I have gotten food from Cap's Food Shack three times. I ordered one of the specials all three times. The first two times they had sandwiches and they were fantastic. Today they had beef stroganoff and it was just so so.
I LOVE this place. I work @ Starbucks & one of the guys had come into my store one day and was telling us to stop by but when he left he came back with menus and so I had to go of course! Anyway ever since then I love coming when they’re in McKinleyville. They’re so sweet and the food is delicious! Honestly pretty decently priced for the serving sizes and quality as well

omg this place is bomb! The fried pickles are such a brilliant idea, and they're perfectly crispy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was hands down the best I've ever had- the breast was very large, perfectly cooked and juicy/tender inside and very crispy outside. Grilled bun, lettuce and mayo, and the fries on the side were excellent as well. Gourmet level, far beyond what you'd expect from a food truck. Absolutely eating here again ??
