Order a few meat dishes at a time or else you will be waiting. I feel like we were ordering one dish at a time and constantly ordering to the point where we were getting throttled to slow down. Overall food was on par with other shabu restaurants in town. The ice cream at the end was a nice touch. I noticed some people waiting a pretty long time while we were eating so make sure you have a reservation.

Great date night or bday spot. Went on Sat night at 630 so it was busy and just did the bar, waited about 20 min. Ayce hotpot is what we ordered, only tried beef and pork meat options, both very good quality and tender. The sauces were amazing, still thinking about them. And the Tom Yum broth was so delicious. Spicy tontoktsu was milder flavor but good too. Limited veggies though, and comes as a small bowl of mixed veggies, there's tofu and limited seafood options too. At the end, there's a scoop of ice cream or sherbet, perfect way to end the meal.

I had a pleasant evening at Swish 54, enjoying their Kobe beef offerings. The flavors were delightful, and the presentation was impressive. It's worth a visit for the Kobe beef experience.

So glad Swish54 made it through the pandemic! This is my favorite place for shabu. I've been to many places in and outside of the Sac area, but nothing satisfies my shabu craving like Swish does. I love that even when it's busy, there's a calmness to the ambiance. The service is always great. The servers are quick and attentive and I never feel like I'm waiting on something. Even though the appetizers aren't included in the price of the AYCE, they're definitely worth ordering. My favorite are the Pops Wings. Hands down one of the best wings I've had.The Kobe fries....*chef's kiss*As for the hotpot, my favorite broth to use is the spicy tonkotsu and the tomyum. The cuts of the meats are thin, so they cook fast and of great quality! The veggies are always fresh and taste so good when they soak up the broth.Swish is also a great place to come hang out for drinks and to watch games.I'm not big on sake, but there's a huge selection of sake. They also serve many different beer and soju.I highly recommend this place! If you're coming in with more than 5, definitely call and make a reservation.

Probably the best Shabu Shabu place in Sac! Love that it's in Elk Grove and not downtown as well. Both broths are so flavorful and rich. The meat is so thinly sliced, it's sooooo good. You can eat so much of it. For the dipping sauce, I like to mix garlic, ponzu, goma & chili oil = YUM Customer service is always great. Plus the Kings game was on! Only thing I wish there were more tvs instead it being just in the middle but it made it work and was able to watch the game. Perfect for the cold chilly weather. I always recommend family & friends here and they always love it!

My favorite shabu shabu place in Sacramento/Elk grove! The ambiance is nice, Service is great and the broth is perfect. I got the spicy tonkotsu and Tom yum broth and they were perfect. Big variety of sauces and good choices of meat. Everything was soo good! Will be back for sure

The environment and cleanliness of the restaurant is great but the service is soooooo slow here or maybe they are just really stingy with the meat platters although we got the AYCE. There aren't very many options so we already limited to what we can eat. Our waitress is nice but there's three of us and you only bring out 1 veggie bowl instead of 3 ? I've already had to ask 3 times and she still didn't get that we all should've began with our own. Also if we put in an order and it's still being cut atleast communicate that's it's still being worked on but if I'm sitting here playing with my empty bowl or my MIL scavenging through the soup I think it's a problem . The only reason it gets two stars is bc the food itself isn't bad but my goodness if you offer AYCE at least be able to supply .. or have other options so we are somewhat distracted waiting for the meat to be cut.

The best hotpot place in the Elk Grove / Sacramento area. The slices of meat are all high quality. Quality service. Sometimes it can get crowded on weekends so you'll have to join the waitlist.

Food was way better than I expected. I really like the decorative ambiance for Halloween! Food was great and service was just as good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great spot for kids to enjoy a fun meal! Was way too hungry to take pic of everything but it was sooo good! Convenient location to the area as well

I came here with a large party with a reservation. They do not sit the party down until everyone has arrived. They are able to accommodate everyone. They provide high chairs for little ones, but no booster chair. The booth is a little far from the table but the kiddos managed. We all did ACYE. There were three stove tops in the table we were at. I got the miso and tonkotsu broth. I enjoyed both of them. I thought the meats were fine, the beef and lamb were definitely my go-to. The ramen noodles are fresh and the udon wasn't bad. Fish balls were a fan favorite with my group. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. It definitely has a more romantic ambience since I felt like it was somewhat dark in there. I wish it was brighter but it's okay. We ordered several rounds of meats.Parking is in a complex so no issues with finding parking.

5 years later & due for another 5 star review. Establishment has maintained consistency & cleanliness. Service is always great & I don't ever leave unsatisfied. Sometimes I'm so full, I skip the yummy Gunther's ice cream. They rotate the ice cream flavors but cookies & cream will always have my heart. I eat here year round & almost monthly. Love me some swish!!

First time trying this AYCE shabu place! It was $35.99pp. I was surprised with how nice the meat quality was for an AYCE restaurant. Only wished they offered more varieties. The menu was very limited to 3 types of meat (beef, lamb, and pork), 3 types of seafood (fish balls, mussels, and shrimp), 3 types of carbs (rice, ramen, and udon), and assorted veggies. Oo and afterwards, we each get a scoop of ice cream ( flavors included: strawberry, green tea, rainbow sherbet, cookies and cream).Service was a bit slow here, but food tasted excellent. Definitely worth a try here!

It was a fun experience, and the food served was very fresh. It also came out quickly. When I was asked if I'd ever been here before, I said it was my first time. The person told me she was so excited for me, and that I was going to love it. However, she gave zero instruction about how to enjoy this meal...My husband's drink glass also sat empty for a long time, and we had to call out to waitstaff to get him some water.
