Great place to sample beers, kombucha, and/or cider. Staff was great in helping understand how to get what you want. They checked multiple times to see we were enjoying.I really love that you pour your own whatever and the machine tells you how much you have poured. Great neighborhood place. Looking forward to next time.

Decided to walk over to finally give this place a try. Once you get inside, go to the cashier and ask for a card. The card is to insert on the drinks you want to pour. They will then take your credit card and essentially put it on a tab. Once you're done for the day/night, you turn in the cards and they will charge your actually credit card. You're then prompted to tip if you'd like. Fun atmosphere with games & decks of cards that you can borrow while you hang out and have a drink. I like the fact that you can pour however much or little and you'll get charged for what you drink. We haven't had a chance to try their food but it seemed decently priced. The bathrooms are located on the outside by the gym center. Lots of fruity beers and kombucha. We would definitely come back and bring friends next time they are in town!

Upon entering the establishment, I was quite impressed by the concept of this place. Getting a card to have as your pass to browse over 20+ brews is definitely my style since I enjoy trying new things. While sitting by the warm fire, I enjoyed a nice glass of Stonehenge IPA, their two slush shots that both taste amazing, a pretzel bagel and churro. All were a delight to enjoy while basking in a comfortable atmosphere. Abby was a delight to have as a guide and server for my first visit, felt like a behind the scenes to the business and will definitely come back to enjoy more.

Ambience is great, we were excited to have a self-pour beer establishment near the house. Service was great everyone was attentive. The food however, I mean, we only had the nachos and we added pulled pork but it was the saddest nachos I have ever seen. A handful of chips, quite literally like 15 beans and like two slobs of cheese that were not enough for the small handful of chips. This is a good spot to chill and have a beer, but I would go somewhere else for food.

Needed something to eat after an afternoon of music & wine out in San Pasqual and found this on the map on our way home. I thought if it looks good we'll stop and if not we'll keep going somewhere we know. Well, in summary all I can say is WINNER WINNER PULLED PORK DINNER!!! The entire staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. From the host that explained how everything worked (it's a pour your own) to everyone (yes, cooks and servers) making and serving really great food! We had the Pulled Pork Sliders on a Pretzel Bun that had a perfect meat to bun ratio. The pretzel buns were superb in that they were soft and not the typical hard as a rock buns you normally get. We also got the 'MELALICIOUS' flatbread (Pear, Salami, Mozzarella, Ricotta , Honey Drizzle) that was equally crave-able. I'm not really a big beer guy but it's great that you pour your own using a card that's attached to your credit card. You can pour a spot and try something and frankly I think it's faster and more efficient than doing this all through a bartender. Find the one ya like and fill'er up! I found some non-IPA's that I liked and went great with our food. Lastly while the place is somewhat small it's laid out really well and with an outside are with a fire pit, plenty of spacious seating and nice wood pellet heaters that were regularly filled and gave off a warm glow that was really nice. Do yourself a favor and check it out. We will definitely be back much sooner than later! PS .... If you know me you know a) I'm diabetic and the pretzel buns/flatbread was nicely portioned so I could enjoy them without worry, and b) I'm usually too hungry to take any pictures. I'm working on getting better but I do have a few that are so-so of the patio but they don't do it justice.

Fun, relaxing vibe! The food menu is small, but both the BBQ flatbread and charcuterie board we ordered were very good. They have a good variety of self service beer options, too! This is a great addition to the South Escondido area.

Good vibe, good food, good drinks. I ordered the pulled pork salad and it was delicious. It's the kind of place that you want to hang out a while with a fire pit, couches, and games. I'm not a big beer drinker so I appreciate that they had good non-beer options. The others in our group really liked the beer selection.

Just had a wonderful experience at Barn Door Public House. Was warmly greeted by Abby who helped us push tables together for a large party. The atmosphere, beer and food were fantastic. What made the night was how attentive and kind Abby was to us. This establishment and Abby are gems. I highly recommend coming here.

The ambiance is great but the margarita and the pretzel bites were horrendous. I cannot stress how bad the beer cheese was. The tap selection is...fine. There are like 10 taps and a few were out of order. Service was fine. Good not great. Overall it was not great.

I am so happy to see a great place like this coming to south Escondido. Food is amazing. Great beer selection and the venue is outstanding. This place gonna get soooo crowded in summer. Definitely coming back. Pork sliders and charcuterie board are to die for.

Great place to hang out. Beware the have a Spiced Cranberry Margarita that is wine based with no tequila. Tasty but no punch. Hummus tray a bit disappointment, charcuterie is great. Pork sliders are great.

I didn't take any pictures, but we decided to give it a try. We will be back for sure. The vibe is very relaxed, and the food is good. The service is fantastic! Everyone we interacted with were so polite and attentive- great job!! Look forward to bringing our friends here.
