“Great tasting food cooked fresh with quality ingredients.Restaurant is in a nondescript strip mall with a few other restaurants and an Indian grocery store, so kinda hard to find it unless you know in advance.They give you a bowl of salad and some fresh delicious Afghan bread (served with cilantro sauce and tzatziki sauce)While the food is tasty and fresh, the prices are a bit high compared to the prices. For example, the combination platter with a large Chapli kabab and 4 pieces of chicken kabab with a little bit of rice was $28.The daily special was the Kofta Chalk which was 3 beef meatballs in a sauce with some rice was quite delicious and $18.The 2 pieces of baklava were delicious and warm and was $8.$103 for 3 dishes and baklava seemed a bit on the high side.Friendly people though the young lady serving us was a bit difficult to communicate with as she didn’t seem to comprehend English completely.Worth a return visit.“
“This was the first time I tried the chicken souvlaki plate and it's now my favorite dish. I typically go for the beef/lamb gyro pita but this is my now go to! The ambience was welcoming and the staff was friendly. Everything was clean and packaged nicely. Will be coming back in the future!!“
“I kid you not, the lamb gyro here just might be the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life, and I am not a young person. I don't know how they manage to make the gyro so flavorful, but it's absolutely ridiculous, in a really good way though. I could eat here every day. “Rumi is as good as it gets around here. Coffees are great and the food is great. My family lives coming here too. I brought my cousins here and they loved it as well. My kids love the smoothies. Smaller place, but all of the patrons are deep in their converatiin and enjoying their time at Cafe Rumi. I hope to come here for years to come.“

The peanut sauce was just as they describe it on their menu . . . I'll butcher it but something like, "really good peanut sauce." And indeed it was. It was light and punchy and I hope that's how it is all the time.Also, it was great service. She helped me decide between a Turkey Pesto Panini and the wrap. While it’s lovely having the restaurant all to ourselves at munch time, I can’t help thinking that so many people are missing out. Better babaganoush you probably won’t savor anywhere served with fluffy, fresh, pillowy pita bread. We enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka version. The servers are so friendly and the atmosphere in the room is relaxing with lovely music in the background. We need to support these family businesses in the communities where/near we live. They have a Sunday brunch buffet that we look forward to trying too.“
“The food here is amazing! We came here for my birthday dinner. We all got great dishes: my pork chop was tender and juicy, the crab cakes were excellent as was the flaky filo Mary's chicken. The desserts were good, not as great as the main courses in my opinion but my friends liked them. We got the bread pudding and the black bottom white chocolate banana cream tart.“
