Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery sells ice creams made of cashew milk. If you have a lactose intolerance, or allergy, this is definitely your place; and even if you don't, I think you still will like these frozen treats. The Emeryville location is a food court at public market with window service and amble seating. Expect to pay higher than dairy ice cream costs (like $6 a scoop). Came across this place while having dinner at the public market in emeryville. I loved the concept of cashew ice cream, it felt like a healthier alternative to regular ice cream so I gave it a go! The employee was so sweet, taking her time talking through all the flavors with me and letting me try any and all flavors I desired lol I ended up getting their matcha and specialty flavor and it was such a yummy pairing! I'll definitely go back and even try their other locations
