This for some reason has been my go-to for some good fish and chips. I usually do takeout out and whenever I get my food it is always good. Portions are great, hushpuppies are fantastic little small but still good. Overall it's good for me, the atmosphere is okay mainly a small mom-and-pop diner feel. The owner is great and always greets you when you enter.The clam chowder was good thick and not runny.

The Fish & Chips are very large portions. The fish is cooked perfectly every time. The Chips ( Frys) are tasty and do not taste like fish, they taste like potatoes!

Hmm this place has been open for decades and is in need of a remodel and deep cleaning. Food was decent and service was fast despite the place being very busy. Not the best place around but if you're craving fish and chips Ocean will do the trick.

Ocean Fish and Chips has been a staple in Elk Grove for years, which is a good sign since you know their food imust be good. It's located in an old drive up restaurant that's been on EG Blvd for as long as I can remember. Although it's not much to look at from the outside, their food is good.It has been a while since I've eaten here-no particular reason. I was really craving fish and chips, so I I got a 3 piece fried fish and chips and 4 piece oyster. It was delicious. Fish was fresh and oysters were tasty. My husband wasn't aware EG had a fish and chips place but he was so excited to find Ocean and he's planning what we'll order next.

This is the dirtiest restaurant. I have ever been in. The tables are sticky. The floors are dirty and don't even dare go to the bathroom because it is so filthy. Rings around the toilet and everything . The food used to be good a couple of years ago, but a new owner took over and the fish is Cut too thin and it's mostly all batter. I will never go back there again.

I'm extremely disappointed!!! I've been coming here for years. The food has always been well proportioned. Today, I ordered the 9 piece family meal. Not nearly enough chips for 4 people, maybe 2. I questioned, and I was told that was a medium size. 9 pieces of fish are not a medium order.
