Ok, so I was a little concerned based on the overall score and some of the comments but we tried it anyway. Darrell the bartender was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Burgers were great and the hand cut fries were as good as I have had. But the highlight was the fried mushrooms. They were very lightly battered and cooked to perfection. I have been looking for years for a place in San Diego that does these right. Score!

Love the food, it's hand made and fresh to order. With that being said; it does take time! Be patient. But it's worth the wait! If it's busy, be kind to your server/bartender. They have a core staff and the food quality is unlike any other! Fresh cut fries and their food is specialty ordered locally. Ask for the specials, they have them daily. Also they make a MEAN cocktail with whatever liquor choice you have just kind. PS. Try a cactus cooler from Darrell :)
