“Best fish & chips I've ever had, hands down. The fish was FRESH and falling apart in my hands, and being battered & fried didn't hide the taste at all like it sometimes can. It came with tartar sauce and malt vinegar, and thick fries like steak fries. Our group was starving after our Skunk Train outing and this really hit the spot. Loved the outdoor seating (the smells of the fire pit & ocean together brought back happy beach camping memories) and several little kids in our seating area were thrilled & delighted by the pushy seagulls begging for scraps, which was fun to watch. Five happy stars from me. :)”

“Tall Guy Brewing is hands down the most enjoyable sit down/lounging family friendly brewery in All of California(not an understatement). The music, kindness of the bartenders and relaxed environment formulates the absolutely perfect evening place for my son and I to sit down, have dinner, listen to music and make new friends. I would love to see such a magical place expand in any way possible. The world needs more of this.”

“The staff was amazing and the ice cream is THE best. They smell of waffle cones as you enter the door makes your mouth water, for good reason! You know it's good stuff when the line stretches onto the street. Very busy place and well worth the wait. Absolutely something you don't want to miss out on!! “KUDOS to the staff of La Playa!!! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff so very friendly. We had a large group of 40 with most being youth. The staff were so patient with our group and bottom line were just amazing. I have experienced our group with larger restaurants and La Playa blew them out of the water - the food and service top notch! When my family come to the area La Playa will be a stop for sure, and should we bring our youth group back this will for sure be on the agenda! Thank you all, from Ernesto to the wait staff to the cooks! THANK YOU ALL!”

“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.”

“Got the monkey blended drink which was amazing. Never thought I would like banana and coffee so much. The lady working was nice and friendly. We got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time. Great place to stop and try something more unique to the area.

“Nice mexican/seafood place in the harbor. Generous portions. Offer to go as well, which is convenient for beach picnic watching the sea lions. Parking is limited but so is everywhere else in the harbor district. Would eat here again.

“This place is absolutely a hidden gem, and the owner was lovely and accommodating in making everything vegan for us. The lemongrass coconut soup was ridiculously good, like seriously the best soup I've ever had. I don't usually like vegetable pieces in the soup but they were cooked perfectly and so buttery were ordered another soup to go because we couldn't stop eating it ? It felt like being in a cosy home kitchen eating food that mom used to make. I would come back in a heartbeat if I'm ever in the area again ?

“I found this spot and many were recommending the raspberry danish which was so delicious. I already had my coffee but they have so many choices for a delicious Italian soda. My husband enjoyed his hot chocolate and the ham,cheese and jalapeño danish. Nice and spicy. They have gluten-free options available as well. I’d definitely stop there again and if they were near my workplace in Oakland, those danishes would be on order frequently. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I enjoyed Fort Bragg and your bakery. I definitely recommend stopping here to enjoy some delicious treats and drinks.”
