“Delicious and Fresh! Every dish at Garam Mirchi tastes homemade with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. The paneer fried rice and the Hakka noodles had a great smoky flavor. Definitely recommended!”
“Malatang is a street food/soup which is traditionally served really spicy and steaming hot, and you get to pick what gets added into the soup. At Old Street Chengpan Malatang you not only get to customize the soup by choosing the type of broth, the meats/proteins, and the veggies, but you also get to choose your spice levels. This selection process/customizing can be really fun and adds another layer to the experience. If you have never had a malatang before, I highly recommend it. It makes for a delucious shared experience with family and/or friends.”
“Absolutely loved this place! They start you off with free edamame, and it was so good I devoured the entire bowl in 4 minutes flat. For the main event, the Mango Secret Roll and the Secret Love Roll were incredibly tasty and fresh.
They have basketball playing on the TV in the corner, which gives the place a nice, casual vibe. Service can be a little on the slower side, but the food is absolutely worth the wait. Will definitely be back!”
“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.”
“I had the best lamb shank (Quran Lamb) I have ever had. My wife had the chicken kabob, which was good as well. We tried the Firni (cardamom-infused pudding), a wonderful flavor combo I have never had before. We did take out, but the dining in looks nice and comfortable. This place just opened in September 2025. You will be happy if you give it a try.”

“Authentic flavors, high-quality meat, and a great sauce bar. The soup base is rich and deep. Everything was fresh and the service was fast. Easily one of the best hotpot spots in town!”
“I might give this place another chance and dine in, because take out food was not good at all, burger dry seemed to be warmed up not cooked fresh, fry’s hard, the Zucchini was good.”

“we've been 3 times in the past few months and every time was great. we went the day after my wife's birthday, the same day our pet passed, and the staff made it a very special experience and distraction from our loss. absolutely recommend 110%. great food, great people, great experience overall.”

“I just stopped by for a quick meal, had the lamb kebabs plate. The kebabs were very tasty, nicely cooked and everything else on the plate was extremely fresh and flavorful. The place is very clean, the service was very friendly also. Will come back again for sure.”

“Really enjoyed my visit to Zingsters. The food was fresh and tasty, and the customer service was excellent. Naveed, who took our order, was very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout. I also really appreciated that they have a place for customers to pray Salah (Namaz), which was a nice touch. Great food, great service, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”
“Picked up two today uncooked to take home 250 miles away. Cooked them exactly how they said and they were amazing!!!! Thanks guys, I’ve missed your pizza!!”

“Update: 27 Jun 2026, 2nd time, restaurant is Hella good. Watermelon drink was soo yummy.
Super awesome spot for a quick bite. Fried seafood was so yummy, the sauces were over the top. The burgers were juicy and produce was fresh. No seating inside so subjected to the elements but not bad on a faur weather day. Friendly and fast service.”
“food is delicious. staff is so friendly and so supportive. They have the best vegetarian food in bay area.. I would recommend everyone who read this message to try at least once...I have done catering from this place and owner and staff have done great job...good job guys keep it up..GOD BLESS”

“Very refined modern takes on Japanese food. The food is first class, service is great, and love the sake! Considering the incredible quality of the food, the price is very reasonable. If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. Definitely recommend Soho for those looking for great, and non-typical Japanese food.”
“Approved! They pile on the green onions and cilantro; broth was flavorful and not heavy; a balanced bowl (got the signature beef stew noodles). They give you plenty of options - type of noodle, firmness, spice and numbing level, and yes, the ability to opt out on the green onions, etc. Chinese comfort food in a bowl. My kids can’t handle the spice yet so got the items without any heat.”
“Ordered takeout here and every time I do, the owner is always a great character to interact with and makes this place memorable. Food portions are great and the taste is on point. My favorite has been the salt and pepper fish but of their salt and pepper protein options are delicious. When you ask for good Chinese food recommendations from Fremont locals, this place usually is brought up and for good reason.”
“On our way to Napa Valley today, we ordered tuna kimchi, original, shrimp, egg bomb gimbap, a crab roll, and an avocado Issac-style toast, and they were all absolutely delicious! You could really taste the freshness of the ingredients, and everything was perfectly balanced. Honestly, it was better than most gimbap places back in Korea.
The two staff members at the shop were incredibly kind—they made sure to pack enough chopsticks and tissues, and they even thoughtfully gave us a banana milk and some drinks for our child. We were so grateful!”
“Pho Lan, a true family-run establishment in Fremont, delivers exactly what matters most in Vietnamese cuisine: spectacular, authentic flavor and generous value. While this isn't the spot for a luxurious, white-tablecloth experience, it is hands down the best place to find truly delicious pho and rice dishes in the area.
The primary reason to visit Pho Lan is the food, and they execute it flawlessly. The flavors here are deeply authentic, showcasing the care and tradition that only a family business dedicated to its craft can provide.
The Pho: The star of the show is, naturally, the pho. The broth is rich, complex, and clean—the hallmark of high-quality pho. It’s clear that the broth simmers for hours, resulting in a depth of flavor that many chain restaurants simply cannot replicate. Whether you choose a classic rare steak or brisket combination, the meat is fresh, and the portion size is substantial.
Beyond the Broth: While the pho is a must-try, the kitchen excels across the board. The rice dishes are equally noteworthy, featuring perfectly cooked meats and well-balanced marinades. If you're looking for Vietnamese food that tastes just like the dishes prepared in a traditional home, Pho Lan delivers.
Pho Lan offers excellent value. The portions are notably generous, ensuring you leave completely satisfied. In an age where many restaurants are shrinking servings, Pho Lan maintains a commitment to great portion size, making it a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner without breaking the bank.
It is important to manage expectations regarding the dining environment and service. As a dedicated, family-run operation, the entire focus is on efficiency and getting excellent food to your table quickly.
Ambiance & Service: This is not a restaurant built on trendy decor or overly solicitous service. The atmosphere is simple, casual, and functional. Service is efficient and straightforward, reflecting the priority of the kitchen over the front of house flair. If the quality of the food is your main metric, you will be thrilled. If you expect a high-end, polished dining experience, you might need to adjust your expectations. Pho Lan is an honest, no-frills location dedicated to its culinary mission.
Pho Lan is a Fremont treasure. It’s the kind of local spot that deserves strong community support because they consistently nail the most important element: the food.
For authentic flavors, generous portions, and truly delicious Vietnamese cuisine—from the masterful pho broth to the flavorful rice plates—Pho Lan is highly recommended. Come support this dedicated family business and enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food Fremont has to offer.
This was long due- will post pictures next time I visit them.”
“This cozy breakfast spot specializes in Shanghainese comforts. Service is brisk and no-nonsense. We ordered a few staples — wontons, noodle soups and xiaolongbao — all of them competent and satisfying.
The pork kidney noodle soup is a rarity in the United States, though here the kidney is cut thick and left unstir-fried, so it contributes less flavor to the broth than it could. It is better treated almost as a side than as an integral part of the soup. The xiaolongbao are tasty, if more rustic in appearance than the finely pleated versions served at more polished places like Din Tai Fung.
Still, this is an honest, unfussy restaurant well worth returning to.”
“Being part Burmese, I was very impressed with Burma Bay Cafe’s delicious dishes! Great service too. I’ll definitely be back.”
“I highly recommend this Hot Pot, which offers rich, authentic Northern Chinese flavors with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The broth is flavorful, the service is attentive, and this place is not over crowded great place to meet friends. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Breakfast Burrito best that we ate. Customer service was great. Place was clean customers in and out they are all serve with the smile. I salute to the manager on that day he himself at the counter serving a lot of customers. We are all satisfied our morning starts awesome.”
“Eating here was pretty nice. We came in an off time for lunch so we easily got a seat and to our surprise it was all you can eat. So of course we give 5 stars. Broth is pretty good and it hit our hot pot spot. Come and get some hotpot!”
“This was our first time here. We ordered the non-veg thali. The highlights for me were the chicken and fish curry! YUM!! Even the halwa wasn’t super sweet - perfect for a nice afternoon filling lunch. Lots of options to choose from!”
“Came here for a late night dinner around 9pm on the way going home, love that it opened late and was able to sit and dine in. Pretty lively still at the hour we were in. We ordered 3 soup noodle dishes, fried pork bun, chicken with veggie dish and a small pear soup appetizer. Everything was phenomenal and tasty. Would come back for a quick bite in the day. Service was alright.”

“This place is great, service is fast a food is so delicious. I had the big scallop, unagi and avacdo roll, volcano roll and the lobster roll.
The big scallop was my favorite, and I highly suggest if you enjoy baked rolls. Unagi and avacdo was my next favorite, just a great combination I've never had on its own.
This place has a variety of selection when it comes to rolls. It will be a few visits before I can try them all.”
“The flavor is delicious!! The cake truly tastes like matcha, and the combination with the cream is amazing. It’s not overly sweet or heavy, which makes it even better.
I highly recommend it. The only thing it could improve is offering more variety in flavors; there were only matcha and one other option. But honestly, the one I wanted to try was matcha, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommended!”
“Delicious burgers with options to suit all tastes. They have beef, chicken, and veggie patties as well as some without Pakistani spices for picky eaters like my daughter. They also have loaded quesadillas with fries and their signature spicy sauce which are amazing. They also have a good variety of shakes. We’ve had the mango and the Oreo Never Boreo.”

“This place surprised us. We’re very picky when it comes to Filipino food because we’re always looking for that taste of home. The dishes we ordered reminded me of home-cooked meals you’d find in every Filipino household — comforting, familiar, and made with love. Every bite felt nostalgic and instantly brought me back home.
The prices might be a little higher compared to other places I usually go to, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality, flavor, and the feeling of home the food brings.”
“Absolutely amazing food! I am surprised this place does not have a huge line. The burnt ends were incredible and the prices weren’t bad at all. The owner is extremely nice and friendly. He makes everything fresh so it is absolutely worth the short wait!! Unfortunately I did not get to try his lemonade because it was sold out but I will definitely be back to try it next time.”

“I highly recommend this Hot Pot, which offers rich, authentic Northern Chinese flavors with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The broth is flavorful, the service is attentive, and this place is not over crowded great place to meet friends. Definitely worth a visit!”
“One of the few authentic Korean restaurants in the Bay Area that doesn't skimp on the food! The Seolleongtang is delicious, but the Dogani Seolleongtang is incomparably rich and savory. The Doenjang Bibimbap truly deserves to be called a signature dish. I would also like to thank the staff for always treating customers with bright smiles and sincerity.”
“It was my first time and I had a good hype for this place from my Asian friends. This place was packed on a weekend and I heard they are busy most weekends. The place is cozy and we had to wait 15 mins to get a table. Their service is friendly and quick. We got the bbq fish which is this location famous for. I have to say I was surprised by the size and quantity. It was a big fish and good for 3 to 4 people. Though the fish was big it was mostly bones and their broth was spicy and sour with ample of veggies. We got Jasmine rice to go with it and it was good. The fish was fresh and the broth was soothing. We also got complimentary Ube dessert. Overall had a nice time and will definitely come back to try out their other dishes.”
“My favorite taco truck has been my go to spot for over 12 years. They serve amazing al pastor that's always juicy and flavorful. My usual order is a regular burrito, taco with plenty of their delicious pickled carrots, grab a bag and pack a good amount in there they’re so good! The service is always quick, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It feels like home, and the flavor has stay perfect over all these years.”
“Absolutely 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I found this spot through ChatGPT while I was in Fremont, and it did NOT disappoint. The asada fries were loaded and packed with flavor — perfectly seasoned carne asada, crispy fries, and just the right balance of toppings. Every bite hit.
The steak tacos were just as impressive. Super fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The meat had amazing flavor, and the tortillas and toppings complemented everything without overpowering it.
You can tell they care about quality and consistency. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend if you’re craving legit asada fries and tacos!”
“Get the Cinnamon Bun pastry thing (I forget the name).. either way, taste was phenomenal. Insanely pricey... the Cinnamon bun thing was like $4.50, but nevertheless delicious. Their Coffee Cake Steussel muffin looked tempting as well. but that was like $7. I'd def come back.”

“My goto Shanghai restaurant over the past 7 years. It’s very hard to find good “Su” style noodle in the Bay Area. This place brings back my home town memories.”

“Food is by far superb! A must try and check out the place. Food is C delicious you will love it and waiters are extra friendly”
“7.1/10 Sausage and Egg breakfast sandwich $9.50
A lot of bagel places have breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Their sandwiches are nothing special and overpriced like every other place
It's worth more to find a Noahs Bagels and get something with more in the bagel or sandwich for about the same price or a lil more
I wont be back here for any breakfast sandwich. They had a lot of options for shmears it probably would've been better just to get a bagel”
“Wanted to offer a big thanks to the recent owners of this establishment. The team running Vince's for the last several years (2022-2026) have been an amazing staple of our lunches in this area. Hopefully the new ownership (2026+) continue the excellent tradition of this place. So long, and thanks for all the great sandwhiches!”
“New taqueria inside a Shell gas station! I know what you're thinking, gas station food? I was a little hesitant too but this place surprised us.
They serve up fresh tacos, burritos, quesadillas, burrito bowls, nachos, and even TOTCHOS! Yes, tater tot nachos! What's even cooler is that it's Chipotle style, where you can customize your toppings. GET THE CHIPOTLE TORTILLA! This made such a huge difference in flavor for our burrito. They also have spinach, tomato and traditional tortillas to choose from.
I heard their breakfast burritos (served all day) are really good, so I definitely want to go back and try one of those next time.

“The chichen meal is good. The desert and drinks are good too.
One of my family member is a vegetarian. The store can customize the meal for vegetarians.
The store managers are nice and experienced in doing business.
I buy food from Shihlin every week. It's now one of my favorites in Fremont.”
“Had an amazing lunch at Naga's Kitchen! Ordered the biryani, coriander paneer masala, and masala chaas - and honestly, I'm still thinking about that meal.
The coriander paneer masala was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were so authentic and rich, it instantly reminded me of the incredible paneer dishes I had in Hyderabad. You can tell they really know what they're doing in the kitchen - the spices were perfectly balanced and the paneer was so tender.
The masala chaas was such a nice touch too. It had that nostalgic, comforting taste that reminded me of the refreshing drinks you get at railway stations during long train journeys. Simple but so satisfying.
The biryani was fragrant and flavorful. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon - this place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic Indian flavors.”

“The service was amazing and attentive. The food was great. And the atmosphere was perfect. My only regret is that we were too full for dessert. Definitely an amazing place to celebrate a special occasion.”
“I’ve been consistently going here for the past 2 years since they’ve re-opened and the food has always been amazing. My two favorite dishes have to be the spicy pork and their seafood pancake. Definitely going to keep coming back.”
“absolutely the best sushi I've had in a long time! the staff is super friendly, I will definitely be going back!”
“Definitely a 5 star restaurant. Excellent salad, breadsticks, and macaroni. Food served th temperature, management and staff provided excellent service. I would like to thank the staff for really making us feel at home!”
“It's small, so the wait for a dine in table can take a bit, but the food quality is worth the wait. Our family has loved everything we have tried. this is one of a handful of local restaurants my 10 year old some will never complain about!”
“★★★★★ Amazing ambience and incredible value! The cozy, private booths and beautiful oriental decorations hanging from the ceiling create a perfectly cute and slightly romantic vibe. Ordering is super easy right from the table via an iPad app, and the service was phenomenal.
The food is reasonably priced and delicious. We got the beef skewers (a little spicy) and loved the spicy green beans so much we literally ordered five rounds of them! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience that gives you great bang for your buck.”
“Great Breakfast. Best place. Service is fantastic. Love this place. Always go there when we are in area. Nothing compares. One of a kind”
“Best noodle place we’ve ever Ben to. Quaint but great.”
“Stopped by it as its road sign mentioned Indian coastal food, something I grew up eating, a cuisine that’s built around seafood and vegetables, basically locally available ingredients, and not much meat or pure vegetarian that usually define Indian food. This cuisine from the west coast of India starting from Mumbai through the southern tip of Kerala has regional flavors but they are very similar.
I ate a vada-pav, a popular street food in Mumbai and a Mumbai thali with fried pomfret. The thali basically a full course meal starting from an appetizer through a dessert, all arranged in a steel plate. It was delicious- probably I was just nostalgic as it reminded me of the days in Mumbai as a graduate student.
Definitely a place to check out if you are tired of the normalized Indian that rarely exposes its wide range and regional diversity.”
“Having enjoyed their dishes many times for months, It’s beyond “Very Satisfying”! Excellent, delicious food! Quality well maintained although it is a hard time under C-19. Hygiene suggestions n requests well followed! Thanks 🙏 Customer Service outstanding! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍”

“Such a special and wonderful restaurant! You’ll get the chance to try the tasty food and also enjoy live music! 🎶 This is my go-to restaurant now. We also hosted our alumni events here and got tons of positive feedback! 🎉”
“Great food, large portions at a great price. Has a mix of foods, Thai and crepes. Aa to the crepes they have combinations I’ve not seen before, i.e. Indian inspired. Staff are very pleasant. Offers indoor and outdoor seating.”
“The service was also excellent. From ordering and delivery to the on-site arrangement, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. Communication was easy, and they were very responsive to our needs, which made the whole event stress-free and enjoyable.
The ingredients were very fresh, and you can really tell they have high quality standards”
“OMG, I just had the best pizza of my life!!! I was already planning to leave a 5-star review for the calzone, and then I tried the pizza, it just keeps getting better and better. All 🍖 🥓”
“Amazing taste ! Loved the presentation ! I ordered Two tier cake- bottom vanilla cake with Nutella cream cheese Top tier chocolate cake with Nutella cream cheese ! Mouth watering taste.”

“Mr. Lau's Steak House (劉月鐵板.居酒屋) provides authentic Taiwanese-style steak meal, which left me feeling happy after eating it. The set meal includes black pepper rib eye steak (8 ounces, medium rare), lettuce salad, garlic bread, an egg, and spaghetti. The price is so inexpensive and the meal is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back again and again!”
“This place has quickly become my favorite place to go to. My favorites are the rib eye and New York steak with a mixed sauce. The meat is high quality, rib eye is juicy and tender and the New York has the special beef texture I am looking for. The side dishes are great and the portion is big. I also like the finger foods like fish cake tempura and popcorn chicken, highly recommend them with cold beer if you are over 21!”
“Such a great experience. The ramen and mazemen were packed with flavor, the chicken karaage was amazing, and the dessert was the perfect finish. Everything was fresh, delicious, and worth trying. Highly recommend”
“Love this place. Food always , fast, hot and yummy. Service is usually always fast & friendly. Daniel has served me several times and he is always great. I moved out of town & always stop by for my veggie scramble every time I'm in town.”
“We spontaneously stopped in when we were craving dumplings, what a surprising gem! The food was very fresh and flavorful. We ordered:
- Beef potstickers
- Steamed red oil chicken wonton
- Wonton soup (chicken)
- BBQ pork buns (steamed)
Genuinely surprised at how casually delicious and great the food, as well as the service, was!”
“Chi Xiao Guo seems to be gone. Now it’s Liu Yue Teppanyaki Cuisine. They don’t sell hot pot in summer, but the Teppanyaki cuisine is also delicious. It’s very similar to the signature Teppanyaki Noodles at Taiwan’s night markets. Love! Definitely will come again : )”
“It was our first time to go to this restaurant. The food was good, cooked fresh and hot. We liked the food very much and our server was wonderful. Looking forward to go again. #vegnchatcuisine #papihanandy #review #fremont #california #vegetarian #chholebhature #thali #vegthali #restaurant”
“Had an excellent experience at Hungry Cow! From the moment we walked in, everything was top-notch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's hard to find anything to complain about because everything was done so well.
Overall, an outstanding dining experience. No complaints at all—just great food, great service, and great value. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Hungry Cow to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!”
“We made reservations on it Thursday to celebrate a birthday dinner. The food was great the service was very nice the place was crowded so glad we did make the reservation. Some of the best lasagna I've had and the carbonara my goodness. I'm a big fan of creme brulee and they did not disappoint. Will be back again.”
“Was craving sushi so decided to dine in here, I got the red dragon roll which has eel topped with tuna. Great roll, and they also gave tasty miso soup on the side! Service was good too.”
“Absolutely loved their soft shell crab Khao Soi. The curry was deep, rich, perfectly seasoned. The combination of crispy and soft noodles. And an expertly fried soft shell crab made it magical. Wouldn't hesitate to come back and get this dish again.”
“la mas Buena pizza 🍕 The best pizza like never never lik this for real”
“Small restaurant serves local people - expertise in Shanghainese food
I’ve been dining with this restaurant for decade already. Chef is still now enthusiastic about food and quality. Food quality is always fresh and clean. Make sure you tell them less greasy and less salt upon order. They can adjust and make a lot of fresh food.
My family likes this spot. It is out no.1 choice for family dinner spot”
“So good! The food was super flavorful and tasted really authentic. Perfect balance of spicy and numbing — exactly what I was craving. The crispy chicken and peppercorn fish were amazing!
Service was friendly and quick, and everyone was really nice. Great spot for Sichuan food — will definitely be back!”
“I have tried the pho and beef stew at both the Fremont and the San Jose location, and while they were fine, neither really stood out to me.
The standout is the 1/2 chicken with crispy rice and a fried egg. When the Fremont location first opened, I felt the portion size was noticeably smaller than at the San Jose location. However, I returned about a week ago and was pleasantly surprised by how generous the serving had become. It’s easily large enough to share or take home for another meal.
The crispy rice had the perfect texture, the fried egg was jammy, and the chicken was flavored well. The sauce leans slightly sweeter than savory, but I found it worked really well.
To finish the meal, they served a complimentary slice of their green waffle. My mom and I enjoyed it so much that I asked if they sold them separately and ended up buying a whole one to go.
One thing to keep in mind is that this location closes between 2:00-5:00PM. As someone who prefers eating an early dinner, I’ve wanted to stop by several times only to realize they were closed, so plan accordingly.”
“This is our go to place for korean food in Fremont for years. The food has been consistently good. We always order beef bulgogi & tofu soup combo for our family. We love the beef bulgogi. It has sweet savory sauce with tender beef. The tofu soup can be hit or miss. We got seafood white soup (not spicy) for our kiddo - it was good but I personally prefer medium spice for more depth of flavor.
The only downside was the parking. The parking was limited and got crowded during lunch or dinner time. So, most of the time we parked on the street nearby or we just do take out.”
“Kinda my favorite place til recently. Waiter F’d blamed me. 4 dined, we gave our order. 1 person changed their order, so 3 meals ended up being the same, then there was mine. They ended changing my order instead of the other person, he argued with me until he realized he messed up, never said sorry, and then still got my order wrong by cook my salmon well instead of veggies, which they forgot to add, but I paid anyways, to go.”
“I ordered home delivery for a party of 40 people . The food was delivered on time and they even provided warmers and condiments . Snacks and food was delicious and liked by everyone Owner is very gracious and takes personal interest in executing the order perfectly . Highly recommended for in town catering”
“I went to Chacha go with my daughter in law last week. I got a strawberry black tea with boba (25% sweetened) and it was delicious. Boba was just right. I'll be wanting to go to Chacha go again next time I'm in Fremont.”
“Loved the sushi here - the fish is high quality, price is good for the quality of the fish, and the ambiance is nice: clean, spacious and brightly lit.
Highly recommend the omakase: 10 pieces for $46. The presentation of the nigiri was excellent and it was all delicious.”
“Tried this restaurant for the first time! Foods are so good...highly recommend this Korean restaurant”
“I really think this is a great hotpot restaurant, especially if you like spicy food. The food quality is also very good. Honestly think it deserves more recognition!”
“Today we said a sad goodbye to the last Fremont Resident of the Williams Family😞 Pops was so loved and appreciated and it showed today at his services ,though I didn’t go to the burial for the fact of I couldn’t see my Best Friends Frankie’s Ashes being buried with his Father & I find out after that they didn’t lower the casket until everyone was gone 😞I did go to Coaches today and ALL I kept finding myself doing was looking for Pops or waiting for him to walk in as that is where I would always meet him rather if it was for him to get in on my football pools or to change the motor for his windows of his Mercedes or some type of work to his car no matter what it was for that was where you could always find Pops with his hotspot papers in one hand a a cold Bud Light in the other 🥃cheers 🥂to you Pops your going to be missed by so many as you already are love you Please give my love to Mom Kevin and my brother Frankie 🙏🏽🙏🏽 RIP Frank Williams Jr.”
“Wow. Why only 2.4 stars ? They must of just opened cause this is way better than wing stop. it was so good my god my tastebuds just had an orgasm ! Yes I’ll be coming back if the food stays fresh like that !!! Gotta wipe my mouth ? lord.”
“Met my cousins at Johnny's for an after party. I didn't have any drinks but we did dance. The place seemed really nice, remodeled. The DJ was good! They had security and cameras which I liked. I'd definitely go back.”
“I rarely write reviews but this is an absolute gem - very cozy neighborhood spot in Fremont. I’ve lived in major cities (SF, NYC, London) and eaten a lot of Japanese food - and the quality of the food here is on par if not better.
Very friendly nice staff. Anna started a convo and they’ve been open 30 years, old fashioned style (no food delivery hustle and bustle). She seems close with other customers (asking about and congratulating re: college admissions).
The food was homestyle but also polished for great value- $30 for 3 item dinner combo comes with soup and salad, $3 extra for chirashi appetizer. Veggies with the grilled items were a nice touch, and the rice was cooked well.
Will definitely become a regular spot, it should become one of yours too!”
“3.5 stars rounded up
No wait on a Saturday when they opened at 11am.
Very friendly service. Large portion sizes so 4 dishes were more than enough for 5 of us.
Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.
Braised Tofu or whatever it is called on the menu- looks salty because of the dark color but it was”
“Really good and friendly service! Can’t ask for anything more”
“Stopped by Mom’s Tofu House and had a really good experience. The food was fresh, comforting, and full of flavor, with the tofu dishes especially standing out.
The place has a cozy, casual atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Great spot for a warm and satisfying Korean meal”
“One of the best saffron/kesar chai/tea I have had in the US!(A bit on the sweeter side, so heads up)Their Irani tea is not bad either. (UPDATE: Due to scarcity of Saffron they lately changed it to cheaper one and it has ruined the taste. Wish they would go back to the original saffron they were using before.)
The mutton biryani on weekends is also good, don’t know why have it only on weekends when there is demand? The chicken cutlets were surprisingly good and mutton Haleem is pretty good as well. Didn’t care for the mango lassi or the sweet.
The atmosphere is lacking but getting served in the restaurant in disposable plastic containers truly kills the vibe.”
“We came for our 30th anniversary while Strizzi's is celebrating it's 40th, so we got soup and salad gratis. Not just a cup or a small salad but full blown servings. My clam chowder was among the best I ever had. The food was great - we had the lasagna and spaghetti with (3 big) meatballs. Our server, Jawad, was among the friendliest ever, and took the time to chat and take our picture. A lot of servers do that, but he was just a wonderfully friendly guy. Get there and see if he will serve you before he gets through college! We had not heard of this place before and took a flyer. Big score!”
“Authentic Kerala Malayali food in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond! Karikku Cafe catered a feast at a celebratory event and all items were excellent! Aviyal, Erisseri, Kalan, Sambar, palada prathaman, Kichadi, Pachadi, Kichadi and so many items! We loved it! We plan to cater for our Onam Sadhya soon!”
“Great food! Love ❤️ all that we ordered. And the bubble teas, too”
“The best grilled chicken ever....never dry! the garlic sauce is superb as well!”
“Bomb 💣.com not bad for the price I got full of the large poke bowl”
“Amazing place for yakitori food, chef Sherman really knows quality and simplicity for yakitori food. I highly recommend this place especially when you get togethers with great friends. 5 stars out of 5”
“Food 5/5 - Ordered pineapple shrimp fried rice and hainan chicken rice, both were delicious. The pineapple shrimp fried rice had lots of big pieces of shrimp, and had good “wok-hei”. Hainan chicken rice, the chicken had good texture and the sauces were good.
Price $$ - Price is good for the portions that were served.
Service 3/5 - Service is average. Water is brought to you after you sit, and you’ll need to flag down a server for service.
Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with modern themed decor.
Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.”
“Great Sichuan food and great atmosphere. I got five dishes and I recommend all of them:
- Tender Beef in Spicy Sauce
- Kung Pao Chicken
- Pork Fried Rice
- Dandan Noodles
- Dry Cooked String Beans
If you’re not a fan of spicy, feel free to omit the Tender Beef in Spicy Sauce, but you are truly missing out.
Service was also great! Very attentive and kind :)”
“Best food ever great service been to all three highly recommended 😋5 star's definitely”
“Great food. Very nicely prepared, tasty and served hot. Vibe is hotel lobby restaurant vibe. Service is slowish and our particular waitress seemed to be on the tipping point.”
“It was a small place where it is understaffed. The atmosphere was fair typical family owned Chinese restaurant. The food was quite good to my surprise. The dim sum was hot and above average the price was extremely reasonable. It was our first time there. We spent $45 per couple including tips of 20% for the value is the best I’ve seen in the South Bay and the food was definitely better than many other dim sum restaurants.”

“This is an amazing restaurant! Their food is great. We’ve catered big orders from them twice, and they’ve never let us down—their prices are fair, and they’re always on time. They have a wide variety of halal options, and their staff is personable and friendly. 10/10 recommend.”

“Went here on a weekend (crazy busy) as locals suggested it a lot. Finally found a place with non- smelly chicken in drums of heaven. They know their food prep and take it seriously. Manchow soup was good, noodles and rice quantity is great…star was Chili chicken momos. Will be back to try more!”
“Really good food. Excellent service. We were greeted by the staff (Keshav) and sat us on table. We were having bit of a hard time with online order so he helped us with that. Food came very quickly and Keshav checked with us few times to make sure Al is well at our table. In the end, he brought us boxes without us even asking. Hard to get that kind of service nowadays where everyone is busy with their phones. Thanks for good food and great experience.”
“Upon entry, I found the associates courteous with their smiles and slight bowing from the waist. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!”
“Rajwadi Thali serves excellent, highly authentic Gujarati food with top-notch hospitality. Unlike the more structured menu style at Vatan in NYC, the staff here keeps the food coming quickly with unlimited refills on chaats, sweets, and sides. The seasonal spread was incredible—the oondhiya, poori, and keri no ras (mango pulp) were an absolute treat that we haven’t enjoyed in a long time, and the Gujarati kadhi was also quite good. We also got some paan for the road, which was the perfect finish after eating so much. Definitely worth a visit with friends and family!”

“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”
“For romantic atmosphere and healthy options”
“I really enjoyed my boneless chicken feet! I got the sichuan peppercorn flavor, which is mild spicy, garlicky, a little bit sour, with the addicting citrus-zap of whole green sichuan peppercorns. A very unique tasty snack from very friendly folks in a bright clean space!”
“Fast service… pay once you are done eating. Do not feel like in fast food setting. You pick your seat and order what you want. Awesome filter coffee. They have Dosa happy hour. And quality of food is great. Even the 3 chutney they give you is tasty. Overall one of the best in town.”
“Delicious food. When I see a post that they will be coming I will put my order in soon as possible. Always accommodating. Will go out their way to customize or make your request. All I can say is I wish it was a permanent establishment. Especially since it’s halal, it’s mouth watering. One bite and your taste buds will be like “ where you been this whole time”.”
