This wonderful little hole in the wall watering hole is just the kind of place every neighborhood needs. The demographic is vast, with younger folks, mixed with old timers, locals and everyone in between.Beer selection is just fine, with several IPAs on tap. I lived in Escondido since 2004. Not sure when this place opened, but super delicious. I ate chicken street tacos, my wife's friend shared some chicken flaunts. Both sure awesome. The staff was really attentive and on it. Great place lucky I live close. Close to the 15 for anyone driving bye. It is Connect to a wine beer bar, so sit in there and order if you want a drink.

We went to Frankies last night to watch the US v Netherlands World Cup game. The food and the service were outstanding but we had to leave at half-time because it was so hot in the bar. It was 83 degrees (per the thermostat in front of us) and no AC or fans. Definitely not worth going to the bar just due to the heat. Will be ordering the food to go because it was so amazing! Will try the bar again in the winter.
