“Delicious and Fresh! Every dish at Garam Mirchi tastes homemade with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. The paneer fried rice and the Hakka noodles had a great smoky flavor. Definitely recommended!”
“This spot is spotlessly clean and serves great‑tasting food. Ingredients are fresh, and portions are very generous. I really appreciate being able to customize my toppings. The staff are friendly and efficient. I end up eating here twice a week, and parking is convenient too.”
“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.”
“Stopped by Sushi Ken and was welcomed with complimentary edamame, a nice touch to start things off. Ordered the Spicy Lover sushi and it was great, exactly the right level of heat and I enjoyed it so much I ordered a second set to take home.
That's where the consistency issue comes in. The to-go order didn't have nearly as much heat as the one I had at the restaurant, which was disappointing. When something is that good you want it to be the same every time. I'd urge the restaurant to stay consistent across dine-in and to-go orders because the gap was noticeable.
Service was quick and my server was friendly throughout. The dine-in experience was solid overall and I'll definitely be back. Just hope they sort out the consistency issue because the Spicy Lover when done right is absolutely worth ordering again and again.”
“I had the best lamb shank (Quran Lamb) I have ever had. My wife had the chicken kabob, which was good as well. We tried the Firni (cardamom-infused pudding), a wonderful flavor combo I have never had before. We did take out, but the dining in looks nice and comfortable. This place just opened in September 2025. You will be happy if you give it a try.”

“Authentic flavors, high-quality meat, and a great sauce bar. The soup base is rich and deep. Everything was fresh and the service was fast. Easily one of the best hotpot spots in town!”
“Everyone needs to come support this burger spot the food is delicious and the desserts, including the milkshakes are great. Very attentive employees. My family and I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience overall at this restaurant. This is not a chain restaurant but it's owned by a local business woman who is dedicated to her her?”
“Cozy little cafe in a quiet mall corner serving absolutely delicious crepes and Eastern European dishes. Went there for a family brunch and everyone was very happy with their meal. The blini and cabbage rolls were wonderful, and the garden crepe was spectacular. We will definitely be back soon!”

“we've been 3 times in the past few months and every time was great. we went the day after my wife's birthday, the same day our pet passed, and the staff made it a very special experience and distraction from our loss. absolutely recommend 110%. great food, great people, great experience overall.”

“Really enjoyed my visit to Zingsters. The food was fresh and tasty, and the customer service was excellent. Naveed, who took our order, was very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout. I also really appreciated that they have a place for customers to pray Salah (Namaz), which was a nice touch. Great food, great service, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Picked up two today uncooked to take home 250 miles away. Cooked them exactly how they said and they were amazing!!!! Thanks guys, I’ve missed your pizza!!”
“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”

“I have been here many times - this is my favorite coffee shop in the Bay. Has the best latte drinks I've ever had, especially the seasonal ones (my favorite is the cookie butter at winter time). Great and friendly service - the baristas are very accommodating. Only thing is I haven't particularly enjoyed any of the food items I've had. But overall highly recommend this place, this is a perfect spot to chat or get work done (free wifi).”
“This is genuinely one of the most neighborly locations in the whole Bay. Food is amazing, I have been going here every Saturday, and unlike the corporate fast food slop, this place actually has good ingredients, and would even let me off a few cents when I was at my low. Portion size is great, with my garlic fries filled to the brim, and their ghost pepper sauce is to die for. Food gets ready pretty quick, within 10 mins and very rarely going over. Atmosphere is great with a nice outdoor seating and a good view of the hills. Always will find people eating on the outdoor tables.”
“Reliable, amazing, accessible food. Great banchan, good Korean food. Super homey.
A bit pricey but portions are good and it’ll feed you for multiple days.”

“I only write reviews when it’s super good or super bad. My only regret is that I didn’t come to this place sooner! Super fresh, tasty, handmade food at peak of authenticity. What a hidden gem in Fremont. With this place around, I don’t need to go to Korea for such good food!
Just note it opens 7am-3pm.”
“Very refined modern takes on Japanese food. The food is first class, service is great, and love the sake! Considering the incredible quality of the food, the price is very reasonable. If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. Definitely recommend Soho for those looking for great, and non-typical Japanese food.”
“Highly recommended! They give a generous portion of green onions and cilantro. The soup base is rich‑flavored yet not greasy. I ordered their signature beef stew noodles, which are well‑balanced nutritionally.
There are lots of custom options: noodle types, texture, spiciness and numbing spice level. You can also hold the green onions if you prefer.
It tastes just like comforting home‑style Chinese food. My kid cannot handle spicy food, so I ordered the non‑spicy version.”
“food is delicious. staff is so friendly and so supportive. They have the best vegetarian food in bay area.. I would recommend everyone who read this message to try at least once...I have done catering from this place and owner and staff have done great job...good job guys keep it up..GOD BLESS”
“We came here after reading the reviews. And we enjoyed the place, service , owner Young Nausheen’s personal attention.
We loved loved, Indonesian fried chicken, super surprised with taste of Korean tacos and classic best Rogan Gosht in Town. We also ordered malai chicken. A must must place to visit. We will be definitely repeating”
“This is meant to be a takeout restaurant that has some seating indoors. The food came out exceptionally fast and was amazingly delicious. I used to come to this place for takeout, when I lived in fremont, glad to see that the place is still in business and still printing out outstanding product. The family that runs the place is amazing, hard-working and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend them, please, and we'll be back again!”
“This cozy breakfast spot specializes in Shanghainese comforts. Service is brisk and no-nonsense. We ordered a few staples — wontons, noodle soups and xiaolongbao — all of them competent and satisfying.
The pork kidney noodle soup is a rarity in the United States, though here the kidney is cut thick and left unstir-fried, so it contributes less flavor to the broth than it could. It is better treated almost as a side than as an integral part of the soup. The xiaolongbao are tasty, if more rustic in appearance than the finely pleated versions served at more polished places like Din Tai Fung.
Still, this is an honest, unfussy restaurant well worth returning to.”
“wonderful food and service- delightful date night deliciousness.”

“Alicia and her team are amazing! I hate that I didn’t catch the name of the kind woman who took my order because she deserves recognition too. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The food was great, and the service made the experience even better!”
“Fast service, easy QR code ordering, and good menu selection. Fun atmosphere that matches the karaoke next door. The food itself is okay - not bad but also nothing special. The lamb skewers were seasoned nicely but didn’t exactly nail the grill/texture resulting in some unexpected chewiness. eggplant’s was super garlicky - definitely get rice to balance it out. noodle soup was okay but not worth a repeat visit.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Today I visited and ordered Paneer Butter Masala, Shahi Paneer, and medium-sized Desi Garlic Sticks. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor and for dine in .
I would especially like to appreciate Kaur, who was managing the store around 3:37 PM and she was alone at that time .I am very happy about her .Literally this is honest review about her.She was very sweet, polite, and handled everything so professionally. She was working very hard to manage the store and served customers with a smile despite being busy. Her excellent customer service made our visit even more enjoyable.
Thank you, Kaur, for your dedication and kindness. Keep up the great work!”
“Having enjoyed their dishes many times for months, It’s beyond “Very Satisfying”! Excellent, delicious food! Quality well maintained although it is a hard time under C-19. Hygiene suggestions n requests well followed! Thanks 🙏 Customer Service outstanding! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍”
“Delicious burgers with options to suit all tastes. They have beef, chicken, and veggie patties as well as some without Pakistani spices for picky eaters like my daughter. They also have loaded quesadillas with fries and their signature spicy sauce which are amazing. They also have a good variety of shakes. We’ve had the mango and the Oreo Never Boreo.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Curry Pizza House on Fremont Blvd is such a unique and delicious spot! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with an exciting fusion of classic pizza and bold Indian-inspired flavors. The toppings were generous, the crust had a great texture, and every bite was packed with flavor. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient. A fantastic place to try something different and enjoy a satisfying meal. Definitely a 5-star experience—highly recommended! 🍕✨⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
“Great experience at Zhangfei Hot Pot! The food was fresh and delicious, with a great variety of meats, vegetables, and other hot pot options. Everything came out quickly and was nicely presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great spot for hot pot, especially if you’re hungry. Will be back again!”

“This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. I first discovered their incredible food when they were Tony’s Tacos, and I was thrilled when they moved to Papa Nachos while keeping the same outstanding quality and unforgettable flavors.
The meats are always top quality, the vegetables freshly prepared, and every bite is packed with flavor. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back for more.
Papa Nachos was the perfect stop during our RV road trip. A big thank you to Oscar and the entire Papa Nachos team for the delicious food and exceptional service. We can’t wait to come back!”

“Yummy Taiwanese style sandwiches. I guess this style might not be for everyone but I really like the slight sweetness and how soft the bread is in Taiwanese breakfast sandwiches. I always get the signature which has ham egg and sausage. The cucumbers and mayo add a nice freshness. I also tried the taro pork floss sandwich which I enjoyed because I love taro. Definitely super nostalgic of when I go to Taiwan.”
“One of the few authentic Korean restaurants in the Bay Area that doesn't skimp on the food! The Seolleongtang is delicious, but the Dogani Seolleongtang is incomparably rich and savory. The Doenjang Bibimbap truly deserves to be called a signature dish. I would also like to thank the staff for always treating customers with bright smiles and sincerity.”
“This place surprised us. We’re very picky when it comes to Filipino food because we’re always looking for that taste of home. The dishes we ordered reminded me of home-cooked meals you’d find in every Filipino household — comforting, familiar, and made with love. Every bite felt nostalgic and instantly brought me back home.
The prices might be a little higher compared to other places I usually go to, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality, flavor, and the feeling of home the food brings.”
“It was my first time and I had a good hype for this place from my Asian friends. This place was packed on a weekend and I heard they are busy most weekends. The place is cozy and we had to wait 15 mins to get a table. Their service is friendly and quick. We got the bbq fish which is this location famous for. I have to say I was surprised by the size and quantity. It was a big fish and good for 3 to 4 people. Though the fish was big it was mostly bones and their broth was spicy and sour with ample of veggies. We got Jasmine rice to go with it and it was good. The fish was fresh and the broth was soothing. We also got complimentary Ube dessert. Overall had a nice time and will definitely come back to try out their other dishes.”
“Had carne asada tacos, they were really tasty. The meat was super tender and not overcooked. Taco shells were good (a little on the greasy side for me but that’s kind of expected with tacos). And I really liked the salsa compared to most trucks. Will definitely be coming back”
“Absolutely amazing food! I am surprised this place does not have a huge line. The burnt ends were incredible and the prices weren’t bad at all. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. He makes everything fresh so it is absolutely worth the short wait!! Unfortunately I did not get to try his lemonade because it was sold out but I will definitely be back to try it next time.”

“Food is by far superb! A must try and check out the place. Food is C delicious you will love it and waiters are extra friendly”
“New taqueria inside a Shell gas station! I know what you're thinking, gas station food? I was a little hesitant too but this place surprised us.
They serve up fresh tacos, burritos, quesadillas, burrito bowls, nachos, and even TOTCHOS! Yes, tater tot nachos! What's even cooler is that it's Chipotle style, where you can customize your toppings. GET THE CHIPOTLE TORTILLA! This made such a huge difference in flavor for our burrito. They also have spinach, tomato and traditional tortillas to choose from.
I heard their breakfast burritos (served all day) are really good, so I definitely want to go back and try one of those next time.

“My goto Shanghai restaurant over the past 7 years. It’s very hard to find good “Su” style noodle in the Bay Area. This place brings back my home town memories.”

“Had an amazing lunch at Naga's Kitchen! Ordered the biryani, coriander paneer masala, and masala chaas - and honestly, I'm still thinking about that meal.
The coriander paneer masala was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were so authentic and rich, it instantly reminded me of the incredible paneer dishes I had in Hyderabad. You can tell they really know what they're doing in the kitchen - the spices were perfectly balanced and the paneer was so tender.
The masala chaas was such a nice touch too. It had that nostalgic, comforting taste that reminded me of the refreshing drinks you get at railway stations during long train journeys. Simple but so satisfying.
The biryani was fragrant and flavorful. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon - this place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Indian flavors.”

“The best stake I ever had ,
The chef is Italian and this is a family business so of course he will take care for every single chop of meat he will buy and cook.”
“The owner was incredibly friendly, and the hospitality was wonderful! As a Korean, I’m always looking for authentic Korean restaurants, and this was definitely one of them. The tteokbokki was rich and flavorful, tasted just like the kind I had back home, such a nostalgic treat! We also asked last minute if we could add noodles to our tteokbokki, and she kindly accommodated our request. The galbi and banchan was amazing too. Everything was delicious, and we had such a great experience. Definitely recommend!”
“absolutely the best sushi I've had in a long time! the staff is super friendly, I will definitely be going back!”
“Oh my goodness, I wish I lived near this place. I want to try everything on the menu! It was so good, a little bit busy but you can see why once you get one bite of food. 10 out of 10 for sure. The drinks were strong, and the service was great, we had a nice Mexican gal who was very accommodating and super friendly. I wish I remembered her name. Definitely give this place a try.”
“It's small, so the wait for a dine in table can take a bit, but the food quality is worth the wait. Our family has loved everything we have tried. this is one of a handful of local restaurants my 10 year old some will never complain about!”
“Such a special and wonderful restaurant! You’ll get the chance to try the tasty food and also enjoy live music! 🎶 This is my go-to restaurant now. We also hosted our alumni events here and got tons of positive feedback! 🎉”
“Great Breakfast. Best place. Service is fantastic. Love this place. Always go there when we are in area. Nothing compares. One of a kind”
“★★★★★ Amazing ambience and incredible value! The cozy, private booths and beautiful oriental decorations hanging from the ceiling create a perfectly cute and slightly romantic vibe. Ordering is super easy right from the table via an iPad app, and the service was phenomenal.
The food is reasonably priced and delicious. We got the beef skewers (a little spicy) and loved the spicy green beans so much we literally ordered five rounds of them! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience that gives you great bang for your buck.”
“Best noodle place we’ve ever Ben to. Quaint but great.”
“Best food ever great service been to all three highly recommended 😋5 star's definitely”
“Great food, large portions at a great price. Has a mix of foods, Thai and crepes. Aa to the crepes they have combinations I’ve not seen before, i.e. Indian inspired. Staff are very pleasant. Offers indoor and outdoor seating.”
“Amazing pizza and great service! The crust was fresh and perfectly cooked, the toppings were delicious, and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and welcoming, Definitely a great place for pizza, and I’ll be coming back again!”
“Good food, close to Kolkata taste but sorshe ilish was not good at all. Rest are nice. Misti doi is awesome- must try”
“Mr. Lau's Steak House (劉月鐵板.居酒屋) provides authentic Taiwanese-style steak meal, which left me feeling happy after eating it. The set meal includes black pepper rib eye steak (8 ounces, medium rare), lettuce salad, garlic bread, an egg, and spaghetti. The price is so inexpensive and the meal is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back again and again!”
“This place has quickly become my favorite place to go to. My favorites are the rib eye and New York steak with a mixed sauce. The meat is high quality, rib eye is juicy and tender and the New York has the special beef texture I am looking for. The side dishes are great and the portion is big. I also like the finger foods like fish cake tempura and popcorn chicken, highly recommend them with cold beer if you are over 21!”
“Carlos was absolutely AMAZING! Our visit was on a VERY busy Friday night, and despite how busy it was, he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We had a party of 6, so we were constantly needing something, but Carlos never forgot about us. Every time he passed our table, he checked in to see if we needed anything, and we never went without breadsticks!
He truly made our experience so much better. By far one of the best servers we’ve had! Carlos deserves a RAISE! 👏🏼 He’s a great example of what amazing customer service should look like. Thank you, Carlos, for making our night so enjoyable!”
“The service was also excellent. From ordering and delivery to the on-site arrangement, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Communication was easy, and they were very responsive to our needs, which made the whole event stress-free and enjoyable.
The ingredients were very fresh, and you can really tell they have high quality standards”
“Such a great experience. The ramen and mazemen were packed with flavor, the chicken karaage was amazing, and the dessert was the perfect finish. Everything was fresh, delicious, and worth trying. Highly recommend”
“The food is incredible—truly authentic Shanghainese cuisine! As someone who has been away from home for years, the flavors brought back so many wonderful memories and made me feel nostalgic. The staff are also incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back soon!”
“We spontaneously stopped in when we were craving dumplings, what a surprising gem! The food was very fresh and flavorful. We ordered:
- Beef potstickers
- Steamed red oil chicken wonton
- Wonton soup (chicken)
- BBQ pork buns (steamed)
Genuinely surprised at how casually delicious and great the food, as well as the service, was!”
“It was our first time to go to this restaurant. The food was good, cooked fresh and hot. We liked the food very much and our server was wonderful. Looking forward to go again. #vegnchatcuisine #papihanandy #review #fremont #california #vegetarian #chholebhature #thali #vegthali #restaurant”
“Chi Xiao Guo seems to be gone. Now it’s Liu Yue Teppanyaki Cuisine. They don’t sell hot pot in summer, but the Teppanyaki cuisine is also delicious. It’s very similar to the signature Teppanyaki Noodles at Taiwan’s night markets. Love! Definitely will come again : )”
“Had an excellent experience at Hungry Cow! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's hard to find anything to complain about because everything was done so well.
Overall, an outstanding dining experience. No complaints at all—just great food, great service, and great value. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hungry Cow to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Ristorante Il Porcino is a wonderful place for a fantastic Italian dining experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavors. The presentation was beautiful, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Every part of the meal was enjoyable. “An absolute gem off of Mowry in a shopping center. Absolutely amazing rolls, oysters and beer. Staff are great and treat you very well. Worth the stop every time”
“Honestly just amazing. I got the pad thai and it was so flavorful, really hit the spot. The curry was also super good and my friend practically licked the bowl clean. Totally going back soon, this place is a real treat.”
“Amazing taste ! Loved the presentation ! I ordered Two tier cake- bottom vanilla cake with Nutella cream cheese Top tier chocolate cake with Nutella cream cheese ! Mouth watering taste.”
“I have tried the pho and beef stew at both the Fremont and the San Jose location, and while they were fine, neither really stood out to me.
The standout is the 1/2 chicken with crispy rice and a fried egg. When the Fremont location first opened, I felt the portion size was noticeably smaller than at the San Jose location. However, I returned about a week ago and was pleasantly surprised by how generous the serving had become. It’s easily large enough to share or take home for another meal.
The crispy rice had the perfect texture, the fried egg was jammy, and the chicken was flavored well. The sauce leans slightly sweeter than savory, but I found it worked really well.
To finish the meal, they served a complimentary slice of their green waffle. My mom and I enjoyed it so much that I asked if they sold them separately and ended up buying a whole one to go.
One thing to keep in mind is that this location closes between 2:00-5:00PM. As someone who prefers eating an early dinner, I’ve wanted to stop by several times only to realize they were closed, so plan accordingly.”
“This is our go to place for korean food in Fremont for years. The food has been consistently good. We always order beef bulgogi & tofu soup combo for our family. We love the beef bulgogi. It has sweet savory sauce with tender beef. The tofu soup can be hit or miss. We got seafood white soup (not spicy) for our kiddo - it was good but I personally prefer medium spice for more depth of flavor.
The only downside was the parking. The parking was limited and got crowded during lunch or dinner time. So, most of the time we parked on the street nearby or we just do take out.”
“Kinda my favorite place til recently. Waiter F’d blamed me. 4 dined, we gave our order. 1 person changed their order, so 3 meals ended up being the same, then there was mine. They ended changing my order instead of the other person, he argued with me until he realized he messed up, never said sorry, and then still got my order wrong by cook my salmon well instead of veggies, which they forgot to add, but I paid anyways, to go.”
“We visited this place for dinner and were able to get a table without reservations. The food was delicious, we got the chicken lollipop, chicken manchow soup and the triple schezwan fried rice which came with Manchurian and gravy. Indo-Chinese food here is definitely a must-try. We also got the sizzling brownie sundae which hit all the right spots! Will definitely visit again!”
“la mas Buena pizza 🍕 The best pizza like never never lik this for real”
“Loved the sushi here - the fish is high quality, price is good for the quality of the fish, and the ambiance is nice: clean, spacious and brightly lit.
Highly recommend the omakase: 10 pieces for $46. The presentation of the nigiri was excellent and it was all delicious.”
“So good! The food was super flavorful and tasted really authentic. Perfect balance of spicy and numbing — exactly what I was craving. The crispy chicken and peppercorn fish were amazing!
Service was friendly and quick, and everyone was really nice. Great spot for Sichuan food — will definitely be back!”
“Stopped by today on recommendation that their bolani is delicious, and it definitely did not disappoint. This place is now under new management. Service was pleasant the interior remodeled. Place is clean with smiles all over. Will be back again very soon.”
“The seafood salad here was delicious, and the salmon skin was baked to a perfect crisp – it was fantastic!
The bento box took a little longer to arrive, but the salmon was grilled perfectly, although the tempura was cold .
Service is friendly and fast !”
“I really think this is a great hotpot restaurant, especially if you like spicy food. The food quality is also very good. Honestly think it deserves more recognition!”
“Delicious and authentic Chinese food with very reasonable price! Liangpi (Cold Sesame Noodles), Salt and Pepper Pork Ribs and fish fillets are top notches. The other dishes are also tasty as well.”
“Today we said a sad goodbye to the last Fremont Resident of the Williams Family😞 Pops was so loved and appreciated and it showed today at his services ,though I didn’t go to the burial for the fact of I couldn’t see my Best Friends Frankie’s Ashes being buried with his Father & I find out after that they didn’t lower the casket until everyone was gone 😞I did go to Coaches today and ALL I kept finding myself doing was looking for Pops or waiting for him to walk in as that is where I would always meet him rather if it was for him to get in on my football pools or to change the motor for his windows of his Mercedes or some type of work to his car no matter what it was for that was where you could always find Pops with his hotspot papers in one hand a a cold Bud Light in the other 🥃cheers 🥂to you Pops your going to be missed by so many as you already are love you Please give my love to Mom Kevin and my brother Frankie 🙏🏽🙏🏽 RIP Frank Williams Jr.”
“Wow. Why only 2.4 stars ? They must of just opened cause this is way better than wing stop. it was so good my god my tastebuds just had an orgasm ! Yes I’ll be coming back if the food stays fresh like that !!! Gotta wipe my mouth ? lord.”
“Met my cousins at Johnny's for an after party. I didn't have any drinks but we did dance. The place seemed really nice, remodeled. The DJ was good! They had security and cameras which I liked. I'd definitely go back.”
“Really good and friendly service! Can’t ask for anything more”
“I rarely write reviews but this is an absolute gem - very cozy neighborhood spot in Fremont. I’ve lived in major cities (SF, NYC, London) and eaten a lot of Japanese food - and the quality of the food here is on par if not better.
Very friendly nice staff. Anna started a convo and they’ve been open 30 years, old fashioned style (no food delivery hustle and bustle). She seems close with other customers (asking about and congratulating re: college admissions).
The food was homestyle but also polished for great value- $30 for 3 item dinner combo comes with soup and salad, $3 extra for chirashi appetizer. Veggies with the grilled items were a nice touch, and the rice was cooked well.
Will definitely become a regular spot, it should become one of yours too!”
“Stopped by Mom’s Tofu House and had a really good experience. The food was fresh, comforting, and full of flavor, with the tofu dishes especially standing out.
The place has a cozy, casual atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Great spot for a warm and satisfying Korean meal”
“Amazing place for yakitori food, chef Sherman really knows quality and simplicity for yakitori food. I highly recommend this place especially when you get togethers with great friends. 5 stars out of 5”
“Many coworkers recommended this place that made authentic Biryani. The flavors were great and had us eat through our entire meal even when we were feeling full half through. Looking forward to coming back to try other options! Attentive service and lively atmosphere given we dined in during lunch time.”
“We visited for the first time Labor Day September 2026. My husband and I are staying at the residence Inn. But we walked next-door to the restaurant at Marriott. We were looking for something close to get dinner. When we walked in, it was quiet, elegant, and spacious. The attendant took our order and was very friendly and courteous. We had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and the turkey avocado sandwich with romaine salad. The food was delicious. And the environment welcoming. I would visit again and would recommend.”
“We came for our 30th anniversary while Strizzi's is celebrating it's 40th, so we got soup and salad gratis. Not just a cup or a small salad but full blown servings. My clam chowder was among the best I ever had. The food was great - we had the lasagna and spaghetti with (3 big) meatballs. Our server, Jawad, was among the friendliest ever, and took the time to chat and take our picture. A lot of servers do that, but he was just a wonderfully friendly guy. Get there and see if he will serve you before he gets through college! We had not heard of this place before and took a flyer. Big score!”
“Great food! Love ❤️ all that we ordered. And the bubble teas, too”
“The best grilled chicken ever....never dry! the garlic sauce is superb as well!”
“Not sure how this is less than 4 stars considering it holds its own weight in an area with many other great restaurants. It's a traditional Cantonese seafood restaurant with the craziest selection of crabs, lobsters, and fish. We've celebrated family events with their set menus which were phenomenally authentic and delicious, and gotten takeout for regular dinners which arrived perfectly cooked still.
Service is extremely attentive (although don't expect warm fuzzy pleasantries if it's busy) and they've often gifted us dessert which was very kind of them.
Definitely a local gem.”
“Bomb 💣.com not bad for the price I got full of the large poke bowl”
“I went to Chacha go with my daughter in law last week. I got a strawberry black tea with boba (25% sweetened) and it was delicious. Boba was just right. I'll be wanting to go to Chacha go again next time I'm in Fremont.”

“This is an amazing restaurant! Their food is great. We’ve catered big orders from them twice, and they’ve never let us down—their prices are fair, and they’re always on time. They have a wide variety of halal options, and their staff is personable and friendly. 10/10 recommend.”

“Food was amazing! We got the Hakka noodles with lak mai paneer and dry gobi Manchurian. All the dishes had good portions sizes for their prices. The deserts were incredible - recommend the chocolate pyramid - and the service was very friendly. Definitely will come again!!”
“Upon entry, I found the associates courteous with their smiles and slight bowing from the waist. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!”
“We ordered a catering service from this place. It was a very pleasant experience working with Smit. He was very organized and helpful throughout the entire process of tasting, finalizing the menu, getting estimates and getting our order delivered. All our guests loved the food”
“I recently visited Rameshwaram Cafe in Fremont, California, and it was an outstanding South Indian dining experience. As someone who truly appreciates authentic dosa and traditional South Indian flavors, I can confidently say this is one of the best places for dosa in the Bay Area.
The Benne Masala Dosa was exceptional — beautifully crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful inside, with that wonderful buttery aroma and authentic Karnataka-style taste. The Chili Cheese Podi Dosa was another standout, with the perfect combination of spice, cheese, and podi that made every bite incredibly flavorful.
I also highly recommend the Fried Idly and the Ghee Podi Thatte Idly. Both were delicious, perfectly prepared, and packed with flavor. The ghee and podi combination was especially impressive.
What really made the experience even better was the amazing service. The staff were friendly, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the visit. Great food combined with genuinely good hospitality makes a huge difference.
If you're looking for authentic, flavorful South Indian food in the Bay Area, especially Karnataka/Bangalore-style dosa, Rameshwaram Cafe Fremont is definitely worth visiting.”

“Ordered just the Chole Batura and it was delicious and we loved it. The service was a bit slow and gave us our order very late as they had forgotten about our order. The vibe is good with good music and there is warmth provided by the fire pit. It is nearby to Apni mandi which makes it easier to shop and then eat when tired.”
“My Experience of Day 1 of this Restaurant: This is a Takeaway place as of now. A Very Good Biryani I must say. I selected Goat Biryani & picked two to go. One with Pulav & the other with Biryani rice. Both were succulent & good! Apparently it will be a sit down restaurant down the road. My Good Friend Ram Bangalore texted me & asked me to join him to check it out & we both drove to Fremont today even to get Biryani. I must say I Enjoyed My pick of Biryani. As a Keralite from India in America I just love GOAT MEAT & the Biryani at BHIMAVARAM RUCHULU (now that is a mouth full of a Name)….as Mouth Watering as their Biryani. I hope to sit down in their restaurant some day & Enjoy the Biryani even more. All the Very Best Guys & Congratulations!!! I am a Big Believer in Small Business as a CPA.”

“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”
“For romantic atmosphere and healthy options”
“Absolutely amazing food! I am surprised this place does not have a huge line. The burnt ends were incredible and the prices weren’t bad at all. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. He makes everything fresh so it is absolutely worth the short wait!! Unfortunately I did not get to try his lemonade because it was sold out but I will definitely be back to try it next time.”
“Delicious food. When I see a post that they will be coming I will put my order in soon as possible. Always accommodating. Will go out their way to customize or make your request. All I can say is I wish it was a permanent establishment. Especially since it’s halal, it’s mouth watering. One bite and your taste buds will be like “ where you been this whole time”.”
“Fast service… pay once you are done eating. Do not feel like in fast food setting. You pick your seat and order what you want. Awesome filter coffee. They have Dosa happy hour. And quality of food is great. Even the 3 chutney they give you is tasty. Overall one of the best in town.”
