I really tried giving this bakery a shot, but time after time they continue to poorly execute proper business practices. Though the older ladies are so kind, it's not enough to justify how poorly this store is run. There have been multiple times where I've gone in in the morning and their pandesal (bread) was still not ready, two hours after they've been opened. Not to mention the turon I prepaid and pre-ordered for a specific time, but still had to wait almost an hour for it to be ready. What's even more unacceptable is the blatant disregard for food safety. I bought puto (rice cake pastry) one evening, only to find it dotted with mold the very next morning. Went to the store to get a refund and found that they had moldy puto on display to sell on the counter. Not okay.

If you want the best burrito, try Taco Tio. If you have extra money to throw away, come to Kalahi.

Rated C on their window I was there Jan 4, 2020 Disgusting. If you are rated C by the Dept of Health this only means that 10 -12 corrections are cited. Please, do not go or buy food in Fontana branch, might get sick or worst.

The best turon hands down. Nice friendly always smiling service. Always fresh food. This place is highly recommended.

Caters to more traditional Filipino bake goods and food. They make really good banana turon. Good customer service.

For years we've patronize this business, was so happy when they were in Island Pacific supermarket, unfortunately they had to move when Island closed, it's a bit farther, but I go out of my way to get Empanadas and Turon, they also have cooked food now, taste pretty good

We always order our turon and puto here for Pacquiao fight parties and I'm never disappointed. Fast, efficient, and delicious. Would recommend to order a day in advance as they have multiple orders coming in.

One of my co worker who isn't a Filipino opened the empanada and found a bug. I called them and sent a picture. Kalahi said it's onion. Then why does it have 2 antenna and tny little feet? I'm not after free food or my money back. I just want them to improve their way if handling and preparing their food. It was very embarrassing for me at work. I was told by Kalahi to bring the empanada with the buflg. I don't get off work intil 8 and it's too far. They don't believe me but judge for yoursel

If you have never had turon, this is the place to try it at!

Hello new owners‍ Tried recommending this location to some coworkers.....but they couldn't find this business location on Google (only found on Yelp) when searching "Filipino food near me" this location does not appear. Even searching "Filipino bakery" nothing shows up on Google. I recommended they look up Adobo Express since it's the same address... not sure what happened in this situation but just a fyi. Got some hot, fresh pan de sal that everyone loved ! Good alternative spot to Seafood City and much closer to get treats.

Ordered Turon on Christmas Day for a pickup at 11am and got there with a long line of angry customers. Most of them had orders for 9am and we're still waiting. Long and short, we decided to buy Buko pies Instead. We've experienced the same system over in the past and I thought they smartened up since then. They should be ready to step up their game during high peak seasons. Hope they grow and improve on this feedback. Turons are good but they're completely missing out on their true potential if they fail to address their working issues.
