What a gem to find in North County! I was so hungry that I forgot to take any photos, but everything was OUTSTANDING! We got a chicken combo, flautas, and chicken nachos... we have an over-ordering problem, but leftovers are sometimes even better! Quick service, and I'm never mad about having a beer while I wait for my food. Such a cute spot!

We come here 2-3 times a month. It is always good, and at times really unbeatable. The chicken is great (both grilled or the shredded type in rolled tacos), carnitas, and any of the shredded beef dishes as well. The hot red salsa is perfect for us- delicious and spicy. The Daniel's special burrito is my favorite lately. Service has always been friendly! I'd say this is a big step above your average taco shop for sure. It feels homey and you should try it out!

Back when the food was cheaper (pre 2021/22) this was a decent place to go to. Food would sometimes be just OK and sometimes good. Customer service was always lacking, but hey, you weren't paying a ton like now and weren't being asked to tip. When prices began increasing, we reduced how often we went significantly, since we started feeling as though the prices just didn't match the quality. Flash forward to yesterday (we haven't ordered anything from here since maybe last summer) and was told a Fajita Burrito with carne asada instead of chicken was over $19, and that wasn't including taxes. To be frank, no pun intended, this place isn't $19 burrito good. Honestly, it's not even $13 burrito good. Their chicken plates often left little to be desired. I'm all for paying more if your product is outstanding (customer service included), but unfortunately, neither exist here. Customer service in the past was always unfriendly, taking orders like robots and just never seeming as though they enjoyed their jobs, even when it wasn't busy. It's disappointing as this place is super convenient to so many people, but the food and service simply doesn't justify the price anymore.

We ordered the Farmhouse meal for a family get-together. We have never had better carnitas, they were crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and all the sides were great. We count Chicken Lisa's as being one of our favorite restaurants. The man at the register was a pleasure also. We'll be back real soon. Keep up the good work!

Had Chicken Falutas. BEST I've ever had. They are thick, & full of tender white meat. Portions are wonderful. Salsa is flavorful. The staff is very attentive and friendly. 4 screens showing all spots. Perfect small neighborhood bar with excellent food. Chicken Lisa's is one side, Frankie's the bar, is the other side. Great service. The food is always good. They make it fast in 10-15 mins. The surf and turf burritos are the best. We usually call for take out and this is our regular to go place.

Maybe the worst California burrito I’ve ever had. 60% cold shredded cheese 30% fries and 10% meat?maybe some people like it like that but it’s not my style of “Mexican” food.
Love their Chicken baskets with beans and rice! Best grilled chicken any where. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The chicken is my fav but they also have yummy Mexican food items. Great breakfast burrito!

I hate to have to write this kind of review, because Chicken Lisa's has long been one of my favorite local spots. There were minor irritations in the past with to go orders, mainly missing items or food cold with just a five minute drive back home. Super Bowl Sunday I decided to try again and treat myself to a meal of shredded beef flautas with rice and beans and their cinnamon crisps for dessert. I ate half for lunch, and saved the other half for dinner that day. It was literally all I ate. By about 8:30 PM , I started having signs of food poisoning that lasted nearly 3 hours. It is a huge disappointment that a neighborhood small business that started off with such promise has deteriorated to this level.

Really good Caesar salad, floutas were ok a bit dry. I think they have excellent chicken dishes, would go back for any that has their rotisserie chicken in it. Carnitas plate was also just ok for me. I would go back and try it again
