Coffee was solid, they also were able to make it with honey which was a major plus. Also tried their matcha with honey which was alright as well. The place itself was spacious and welcoming to be in. Parking was easy to find. Definitely will be back if ever in the area!”

While it was beautiful to sit outside, there was a wait so we belly’d up to the bar and watched how efficient and quick everyone worked together. Ordered a cup of their seafood chowder that had clams, shrimp and mushrooms and the Sandy Beach Sandwich with bay shrimp, bacon, green onions and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough. Sitting at the bar we were able to see all of the food that came out! They had a hot and cold crab sandwich that both looked delicious . Their Pub Cod sandwich was huge! The Shrimp Louie salad was big and had a lot of bay shrimp on it. This place was definitely worth the wait! Don’t miss out!”

“This is a simple diner with positively amazing food. Everything we ordered was incredible. As a couple who often splits a meal we had enough for about four of us when we both ordered our own. I was able to pack it all up and take it out to somebody who needed it but if you're wondering about portion size it is ample and everything was delicious. The service was so steady that my coffee never had a chance to get cold.”

“I absolutely loved this place! Unfortunately, I was only visiting Eureka, but both nights went to Humboldt cider.
It’s in a huge space, extremely high ceilings, bit of a warehouse feel, but with an artsy edge.
Lots of different seating arrangements, incl. an area looking out of the building where there was probably a giant garage door at some point (providing open air vibes), couches, small and large tables, and a smaller area, partially enclosed for more intimate room (it can be rented out for parties or what have you).
Extremely reasonable prices.
They don’t carry food per se (they have chips & brownies) but there was always a food truck parked in front.
The ciders themselves, I thought they were delish and they had a good variety. They also have plain pressed cider/nonalcoholic cider.
Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in cider suggestions and letting me taste.
Be aware, they are only open four days a week, I think. So check on that before going.
They have a bunch of board games and a couple skee ball games. Bring quarters.
Casual and comfortable atmosphere with yummy cider – definitely check it out!”

I just read this review and… I’m shaking my head, I am a local who’s been eating here for a long time and this honestly made me laugh out loud, not only am I a very dark skinned person but there is many dark skinned staff members at this restaurant so this comment comes off very unbelievable to me.
I have never been discriminated here and find everyone very kind, my waiter there was a young dark skinned girl and also like I said I am very dark skinned, so this is just laughable to me and not a review I would find accurate or helpful at all I also find it so odd that who ever wrote this review felt the need to state the skin color of the accused party maybe they are a bit colorist in there statement ??‍♀️

The Mod size personal pizza (it’s a thin crispy crust, but they DO have a thicker crust option) is enough for lunch with a couple of pieces left over to take home for later. Love that you can build your own pizza with as many toppings as you want for one price or you can pick one of their creations as is or use it as a starting point and add/subtract toppings to make it your own. Same with their salads, you can add any of their pizza toppings & make a fantastic and filling salad. Also love their cheesy breadsticks. Staff is always super friendly and helpful and we have always felt very welcome and taken care of every time we eat here. Pizzas cook quickly, less than 10 minutes and no extra charge for a cup of ranch with your pizza. Also, they have the most awesome little bits of crunchy ice for their fountain drink, if you’re into that kind of thing like we are! If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out on some delicious crispy, thin crust pizza with high quality toppings.”

We love this food truck, and we super love it’s so close to our home. Not close to your house? No prob, head up to Freshwater reserve or Freshwater Park (no dogs tho) to enjoy your food with a great view.”

“We love bakeries. Some days we stop at two or three as we travel through towns. The reviews said Ramone's was really good so we had to try them. As soon as we walked in and saw the cases our eyes lit up. Great selection of quality pastries and cakes. We settled on 2 orange-currant scones and a baby NY cheesecake just big enough for two. We ate one of the scones as soon as we got back in our vehicle and almost went back for more. Full of flavor and nice texture. We had the cheesecake for dinner dessert and yes, it was fantastic. One of the best cheesecakes we have had. You have to go to Ramone's if you are anywhere near Eureka. The only thing we are sorry about is we were out of town too far to go back for another cheesecake by the time we ate it. Super high marks. Thank you Ramone's.”
