I was craving Asian food and looked up a place in the area close enough for a drive down PCH afterwards. I'm really happy that I tried Mai Thai Restaurant for the first time. We ordered the Glass Noodle Salad minus the shrimp and the Pepper Steak with garlic.First off, the glass noodle salad was super tasty! Good place to have Thai food, clean, good customer service. Crab fried rice is very good, large portion. One thing scares me about Thai food is some places prepare it too sweet or too greasy.Not at all at Mai Thai. Nice people. I am glad it is in my neighborhood

It was pretty good! I'm not a tai food person. It tends to be way too spicy, or almost no spice at all! There was a lot of ginger flavor, (fresh ginger) but not much else to balance it out! The steak wasn't bad for what it was, but again not thrilled with spices. They were very watered down tasting. And wasn't a good balance for me. But again, I'm not a Thai connoisseur!
