“Eastbrew Cafe and Bakery earns a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. I indulged in the Rise and Shiner, and I must say, the crispy potatoes added a delightful crunch to the dish. The freshness of the tomato within the burger was a pleasant surprise, and the brioche bread was simply delightful. My wife opted for the chilaquiles, and the standout feature for me was the crispy tortilla chips – a rare find, as soggy chips often ruin the dish for me. We also sampled the churro cheese danish, which I found to be decent but not exceptional. Overall, Eastbrew impresses with its attention to texture and freshness, making it a worthy spot for a satisfying meal. Staff were friendly and Inside was kept nice and clean. Limited seats though so keep that in mind when visiting this place.“

“Testing the unlimited sips. Very few options. Tip or you will not receive good service. At this location you have to wait until someone pays attention to you to ask for nondairy creamer. Other stores have three pitchers out with coffee creamer. Really annoying having to ask every time.“

“This cafe is located inside Alexander's Salon and believe me, it's worth the stop. They offer a wide variety of menu items from teas, coffee, paninis and have one hec' of a delicious tomato soup!! “First time trying Indonesian food and what a treat. The menu was well explained in the foreign names so it gave me and my family an easy way to choose our food options. I tried the combo plate special which includes most common dishes , turmeric fried chicken, rendang beef, vegetable curry, turmeric rice and sauteed tofu. We tried various items on the menu with the family and we loved it all. Service was great and we were even greeted by the chef, which she was also the owner, Stanny. She was so nice and asked us how we enjoyed the food. She even remembered all our names. We will be coming back to try more things for sure.“

“I've never done Yelp reviews, but I HAD to for this coffee shop. 1st timer. I initially wanted the ham and cheese croissant but it was out, so I ordered the jalepeno turkey/cheese croissant and the spanish latte. SOOO DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is super cute and the customer service was excellent! The croissant is a good size and filling! The ladies (i wish i gotten their names) were very helpful and sweet. I'm glad DT Ontario has this coffee shop and i hope it stays for the long run. I will definitely be back! Thanks Mestiza! :)“

“Place is perfectly put together, clean, relaxing space it's small but cute, plenty of seating to accommodate a good crowd. Service was great and they got to working on my order right away. Menu is pretty big it was hard to decide, I got a turkey pesto panini on sourdough, they have a lot of bread options. Kids got Smoothies which are pretty big. Mango chamoy smoothie and apple banana blueberry were really refreshing and good in taste and the 24oz size is filling. Super happy to have run into this place. Hope to be back soon!“

“The most calm, tasty, and accommodating cafe in the Claremont village. I have spent countless hours studying at Norema and every single tea is fresh and well-balanced. My favorite teas are the lychee tea, matcha milk tea, angel’s kiss and devil’s kiss teas. If you’re a student, I highly recommend stopping by for a new study spot. Get the gyoza and rice bowls also for a fresh, yummy lunch. I love the owners, they are so welcoming and kind. I can’t recommend visiting enough for a midday break or new relaxing study spot!“

“Came the day after Easter around 9:00 AM, and it was still pretty busy. We were still seated right away though. Our waitress explained the weekends and usually Mondays are pretty busy, but she was very attentive, extremely friendly, and super knowledgeable about the menu. I walked the Upland Village prior and couldn't find a good place to hang and work. There was one small shop but they had no seating. So, I drove on and found Lucky's. The atmosphere is great. Just was I was seeking. Good sized shop, nicely decorated, and open spaces to hang.My latte was well made - steamed properly, not overly hot and not too cold either. Much better than Starbucks.My favorite part of Lucky's was having a comfortable place to enjoy a drink and a snack while getting some work done. “This Filipino bakery is amazing! The Manila coffee was excellent. It had just the right amount of ube flavor. We also ordered the pandan milk tea and the panddan brownie, which both were very delicious. We tried the beef empanada and the crinkles... both were soo good! I also got a bag of beans, which also had the same tasting notes. Costs for a cup of coffee and a 12oz bag of beans are just on the average side for a Specialty Coffee Roaster. “This restaurant was a last minute find on our search for a dinner place. I was in the mood for soup and noodles, and the husband willingly obliged. We ordered the shrimp tempura udon and pork katsu curry. The shrimp tempura was still crispy when it was served, noodles had a bouncy bite, and the broth was flavorful. My husband isn't too big of a soup person, and he slurped almost all the soup! The pork katsu curry was exactly what we wanted. Curry was on point, and the rice was cooked perfectly! (It sounds silly, but poorly cooked rice can ruin a dish). There was also a creamy udon on the menu that I'd like to try next time. Our server was quick and profession. The inside of the cafe was so cute and inviting. It's decorated well with comfy chairs and couches, exposed red brick, and hanging chandeliers, which also makes this a great spot to read or get some work done.“

“Every time I ordered their liver dinner, it is fabulous. Their onions are so sweet. The bacon is crispy and during the day....I order it with the rice and the evening.... I do get the baked potato once in a while, but I do like the rice, but the liver is to die for. ..you get two nice size portions of liver .....now you have to love liver folks and I love liver! For somebody who doesn't get an opportunity to find liver that often in different restaurants flows does really good job of it. ...so liver lovers unite!“

“I will typically order one of their Rosies and sit and draw (or study). They have a nice vibe and if it gets too loud, I just put ear plugs on. The baristas are nice and know their menu, which you can opt out of boba if that's not your flavor, and you can ask to reduce certain drinks by 50%.I also discovered they have a Little Free Library in the back!“
