My toddler and I arrived at closing time recently and rather than just turn us away empty handed, they offered us something to take free of charge just because he saw my son was asking for food and didn't want to send him away hungry. While it’s lovely having the restaurant all to ourselves at munch time, I can’t help thinking that so many people are missing out. Better babaganoush you probably won’t savor anywhere served with fluffy, fresh, pillowy pita bread. We enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka version. The servers are so friendly and the atmosphere in the room is relaxing with lovely music in the background. We need to support these family businesses in the communities where/near we live. “We went there just for hummus today and we're so glad we did! It was the best hummus we've had since our honeymoon in the Middle East 40 years ago. It's very smooth and creamy with just the right amount of lemon. The owner showed us photos of his grandfather who created the recipe. We will definitely go back.“

“Rumi is as good as it gets around here. Coffees are great and the food is great. My family lives coming here too. I brought my cousins here and they loved it as well. My kids love the smoothies. Smaller place, but all of the patrons are deep in their converatiin and enjoying their time at Cafe Rumi. I hope to come here for years to come.“
“Got the Falafel burger and dolmades. The mushroom shawarma sounded interesting I will have to try next time. Dolmades were just what I wanted, perfect for the warm weather. I also enjoyed the waffle cut sweet potato fries. The pita chips were also tasty, and a lot seemed to be made fresh. Staff was pretty friendly especially the owner or manager on shift. Seems like a good food option in the area especially if you’re going to be charging your car.“

“10's across the board! Everything was so delicious and there was not a long wait despite how busy it was. When you arrive they have a menu that you can choose from with tons of selections. There's even options for the vegetarians and pescatarians! Once you place your order you take your number and pick a seat. The decor and vibe is honestly the reason I came here. We loved the ambient lighting with the cute umbrellas and there's even a cute wall off to the side to snap acute selfie! The food did not disappoint. The meat was very well seasoned and the sauce that came with our meal added another touch of flavor to our rice and salad. Our pita wraps did come out a little later than our food but honestly we were so busy with our food that we didn't notice. The serving is more than enough as I was struggling to finish my plate and this is without eating the feta fries my husband ordered. Actually I'm lying I tried 1 or 2 and had to restrain myself because I knew i would get way too full before my meal arrived. They have a water station in the back so don't be like us and wait around thinking someone is gonna bring water lol. You can also pick up some sweet treats while you are there or on your way out to enjoy later at home.“

Natasha is an amazing waitress who should do a training seminar around the country on how to treat guest, knowing the place that you work for and the food they serve because she was absolutely amazing with suggestions and service. Even the chef came out to great us and apologize for the wait to get our food. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY. “We would always pass this place but never actually went in until now. It was surprisingly very very good food and the length of the kabob wrap is very good. Two people can eat from one but if you're really hungry you can probably eat the one whole wrap. Food is delicious and the fries were really good too. I would definitely go again. The many options for fresh ingredients to add to your wrap or bowl is one of the many things I love about Saaj. The green sauce is a must! Not to mention, each meal comes with a warm lentil soup, which is great way to start any meal. The lady that works here provides genuinely, friendly service and is informative if you have any questions. My only wish is that they had a location closer to where I reside in Fairfield!“

“I kid you not, the lamb gyro here just might be the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life, and I am not a young person. I don't know how they manage to make the gyro so flavorful, but it's absolutely ridiculous, in a really good way though. I could eat here every day. The 5 stars they maintain here on Yelp is highly deserved.“
