“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“Lovely place for great pizza & great service. From the outside, you wouldn’t expect it to be a really chill, relaxing vibe type of place with open kitchen and great place of local neighborhood organic ingredients joint. Very organic kid’s drawing pics hanging throughout the place, it doesn’t look out of place but more of family & neighborhood feeling kind of place. It’s an all day place with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Got here between breakfast & lunch and both menu looks fantastic. Want to order them all but settled for pizzas and salad & of course lemonchello spitz. Great pizza dough and the ingredients are fresh and you can see and taste it that it makes with love for sure. Salad was good abit blanched for me but was focusing on the pizza so…very well make and well cook in the wood fired oven. The pastries look delish and smell fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly, no rush but chill vibe type of service. Prices wise, for 2 pizzas, a cocktail, and a salad and with tip…$150. Parking can be a hassle but if you are willing to walk a little, free neighborhood street parking or if you can find parking within 200feets, then it will be paid street parking or paid garage parking nearby. Still thinking of their pizzas, yum!“

“The pizza was very good. The Sei Margarita was a nice traditional tasting pizza and the Mala Lamb was a really good unique pizza that tasted like nothing I had tried on a pizza. The crust was excellent, bubbly and chewy. Save room for the tiramisu which was excellent.“

“A friend and I visited Il Forno Trattoria last Saturday. After we left, my friend realised she had lost her grandmother's ring, of great sentimental value. We telephoned the restaurant even though it had already closed for the night, and the team immediately invited us back to search. When we arrived, the staff were cleaning up but had already started to look for the ring and helped us look through the restrooms and, kitchen. At least three or four employees actively helped, including providing gloves and helping us go through the trash to ensure it was lost in a restroom trash can. It was clear that everyone was genuinely concerned and willing to do whatever they could. Although the ring was not found, their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to stay late and actively help without question have left a lasting impression. I mustn’t forget the meal itself had been excellent: well‑prepared dishes, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a well‑chosen wine list. Taken together with the staff’s extraordinary support, the experience showed Il Forno Trattoria at its best. It is the epitome of excellent service. Whether you are looking for quality Italian cuisine or a restaurant where the team truly cares about its guests, I cannot recommend Il Forno Trattoria highly enough.“

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.“

“Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in LA. My husband and I visit here 2-4 times a month. All the locations are beautiful and unique, but our favorite is Sherman Oaks. It's our home local restaurant, and the entire staff knows us and takes great care of us. It was just our 17th anniversary, and the staff made us feel so special. But then again, they always make us feel special, so we just love everything about this place. Our go-to must-haves are the chicken sliders, fries, and the little gem. And to end the meal, we order vanilla lattes, the best cake and ice cream. It's simply the best!“

“This is my absolute favorite restaurant ...and I eat out 3-5 nights a week. I can always count on All Roads to be 100% perfect! The food is BEYOND delicious and I have had almost every single item on the menu. Never once was I dissappointed. A MUST try is the BIANCA PINSA as well as the Faro and Romini salads....Dessert brownie is spectacular too. Everyone I've brought here has fallen in love. The service is timely, professional and friendly. The manager Alexandra is the hardest working restaurant I've ever encountered! You will be thrilled with this restaurant...I was there last night and am bring another new friend this Friday night!😋💗“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. “Osteria Vera is a great spot for an authentic Italian meal. The food was delicious and service was great. The menu is a bit limited, but all dishes were top rate Italian. The place is low key and has a very cozy neighborhood vibe. Lovely and fun and easy. Highly recommend for a pasta centric meal and they only have beer and wine and no bar so that's why I didn't give it 5 stars.“

“We went to the coolest little Italian place in the valley for Valentine's on a total whim. The entire place was themed, they had a fun violinist, the wait staff wore Valentine's glasses & vests, they had pink and red lights on the palm trees out front, heart shaped straws... it was so quirky and fun. Service was awesome, like the staff was actually having a good time and glad we were there. The food was AWESOME quality... everything homemade down to the freshly baked heart shaped bread. I don't recall if we've ever really 'celebrated' Valentine's day but going to this restaurant made it feel like an actual holiday. So fun and cute. Also, the prices & portions! “We had a great experience at Ospi Brentwood. From start to finish, everything was on point. The food, the service, and the drinks. We tried several pizzas: the Copione, Pepe-Roni, Hapa, and Funghi. All were delicious, though the Funghi was our least favorite the mushrooms were just a bit overpowering for our taste. The Arugula Salad was incredibly refreshing with the perfect amount of lemon juice. We also had the Spicy Rigatoni with vodka sauce, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The cocktails came out quickly, and the food was served just as fast. Everything arrives hot and fresh, so be ready to dig in right away. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“I moved back to LA after 20 years, and although Bruno has moved on, it still feels like he’s in the kitchen. His lovely soul and legendary recipes live on, deliciously!!
Everything is a delight, including the addition of the outside tables, with a Santa Monica Pier view.
Limited parking in the back, but there is public parking at the mall/pier.

“Today was my first time coming to this restaurant. I just moved across the street about a month ago. And I had the mozzarella free teeth, and it was very good. It was a nice restaurant, very clean inside very nice looking and the waiter was very friendly and the bartender it was, well, they were all friendly, including the kitchen staff. “1st, I'm Italian. This has a strong bearing on my review. We had the homemade lasagna. It was the best lasagna I've ever had, next to my sainted Italian mother's. The food is authentically Italian. Also has the arugula salad...superb. We are not from the area. This restaurant was recommended by the innkeeper at the place we stayed. If we're in Santa Monica again, we'll come back for another authentic Italian meal!“
