1st and probably last time here. Drive thru has weird in/out which may be accident waiting to happen. My "local" pastry is a blueberry muffin top that is frozen and wrapped in plastic with cardboard insert stating it's Seattle favorite. The coffee itself has no discernable Irish mint flavor.UPDATE: owner/manager reached out, wants to one on one to see if can make it right. I am not interested, thanks though. I shared my experience in the hopes that the frozen pastries and non flavored drinks dont happen to someone else. My lesson is to try new places in person, not drive thru, so I can correct problems in real time. Have a happy...?

I love black rock, but every time I get a drink with orange juice in it, there never is. I got a fuel and it was a completely clear drink. I wanted orange juice in it, and I even asked if there was any orange juice in it, showing that the drink is completely clear and the worker paused for a second, and then looked back and said "yes" This happens almost every time and I wish the workers understood that we are paying for small things like this to be in our drinks. It happens a lot with the door dash orders too. .

Coffee is always super! Love the Peppermint Bark Blondie. Stickers are always a plus too. Everyone is always very friendly. 10000% worth the drive from San Diego ?

LOVE!! This coffee shop. Truly one of the bests ima be honest- I got the Oreo chiller (my go to drink) and it’s amazing. The service is always on point, and understanding. Love this place- definitely would prefer over the other ones :)

Service is always excellent!!! The chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've had. The cookie is pre packaged from another company but still 10/10. The kiddos love their lil rockers mango smoothie and toasted plain bagels with cream cheese. I love recommending Black Rock and will continue to do so!
11/3/23 Went this am 5.30 said opens at 5 open sign on no one in store no lights i go here at least 3 times a week not very happy ?

My new favorite coffee shop of all time. We just had a baby so safe to say we have gotten a lot of coffee lately to help with the inevitable sleep deprivation that comes with taking care of a newborn.My husband and I generally get a regular hot vanilla latte with alternative milk but lately I've been branching out and trying new things. Kettle corn cold brew- their seasonal drink is 10/10 one of my favorite drinks to get here. Pumpkin Blondie was a little too sweet for my taste but would definitely try again half sweet. Hazelnut mocha aka their "blackout" was also incredible. I still have yet to try their fuel drinks and still have to make my way through their drink list but I have yet to not love anything from here. Also their muffin tops are so so good! Definitely better than Starbucks, I can't recommend enough.

Staff is awesome! Drinks I love are the jack hammer, pumpkin blondie, & liquid IV (usually get all my drinks iced). Definitely recommend Black Rock over other coffee spots in Escondido. Chill vibes!
