Apple fritter review #5: Glaze: quite nice, 5 stars Outside: good and crispy, 5 stars Inside: moist but not wet, could be fluffier, 4 stars Filling: fine, maybe a little too sweet, 3 stars This place is called The Donut Shop on Yelp and in Maps but the storefront says Donut Corner, so I'm not sure which is right. Anyways 4 stars, a decent fritter. Btw I got a regular one but it looked like there were mini apple fritters in the case, which is a great idea if so.
Todays donuts were a mess. Obviously ALL DAY OLD DONUTS at 7am. I feel the owners partied for the 9er game and made double the donuts and sold these today. Donuts were deflated like a day old. The maple, chocolate and glaze had that white hue and the sides were wet LIKE OLD DONUTS. I'll never come again. Complete RIP for $20 a dozen.

Used to be my go-to donut shop but they must be under new ownership. The woman who helped me said, "When you are ready..." and I finished my order and she was no where. I didn't realize she left because the counters are tall. She comes back and repeats herself, "When you are ready..." I asked for a dozen...2 of each...and ended up with 3 of each...and she asked me to repeat myself multiple times....if she would only take those air pods out of her ear then she could hear.
