“I am updating my previous review. As mentioned before this place is clean, food is great, and just needed some improvement in customer service. Well the last few times I went in for my clam chowder bread bowl the customer service has been excellent. Nice warm welcome as soon as I entered, and a thank you for coming in as I leave. Thanks for implementing the feedback. Every one has been super friendly. My husband's favorite is the pastrami sandwich and I took a bite and it is a must try.“

“Any time I'm feeling a salad this is easily the place at the top of my list. Their salads are decently priced and usually have the perfect amount of ingredients and I sometimes even had the homie at the counter hook it up with some extra dressings. Now tbh the times I've gotten sourdough on a sandwich, it's a little too tough for me to bite into cuz all the insides just go out the other end of the sandwich, but overall this place is a hidden gem ppl need to know about!“
“The #16 Roast Beef with jack is an OUTSTANDING sandwich. Tomatoes, lettuce, their house sauce, on toasted sourdough. It is one of the best sandwiches served in Elk Grove. Seriously. I cannot try another sandwich because this one is so good.The bread is superb.I order via delivery so I can't speak about the service. Except my sandwich has always been made spectacularly.Same about ambiance. I've never set foot in the establishment. I tried the clam chowder a month ago. It was "meh". *shrug*. I would not order again. I'd like to try the Mac and cheese.“

“This is a very cool Beach Hut as it's on the golf course. My husband and I like to go on a Sat of Sun early afternoon-get a sandwich, beer and watch people hit their balls around. The service is really great as everyone is super friendly and the food is fresh. They sometimes don't have any chips and I am a person who likes my sandwich with a crunch but it's ok because I have my beer to sip.“

“I enjoy this location. My last few visits I’ve been trying the seasonal lobster meals. Perfect for the cold season. The restaurant is clean with stylish decor. Almost feels like SF. The owners are friendly and warm up my chocolate chip cookies which I get every time I come in. Delicious to come by at least once a week. The menu is vast and it won’t disappoint you.“
“First timer and food was well priced and prepared well. The young white cashier had super high energy and yet the young black female server was a Debbie downer ? I guess she was not having a good day. She stood next to the cook waiting for food to deliver to tables and had the biggest attitude. It was horrible to watch. But I ordered two sandwiches. One roast beef and one tri-tip. Both excellent. The side of BBQ and horseradish sauce were excellent. They have a great selection of free chips that come with the sandwiches. I will try a shake next time. Oh by the way, the smell is memorizing when you walk in. Smells truly like a town deli. Good job, but maybe coach that young lady in restaurant etiquette ?“
“Love this place! We recently went there for lunch for the first time and had the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. Food comes out hot and fresh, tri tip flavor is amazing. Recently went back for Tri Tip tacos and that was even better than the Sandwich!“
