Had a wonderful lunch experience that included our daughters, delicious cold crab sandwiches, perfect weather for outside dining, and good service, even with a large lunch crowd.

We weren't going to the restaurant we wanted to pick up some crab! Regardless the people at the restaurant we're super nice and they were going to close in 3 minutes and they were still willing to take us in. But we wanted to just pick up some fresh crab and we did two huge crab over 2 lb apiece and yes they were delicious and definitely worth it. And the customer service was right on the people were very lovely and I can't wait to go back and get some smoked salmon

"Word of Mouth" places are ALWAYS great!!! Our Friend that lives Locally, asked us to come for Breakfast (it is a Breakfast and Lunch only establishment). It is right on "the Bay", the name does the restaurant perfect. Not only Normal Breakfast dishes but also those dishes that involve fish plates, such as "Crab Benedict" and so on. Will be eating here in the Future when visiting Extreme NorCal!???

I guess I should have known better than continue eating my breakfast of hang town fry on Monday, February 12. The oysters had chewy inedible portions and in a few hours, I threw up my whole breakfast. The oysters advertised as fresh on the menu. My companian's food, omelette and English muffin, were both served cold. My omelette was way overcooked. We have always loved eating there. Next time we will be a little more demanding. We deserve a good meal in exchange for the price.
Worth the wait on the drive to redwood national park! Locally caught fish was great and had a very generous side of fries to go with it. The crab sandwich though pricey, was really good.

Quality has really declined. Used to be my mom's favorite place to have breakfast, not anymore. Last few times we have eatn there we have been very dissatisfied. *Hot crab sandwich= low amount of crab and flavor was giving "hot mayo". I also like my crab sandwiches to have some nice chunks of crab but it was all very small shreds. *Fries= lukewarm and not crispy. They make large amounts ahead of time and then leave them in a bowl under the heat lamp. *French dip= tastes and looks like very low quality meat. Flavor was super bland *Mimosa= just as good as always ;)

Side salad was great! Not just iceberg. Mixed Spring with baby corns, beets, garbonzo beans, kidney beans, & carrots. Captains Platter was delicious! Patio dining was so nice. Staff was great. There is a window out on the patio you can buy whole crabs &/or a half pound (or full lb) crab meat. We almost didn't go there because we wanted crab and didn't see it on the menu. Beer battered Onion Rings!! I forgot to take a photo of the Captains Platter. Looking forward to eating here again when back in town.
