Good food and good service. We were looking for an Indian restaurant in Folsom and someone recommended it to try. A big group of us met after so long and had a great lunch here. The only issue was that the air conditioning wasn't working.

This was our first time trying out this place and it was flavorful. Starting with the pros:-large portions-great balance of spice and flavor-somewhat clean-bright and open-lentil soups and sauce were hot and delicious -masala myapore dosa and biryani were tastyCons:-the only 1 working on the floor was this guy who seemed to be busy. At one point, there were 3 tables including us that had no food on the table.-bc the guy was by himself he seemed rushed and impatient, and we didn't get clarity on the items especially since they weren't described in English.-chicken had a ton of bones (see pic) we had to eat slowly to not crack a tooth :-/-the thali items are discontinued so it might be good to remove them from the menu and also the humongous poster advertising it!-lastly the bathroom sink area had the paper towels sitting on the sink (see pic) getting soaked which did not seem sanitary. Maybe with some changes, I can give this place another shot. Those were the main things. Overall, I enjoyed the Dosa the most along with the masala tea!

I liked this place before when I tried couple of times, but the quality of food has gone down way low recently. Ordered to-go for egg kothu parotta and cauliflower 65, tasted so badly and it was very salty as well. Hope they will improve the food quality sooner.

Arrived by 2:55pm on a saturday. Had a plus one and we were looking forward to eat here. The employer told us to leave and that dine in is closed. There sign was still open for business and at least 6 tables of people still dining in. Their website mentioned they close at 10pm. Everyone that were dining in speak the dialect and look like middle eastern people. Rude service and felt that they refuse our service because we are asian. Don't eat here if you don't look the part. Although take out was highly encouraged. But we are not interested.

I don’t understand how people still go there! There is only one person for both to take orders and to serve food, He is always rude no matter whenever we go, he is treating customers as though we are begging for food there, we are paying money for our food they are not giving us free food right! then they should treat customers with some respect! And I think only shameless people can eat there. The place was not welcoming, no air conditioning, zero hygiene, I never had food there so I cant comment about the food, we just left when that man spoke to us disrespectfully, we already went there once before, he did the same, I thought he might be exhausted but he did the same when we went for 2nd time as well. There are lot more restaurants who are more welcoming and serves good food! This restaurant and the man working there is a disgrace to the entire Indian community.

Ordered Mutton kottu parota to go. Not very tasty. Significantly small portion. They gave it in a small to go box that is usually used for sides :)Restaurant floor and the tables were not clean when I entered. I felt that it might be reflecting the quality of the food.Anyway as a risk taker I went ahead with the order. LolThe guy at the counter was nice.

This is my to go place and I love the food. My favorite is mutton biriyani and it's available during weekends. As of May-30-2021 they have not fully opens for in person dining. ( they do serve if you ask) but mostly to go orders. Waiting for the in person service to resume and May go again for Dosa night. The service I received from Mr. Tamil was so good.
Customer service is very bad. My 6 year old kid was thirsty and I asked the employee for water. He said he couldn't give water buy the soda for yourself. I told him I don't give my kid soda. He didn't care. He is very rude. Taking so long for food too. I wanted to tell owner you shouldn't hire those kind of employee. You are doing business in Folsom that mean you have to do higher standard business

The food was ok and it was not stale and old. For me that is the criteria these days. Nothing great in terms of flavor. The place is disgustingly dirty and there were mosquitoes too wanting to check the food off of my plate. The places smells heavily of meat and for some people that can be bothersome. I don't expect any politeness and courtesy at Indian places anyways so I wasn't disappointed as it is totally missing.

Service was terrible…Waiting times were really long and the waiter wasn’t very friendly. We had asked for something on the menu and they told they didn’t have it anymore which isn’t a problem but the waiter was very rude about it. When we asked a question he didn’t answer and yelled “look on the menu!” The place seems to be understaffed and overall not a very good atmosphere. Half the things on the menu were crossed out and weren’t even available! We wish that they would have been kinder or atleast apologetic.

I went there for lunch but I went to restroom for washing my hands…very unhygienic bathroom, no paper then we decided not to eat anymore we just left without having food..They should work on their cleanliness

Came here with high expectations... but everything we tried to order they didn't have on the menu, apparently it was "cancelled" no tea, no lassi, barely any entrees, we had to settle for Samosa, a dosa and a soda...
