We haven't been to Hacienda Del Rio in years. I chose it, ignoring the reviews, because it was open on Monday, was a convenient location for people coming from different areas to meet, and we'd had good food in the past. We were extremely happy with the choice! We got happy hour prices in the restaurant seating and all the food was excellent!! I had the shrimp fajitas and WOW... nicely marinated and plentiful. Others had salmon fajitas, Chile verde, and a marinated beef taco salad....read full review
We had a post wedding breakfast this past Sunday at this restaurant. Wanted to meet with visiting family before they traveled back East. There was 14 of us on the outside patio. The food and service was excellent. The Patio looks over Sutter and Riley streets. We really enjoyed ourselves!

The food wasn't great. We ordered a carne asada taco salad based upon pics we saw online and it looked like some nice pieces of meat. When we got it it didn't look so great and the meat did not taste good. Seemed a little overcooked or something
