The food was decent tasting but with a big downfall. It was all only lukewarm. I was craving a nice hot cup of soup, and I got soup that was slightly warmer than room temperature. The panini was cooked just enough to melt the cheese but not enough to make anything hot. The temperature of the food is a big reason for us not to return. The turkey sandwich was good, but only one slice of bacon and three big tomato slices, which made it unbalanced in taste. The overall restaurant was clean.

I work at a local Fountain Valley business and my employer orders Corner Bakery about three times a week. Every single order we've received for AT LEAST the last year has had at least one error. Items are left out, food is prepared incorrectly, you can bank on there being at least one flaw in every order. (Today the Chopped Salad was missing both chicken and avocado! Awesome.) I have yet to figure out why my employer continues to order from this place. I, for one, am exhausted hearing about how Corner Bakery screwed up again, knowing that my boss will be ordering again in a couple days.

i come here very often NOT once I have I ever dealt with management that are so rude to staff! The cashier helped he was such a sweet heart and I feel so bad for him Having to take crap from a shitty as manager! The time I sat there waiting for my food she kept bickering at him telling him he is so annoying, it's to early to deal with him (talking about how chipper and happy he is)! Mahmood greeted every single customer that walked in and was patient offered extra assistance! Something that is very hard to find now days! They have a tip Jar I bypassed that and gave him to tip directly and apologized for having to deal with that type of management!

I wish i could get my money back .. 18$ for a half grilled cheese and tomato soup . The grilled cheese was inedible. It had slimy brown spinach and an old tomato on it . The only good part of the meal was the side of garlic bread . Very disappointed

My wife and I really like Corner Bakery. We were going to eat at the CB in the South Coast Plaza, but when we arrived at the mall, we found out that they went out of business We decided to visit the CB in Fountain Valley. We were not disappointed. The cashier was very nice to us. We also had a very nice lady bring our food to us. That doesn't happen at most CBs'. The restaurant was very clean and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back to the Corner Bakery soon,(even though it is farther away).Here are some photos of our entrees...We had the bananas foster pancakes with bacon and the scrambler.

Just had a very enjoyable lunch experience at this Corner Bakery Cafe. had the 2 in 1 (Broccoli Cheddar soup and Caprese Panini) and it was fresh and delicious. The place was clean, staff friendly and what I loved most, offered a spotless Women's bathroon, along with an all-gender option beside it :)

Corner Bakery has now declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. So this apparently explains the refusal to buy or fix their broken latte machine. My thinking is, if they want to truly save their company, either take care of the locations they have and give good service and food, or close down the ones they need to to survive. This Fountain Valley location one isn't doing the company any favors with a permanently broken latte machine and very long waits on poor quality food. I remember Corner Bakery as it was 20 years ago, and it's a sad commentary on corporatization.
