurant with a late lunch special. After seeing the 4.8 rating and lunch special ending at 3pm we decided to give Vanda Orchid Thai Bistro a shot and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing. The owner/server was so friendly and accommodating. The ambience is chill and casual. I checked in on Yelp and redeemed the free Thai Iced Tea and it was perfectly brewed with the right amount of half and half. We had been craving Tom Kha soup and ordered the bowl size with chicken. If you are a fan of this coconut milk soup you will be pleased. It is flavorful and enough to feed a party of 4 as an appetizer. We're glad we got to take the extra home for later. We ordered the green curry with pork lunch special and beef pad thai. Both dishes rival the top Thai Restaurants in the area. You can taste the quality ingredients and the portion sizes are more than fair for their prices. Even the salad dressing was delicious. We will certainly be returning to support this superb establishment and recommend others to do the same!“

“Brilliant. Immersive. Welcoming friendly place where everything just flows. No hustle or bustle but everything on point. Get a beer and get cozy on a sofa or straw bale and relax. The chickens are happy and healthy and big fat white geese look like story book characters. The central water feature is old fashioned in its simplicity and interaction with nature and full of wonders for the kids. This place is magic.“

Friendly attentive staff ,and my pastrami sandwich was so delicious and they have some magical secret spice combo they use on their fries that just rocks ! All you Liberals complaining about no mask stay at home and make your own food if you're so critical of people wearing mask, I'm sorry all of you bought the government lie. “The best sushi in the area. The only sushi place I ever go to, nothing compares. The staff is incredibly friendly and so sweet to my kids. Vast menu options and also incredibly creative, you will not find any place with similar roles or menu options. The ambiance is nice and quaint, never too busy, but when it is busy it's still a great time. I cannot write enough good things. I always choose this place first when I want sushi, nothing else is as good!“

“Drove by seeing they had thai food AND sushi, definitely had to come in and try, and satisfied fully and delisiously. Inside is cute with the decorations that look Asian style and was a calm atmosphere. Ordered the Tom yum hot sour soup: very savory and good mix of ingredients, great taste, perfect when we asked for Chilli tray as well. Wife got the bento box with sushi, salmon sashimi: salad was sweet and fresh, miso soup was industry standard, and sashimi tasted delicious and very soft and tasty melted in mouth and love the bed of extra vegetable of cabbage and carrots underneath. Pad Thai was so good, perfect profile taste for pad Thai, very flavorful. Thai coffee was really good, strong, milky, mixed very well. All of the food was 63.18 plus tip, very reasonable, and the fact we were able to get the sushi and Thai food, Japanese Thai combination nakes it all the more awesome. “An interesting location!An old farm has become a rustic meeting point for a beer garden with live music and plenty of space for many guests. Drinks/beer and food were all there.A great meeting place not far from Davis. Definitely worth a visit.“

They did have the herb sauces which helped with the pakora dryness. Service was fast and pleasant! Next to a fruit stand off the freeway so may look a bit sketchy on the outside but felt safe inside! Restaurant has a bar and looks like could be interesting at night!“

“And as soon as I'm finished with business I'm going to Denny's!It was three ewes and a ram that made me come to Dixon, all four of these took ribbons at the state fair in Sacramento, including best of breed and best of show. I had just put my claim on the first right of refusal on the spring lambs that were just around the corner, beating out Old Lady Clambanger by a sizable margin, and Man-O-Man was she mad! She had hopes of using the lambs as breeding stock, and when I told her I was going to cook them on a huge spit at the Greek Festival in Stockton this spring she lost a load and had to be hosed off.I'll tell you Denny's sure puts out some great food, I had the Turkey dinner with all the sides you'd expect from a Thanksgiving dinner at Grandma's house...It was Spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆“

(My grandson and I) I had the taco special - 3 pork tacos with beans and rice and included a soda. 13.99 and the tacos ? AND the beans and rice were delicious. My grandson got his favorite - a bean and cheese burrito ?This restaurant was my daughter’s favorite- she passed away almost 9 years ago now. So we are long time customers and will continue!“
