I went to Cap's because my dentist was talking about how good the food was. Dr. K tends to like everything so I was a little skeptical. I am so glad she had me try the food. I had the sliders with fries and mushroom appetizers. The food was fresh. You can tell quality food from the oil used. The fries were crispy without the old oil smell. The mushrooms were done well - juicy and crispy. The sliders were good by itself and didn't need any ketchup etc. I highly recommend and will be going back!

omg this place is bomb! The fried pickles are such a brilliant idea, and they're perfectly crispy and delicious. The chicken sandwich was hands down the best I've ever had- the breast was very large, perfectly cooked and juicy/tender inside and very crispy outside. Grilled bun, lettuce and mayo, and the fries on the side were excellent as well. Gourmet level, far beyond what you'd expect from a food truck. Absolutely eating here again ??

I have gotten food from Cap's Food Shack three times. I ordered one of the specials all three times. The first two times they had sandwiches and they were fantastic. Today they had beef stroganoff and it was just so so.

I LOVE this place. I work @ Starbucks & one of the guys had come into my store one day and was telling us to stop by but when he left he came back with menus and so I had to go of course! Anyway ever since then I love coming when they’re in McKinleyville. They’re so sweet and the food is delicious! Honestly pretty decently priced for the serving sizes and quality as well

This place is amazing! The owner and staff are very friendly and the food is bomb! You can taste the soul in it. 3 of us got different things: chorizo slider (special), portobello mushroom burger (very thick), and chicken sandwich. We all tried each others and agreed all we would get them again!

This place never fails!!! Always good and the staff is so kind! If I have to recommend anything it’s their breaded chicken sandwich with their bomb fired pickles!
I’ve never eaten burgers before let alone sliders…. I have ALWAYS hated them. Let’s just say I’m a changed woman.Caps is the only burger that I have ever enjoyed to say the least, and have came back for more!!!Hands down the BEST sliders/burgers in California.I LOVE the slider, it’s actually kind of ridiculous how much I enjoy them!Also the staff and owner are always polite, very helpful, and it looks like they enjoy and take pride in providing a kick butt food truck; which is amazing in my eyes.Keep doing a great job!!
