“This place is decent; considering the price and portion size, it's quite affordable. It falls into the category of satisfying and hearty rather than refined Japanese cuisine. The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off.The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn't quite mask it. Odd, isn't it?Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice. ?Considering the price, I'd give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Let me tell you about the culinary adventure of a lifetime I embarked on at Devil's Kitchen & Teppen in Ontario, CA! Picture me, winding down from a day's work in Ontario Ranch, my stomach practically talking to me, dreading the thought of a long trek home just for a meal. Then, like a gust of delicious fate, a customer threw me a lifeline with a recommendation to try this spot. Now, I've been down this road before, where the hype overshadows the reality, but, folks, this was the real deal. From the moment I stepped in, I was caught in this intriguing limbo—not quite the fast-food atmosphere yet echoing its convenience. The welcome we received was nothing short of heartwarming. We were swiftly seated and handed menus that felt like mini treasure maps—bulky, sure, but adorned with visuals and descriptions that promised culinary delights. Then came the showstopper—the food. It landed on our table, sizzling with promise and seasoned like a dream. It was a symphony of flavors that left me utterly speechless. We also dived into a tea concoction with lychee jelly that was the perfect encore to an already stellar performance. The service? Top-notch. Our waiter was a master of his craft, delivering efficiency and charm with ease. The entire crew radiated kindness, and the setting was a serene backdrop to an exquisite dining experience. But wait, there's more—the portions. In an era where I'm counting my bites, what I received was a generous bounty that filled me up in all the right ways. So, if your travels take you near Ontario, California, and your stomach starts to sing, direct your steps to Devil's Kitchen & Teppen. It's more than a meal; it's a heart-stealing, taste bud-energizing journey. This spot has not only won my stomach but also a top spot in my list of culinary favorites!“
“This is my favorite place to go for sushi or Korean BBQ. Friendly, attentive staff, and the food here is consistently delicious with generous portions. The setting is casual but comfortable. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.“
“Allen is the man. This place is like eating at home but like they make sushi and stuff. Food speaks for itself and is legit. Best sushi place for miles. Small intimate place easily becomes your go to spot to eat. Very friendly and just like a barbershop open to conversations that end up taking over the place with laughs. Get to know the chefs and they'll become family and take care of you like no other. If I could give more stars I would. I never really write reviews but this place deserves recognition from staff alone. Love the food too. Them rolls man ? . Let's go! God bless.“
“All you can eat sushi and all you can eat are not usually a good combo. HOWEVER, Zeppin is the exception. Best all you can eat sushi I've had in SoCal, period. They offer all you can eat for dinner, weekends and holidays. The fish is of very high quality. The sushi rolls are not just California rolls like they usually are at all you can sushi spots. Uni, toro tuna, toro yellow, tail, carpaccios, they have it all!!! Found my new sushi place! After a great meal a dessert is also included. Service was great, speedy, and friendly. Atmosphere as you can expect at any sushi establishment. They have a nice sushi bar as well.“
“Oh my God, the food was insanely amazing. We ordered the Wagyu hand roll the tuna handroll, and the salmon handroll, and wow. Even the seaweed is on a way different level. Ask for Danny the chef, on point. Super friendly environment. We honestly can't wait to come back.“
