The staff were incredibly sweet and walked me and my husband through the whole process and what were some popular options among customers. This was by far the best seafood boil I’ve had. Large servings and I didn’t even have to ask for “extra saucy” because it already comes loaded with flavor and sauce! Can’t wait to come back here :)“

Oysters were delicious, love their mignonette, crudo full of flavor with a hint of spice, and caviar service unmatched. Love coming here for a mid-day wkd Spritz. Our server was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us attentively. I know every time I come here is always a positive experience.“

“The food was very good. I dined solo and had chicken liver mousse, the yellowtail crudo, the peach and tomato burrata salad, and the crab cake. The mousse was rich and interestingly paired with pickled blackberries and honeycomb. The crudo was delicious with the refreshing citrus. The salad too felt very fresh and like I was holding on to late summer. The crab cake was good, the sauce had a nice balance of spice and sweetness, it was very salty which is not unexpected with crab. The service was kind and attentive. I was very pleased with my experience and would return again if I'm back in Santa Monica.“

The reason why I gave it a 4 stars and not a 5 star is because the space is super small, and it does get overwhelming! I had a rude experience with a customer, they don’t know how to say excuse me lol. (I got the Cali roll with the salmon avocado roll!) I also asked for eel sauce:)!!“

“Excellent service, amazing lobster 🦞 with crab rice. I just wish I was given the prices before agreeing on the upgrade. I ordered a family for 2 and CJ server offered to make it 3ppl. I was kinda surprised with my bills and how the restaurant dictate the gratuity %….Overall, I love dining in this restaurant because we were welcome and were given a great and warm reception. Thank you to the staff who made us feel special especially to CJ she was amazing. Indeed, the most expensive meal I have eaten lol it’s worth it.“

“Seafood quality is better than supermarket quality, and of course this means you’ll pay more for it. The cafe food is great but very pricey coming from someone visiting from out of state. We got the poke bowl, the calamari and clam chowder, the lobster roll, and the Dungeness crab pasta. There is also a good selection of alcohol and Asian sauces as well as vegetables.“

“The first time I ever had a lobster roll was here. I AM GLAD it was here. Maybe it was just the bartenders turn at the music I dont know. They were playing mid 90's 2000's rock the whole time, banger after banger! I was looking for a quiet place to eat, but this place took me by surprise so I stayed. The Lobster roll was amazing, warm and Buttery. NOT CHEWY! Beer selection was awesome too. You gotta try the crab and jalapeen dip, also the calamari was delicious. I will be coming back! “I’ve been coming here for years, and I stopped by again recently. Honestly, it’s just as good as I remember from a couple years ago. The burritos are still packed with flavor, the ingredients taste fresh, and the portions are solid. It’s nice to see that the quality hasn’t changed at all. The service was friendly too, and everyone was quick and welcoming. Definitely one of those places that’s stayed consistent over the years, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.“

We go often, I must always order Saag Paneer, unbelievable, and we try all the various Biryani which are amazing. Last night had Chicken Vindaloo with garlic naan - just melts in your mouth. The staff, it is family owned and everyone is absolutely kind and helpful. A very large menu of Indian traditional meals, very reasonably priced and the food fressness stairs you right in the face. We randomly found this place one night and we have been back at least once or twice per week since. This wonderful restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall off Ventura Blvd with ample parking ( and handicap) right in front. Opened until 10pm, it is a great place for a special meal but is a very casual environment. I've been eating Indian food all my life and this is by far the best you will ever find! And believe me, the family that built this business are very proud of their food.“

I had tried it before at other locations and remembered it being satisfactory for when I had a poke craving, and after a medium (three protein scoops) bowl I was again satisfied. Notably the salmon and tuna tasted quite fishy in some bites, and pineapple was the only standard fruit option besides mandarin orange slices (which I don’t want to try on poke, personally). But overall, they had most of the standard toppings like edamame, crab, cucumber, ginger, etc, their sauces were tasty, and they served a sizable portion of rice, fish and toppings all. All About Poke will hit the spot if you are nearby and need a nice fresh lunch.“

We have never been to a Bubba Gump Shrimp restraunt before, will never return either. Too bad. Went across the pier to Seaside on the pier and have an excellent view.“
