“I’m a local in East Palo Alto and every time I come in, I am always greeted with a warm welcome. The customer service is beyond great and they truly care for their customers. When it comes to getting your food out they usually take a reasonable amount of time and almost always make sure to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. Definitely an underrated spot!“

“A lil pricey for a sandwich but very good stuff. Nice fresh sourdough; the bread was soft and had a nice slight crunch to it. The original (ham and turkey) was tasty and came with cheese. I saved half for the next day and it was still delicious. Somehow even better when cold. The crust sourdough dip with warm au jus (roast beef) was amazing. The roast beef was so tender! It was worth it. I also really enjoyed the bacon jam; I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed the bit of sweetness and caramelized onions in it. Really solid! The bread also held up nicely when dipped into the au jus. The cookies are not too bad; I tried the lemon and it smelled great. Taste was good too but unfortunately it was a lemon cookie with coconut shavings inside (which was not mentioned) and I'm not the biggest fan of coconut! The interior is nice and spacious. They are located in an office space.“

“Chill, local-style deli with extremely good sandwiches. I ordered a toasted Italiano. Hella tasty, and the veggies were still perfectly crisp after the drive home. Think I demolished it in under 10 minutes. 10/10 will come again when I'm in the area.“

“This place makes excellent sandwiches. It's our preferred sandwich shop in the area. Very well proportioned and not sloppy or greasy, yet hearty. Their soups, especially their tomato basil, is excellent as well. Definitely order in person for take out or dine in, because the prices through third parties are significantly higher.“

“Ok folks, many deli places have a BBQ sandwich or two but believe me when I say the handmade sauce provided here is among the very best I've had and I make my own and wish it turned out as good as Pop's. The food is rivaled by the friendly, polite, and courteous staff who make one feel they are being served as though you were family. This little gem is tucked away in the heart of an Industrial area in Hayward so lunch time can be a bit busy but the food is worth the little bit of waiting. “Had my first TBread experience yesterday and my oh my I'm craving TBread again ?. The bread in itself is an experience all together. I love how it's crispy fresh on the outside and delightful on the inside ?. I love and enjoyed the grilled pork Bahn mi so much, it wasn't over flavored, the meat was tender and just right with a combination of light spice from the fresh jalapeño mixed in with cilantro and the pickled veggies, mouth is watering again ?. Oh before I forget, I also tried out their Vietnamese coffee and WOW, wished I had 3 more. Glad to have discovered this place through doordash. ??“

“I had to place orders for an event i coordinated and the food was perfect. The food was prepared in the time selected and the service at pick up was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for great tasting food, friendly service and perfect for planning orders for big events.“

“Due to the rainstorm, I didn't want to go very far for food and opted for the nearby cafe. The Café was open and pretty much empty (understandable because I'm sure most people were working from home instead of trying to drive into work). I ordered the croissant and a banana nut muffin. The muffin, you can request to be warmed which I opted for. The egg, cheese, and bacon croissant was delicious, and I would order again. But I am curious about the other items on their menu, especially when it comes to the latter half of the day. There was a lasagne on there that I'm super curious about.“

“Best experience ever. Manuel is the owner/operator and really helped with with my company’s group order. The order via DoorDash failed and I ended up calling the restaurant direct and placing the order for 12 people to be delivered in less than 1.5 hours. He was super easy to communicate with, the sandwiches/soups were awesome, and it was all delivered on time by a peppy driver Saul :). What I love most about their modern Caesar salad is how crunchy and fresh it is, topped with a creamy Caesar dressing that makes it doubly delicious! The portions are generous, so I often have leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day. The staff at this location is incredibly friendly, and I enjoy bringing my dog along to sit outdoors, especially on sunny days. It's the perfect spot to refuel and relax after a workout!“

The presence of this sandwich shop is strong enough that I was recommended this place while flying into San Jose airport. I drove the 25 mins into the quiet streets of Palo Alto to taste the hype. The hype is real. Along with great food there is a Santa Margherita to Porto Fino mural on the wall (attached for your viewing pleasure). “Had a chance to stop by since it’s been on my list of places to try and was in the area! Had to go with the French dip since that’s their main item on the menu. Ordered a combo and got the onion rings that were perfectly fried. While ordering they ask if you’d like their horseradish on the side if you want an extra kick, and if you want ranch or bbq sauce (which are an additional fee and not made in house). The horseradish was a lovely pairing to the dip and the au jus was pleasant and not too salty. Not sure the bread I got was the same as I’ve seen in the other photos from other reviewers but would definitely come back to try their other items!“

“Loveeeee the Pee Wee (vegetarian) first time having it so I hope it continue to meet if not exceed my (high) expectations. The sourdough is just perfect, tastes very fresh and not stale or over toasted, just right. Sauce is amazing, it's a French dressing apparently. Vegan turkey is soooo good better than the mediocre "tofurkey" found at Safeway. The purple cabbage added nice crunch and the Swiss cheese I didn't taste. If your not a picky eater yes get pickles and lettuce plus tomatoes! Only thing is it would be nice to have vegan cheese, I would have gotten it just couldn't find it on the menu.“
