“Delicious and Fresh! Every dish at Garam Mirchi tastes homemade with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. The paneer fried rice and the Hakka noodles had a great smoky flavor. Definitely recommended!”
“We love this place! We’ve been here a few times, and the food never disappoints us. The restaurant is very spacious with a large variety of food. The flavor is very authentic. Malatang tastes great and comes with plenty of meat and veggies. I highly recommend the brown sugar rice cakes.”
“Authentic flavors, high-quality meat, and a great sauce bar. The soup base is rich and deep. Everything was fresh and the service was fast. Easily one of the best hotpot spots in town!”
“I had the best lamb shank (Quran Lamb) I have ever had. My wife had the chicken kabob, which was good as well. We tried the Firni (cardamom-infused pudding), a wonderful flavor combo I have never had before. We did take out, but the dining in looks nice and comfortable. This place just opened in September 2025. You will be happy if you give it a try.”
“might be the best deal in Fremont! Happy hour all day everyday 🤯
Better than In-N-Out animal fries with the best meat. The Chile relleno reminded us of a better version of jalapeno poppers 🔥
Also shout out to the wonderful @prisilly_penelope_ for the perfect recommendations and hospitality. ❤️
They will be seeing us again; absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the east bay 🙌

“wonderful food and service- delightful date night deliciousness.”
“Great food and atmosphere. Make a reservation if you can (we did). The parking lot is hellish, so a lot of people park in the neighborhood (we did). Staff is friendly. Potions are large, and delicious!”

“we've been 3 times in the past few months and every time was great. we went the day after my wife's birthday, the same day our pet passed, and the staff made it a very special experience and distraction from our loss. absolutely recommend 110%. great food, great people, great experience overall.”
“Delicious and Fresh! Every dish at Garam Mirchi tastes homemade with fresh ingredients and authentic spices. The paneer fried rice and the Hakka noodles had a great smoky flavor. Definitely recommended!”
“Food: one word, AMAZING. From banchan to tofu soup, everything tasted like I had in Korea. The flavors are spot on and portion is good. Their bibimpap is highly recommended!
Service: one of the warmest I’ve had in Bay Area for sure. The guy was very welcoming, attentive and helpful! Makes the overall dining experience better.
Ambiance: I love how the name of the restaurant and “delicious” in Korean is corresponded. Overall it’s casual but I hope the kitchen vacuum is better so we don’t get too stuffed by the smell.”
“Order the regular brown sugar boba milk tea at 15% sweet with light ice. Even with low sugar it’s still sweet enough because of the boba. Very consistent and rarely made wrong.
I got the fried octopus and it’s always so good. I prefer the legs over the rings. Rarely too chew or overly crispy. Usually my go to unless my kids are with me then I get the fried tofu which is also great!”

“I just stopped by for a quick meal, had the lamb kebabs plate. The kebabs were very tasty, nicely cooked and everything else on the plate was extremely fresh and flavorful. The place is very clean, the service was very friendly also. Will come back again for sure.”

“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.”

“Finding authentic Mexican food that actually tastes like home is rare, but this place nailed it. Every bite reminded me of my family’s cooking. I brought my entire family here, and everyone from the kids to the adults absolutely loved it.
The flavors are genuine, the service is warm, and a huge thank you to Evelyn and Liliana for taking such great care of us! They were so helpful and made our family dinner feel even more special. We’ve definitely found our new favorite spot. 10/10!”

“I had a great experience with Perl and Emilou at Nation Burger, Mowry Fremont. They're incredibly attentive, dedicated, and fantastic customer service. I was impressed by their passion in cooking, particularly the preparation of orders. It was so organized and ran smoothly..”
“We haven’t left the restaurant and I’m writing this review. It’s been years since I’ve come to Country Way and I’m so glad we came here. It feels like stepping into a piece of Fremont’s history, yet the restaurant looks so well maintained.
We got the linguicia omelette, country fried steak, and French toast. Everything tasted so good! The French toast was unlike others we’ve had—it’s like a happy combo of pancakes and French toast. Would recommend getting extra crispy potatoes. Service was quick and so friendly! Thanks Country Way!”
“food is delicious. staff is so friendly and so supportive. They have the best vegetarian food in bay area.. I would recommend everyone who read this message to try at least once...I have done catering from this place and owner and staff have done great job...good job guys keep it up..GOD BLESS”
“Delicious burgers with options to suit all tastes. They have beef, chicken, and veggie patties as well as some without Pakistani spices for picky eaters like my daughter. They also have loaded quesadillas with fries and their signature spicy sauce which are amazing. They also have a good variety of shakes. We’ve had the mango and the Oreo Never Boreo.”
“Food is great, it was prepared quickly. It's self-service. Taste and flavor is great, portion sizes are wholesome. Loved the grilled veges side.
Only complaint is, they won't clean the tables frequently. So you may have to wait or just do it yourself.”
“I had an amazing experience at Curry Pizza House! The food was absolutely delicious, with the perfect blend of Indian spices and classic pizza flavors. The crust was fresh and crispy, and the toppings were generous and full of flavor. Everything we ordered was served hot and tasted incredible.
A special thanks to our server, Kaur, who made our visit even better. She was friendly, attentive, and very welcoming throughout our meal.”

“Very refined modern takes on Japanese food. The food is first class, service is great, and love the sake! Considering the incredible quality of the food, the price is very reasonable. If all you want is your typical California Rolls ect, this is not the place. You get a wonderful Omakase menu here. Definitely recommend Soho for those looking for great, and non-typical Japanese food.”
“Got a take out order from this place during lunch hour rush. The order was done by phone, the staff was friendly and patient as she placed my order.
Upon arrival to my pickup, I was informed that the braised egg was not available so she took it out of my order.
Well packed noodles and soup separately!!!
The portion of the noodles was great!!! Beef texture was just perfect, melted in your mouth. So juicy and flavorful!!! Tender and tasty!
The numbing spice was mild but got a nice kick to it!
Lots of cilantro and scallions which I love!!
I think overall, the flavor and portion both exceeded my expectations! This is my first visit and will definitely would got back to try some more food!!!
The restaurant looks cozy with lots of little 4 seaters tables.
Location wise, it's hidden in the back of left side of the plaza.”
“Ordered takeout here and every time I do, the owner is always a great character to interact with and makes this place memorable. Food portions are great and the taste is on point. My favorite has been the salt and pepper fish but of their salt and pepper protein options are delicious. When you ask for good Chinese food recommendations from Fremont locals, this place usually is brought up and for good reason.”
“This business is often missed on Mission Blvd. because of how hidden it is -- but I would say this is one of the MANY hidden gems of Fremont by far.
EE Home Cooking whips up the most authentic southern style family dishes, ranging anywhere from veggies, to noodles, and more. They are a hole in a wall and is a restaurant that's quite convenient for the students at Ohlone to go to (due to its close proximity of the school). The owner and the chef are very nice, and they even give you 10% off the order if you do takeout! Talk about AMAZING.
The sit-in dining experience was nothing short of the AMAZING time my family and I had there, as the hospitality was very generous and so was the ambiance as well. I will say that there are limited amounts of space, but as soon as you strike up a conversation with the owner, she will make you feel like home.
The food portions were a little bit on the smaller side, given the storefront and how small it is, so I found it a little surprising. But the dishes we got tasted super fresh and made with the heart.
This place is definitely not to be missed upon -- but definitely worth the time to visit and support such a local business!”
“Came with my family for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and brought back so many memories of home. They serve authentic Shanghainese dishes with flavors that taste traditional and carefully prepared. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re craving authentic Shanghainese food.”
“We had an amazing time. Our waiter was beyond excellent. The food was good. It all came out at the same time and was hot. Waiting Staff was amazing. They filled our water faster than we could drink it and brought bread faster than we can eat it they thought ahead of things we needed. One of the best experiences I had and the best service that I had in a very, very long time at any establishment..”
“Rice Junky is such a pleasant surprise! The food is flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. Everything tastes well-balanced and satisfying. The staff are friendly and the service is quick, making it perfect for a casual meal or takeout. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!”
“Pho Lan, a true family-run establishment in Fremont, delivers exactly what matters most in Vietnamese cuisine: spectacular, authentic flavor and generous value. While this isn't the spot for a luxurious, white-tablecloth experience, it is hands down the best place to find truly delicious pho and rice dishes in the area.
The primary reason to visit Pho Lan is the food, and they execute it flawlessly. The flavors here are deeply authentic, showcasing the care and tradition that only a family business dedicated to its craft can provide.
The Pho: The star of the show is, naturally, the pho. The broth is rich, complex, and clean—the hallmark of high-quality pho. It’s clear that the broth simmers for hours, resulting in a depth of flavor that many chain restaurants simply cannot replicate. Whether you choose a classic rare steak or brisket combination, the meat is fresh, and the portion size is substantial.
Beyond the Broth: While the pho is a must-try, the kitchen excels across the board. The rice dishes are equally noteworthy, featuring perfectly cooked meats and well-balanced marinades. If you're looking for Vietnamese food that tastes just like the dishes prepared in a traditional home, Pho Lan delivers.
Pho Lan offers excellent value. The portions are notably generous, ensuring you leave completely satisfied. In an age where many restaurants are shrinking servings, Pho Lan maintains a commitment to great portion size, making it a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner without breaking the bank.
It is important to manage expectations regarding the dining environment and service. As a dedicated, family-run operation, the entire focus is on efficiency and getting excellent food to your table quickly.
Ambiance & Service: This is not a restaurant built on trendy decor or overly solicitous service. The atmosphere is simple, casual, and functional. Service is efficient and straightforward, reflecting the priority of the kitchen over the front of house flair. If the quality of the food is your main metric, you will be thrilled. If you expect a high-end, polished dining experience, you might need to adjust your expectations. Pho Lan is an honest, no-frills location dedicated to its culinary mission.
Pho Lan is a Fremont treasure. It’s the kind of local spot that deserves strong community support because they consistently nail the most important element: the food.
For authentic flavors, generous portions, and truly delicious Vietnamese cuisine—from the masterful pho broth to the flavorful rice plates—Pho Lan is highly recommended. Come support this dedicated family business and enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food Fremont has to offer.
This was long due- will post pictures next time I visit them.”
“This place reminds me of the old-school Chinese and Taiwanese places you’d find in the San Gabriel Valley in SoCal in the early 2000s. Mandarin speaking, straightforward service and just good Chinese comfort food.
At 11am on a Saturday it was packed with mainlanders, a good sign. What I really love about it is the honest pricing…we ordered a noodle, pan-fried buns and wonton soup for only $41 total. That’s a steal in this crazy economy, especially considering how labor-intensive Chinese dumplings are.
- Shanghai pan fried buns were crispy on outside, fluffy on the inside. Delicious!
- The shepherd’s purse wonton was okay, but slightly over-boiled; the wrappers were gummy.
- Scallion oil noodles were delicious and in a generous serving that two can share
The elderly couple running this place are both really nice and friendly. They’re more comfortable speaking Mandarin but they speak some English as well.”
“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”
“Great hot pot experience! The price was $34.99, which felt reasonable for the variety and quality. The soup base was flavorful, and the dipping sauce went really well with everything. They also offered a drink for writing a review, and the drink was very refreshing — it paired perfectly with the hot pot, especially while eating something warm and spicy. Overall, a satisfying meal and a nice place to come with friends.”

“Breakfast Burrito best that we ate. Customer service was great. Place was clean customers in and out they are all serve with the smile. I salute to the manager on that day he himself at the counter serving a lot of customers. We are all satisfied our morning starts awesome.”

“The 4” cakes here were perfect for my small bday celebration with just me and my wife. I got the matcha cake which was delicious, light, and not overly sweet. The service was excellent as well, as the bakers in the store were able to add small customizations like a cute smiley face on the cake and print happy birthday.”

“Yay Wendell is back!!! Wendell was the previous owner of the Depot Café. She makes a tocino breakfast with garlic rice and eggs that is fantastic and my go-to. I’ve never had a bad meal there and I ate there probably three days a week while she owned it. I was so disappointed when she sold to that other fella and he pretty much destroyed the restaurant with his food…(it was awful). It was not good and he was not very clean. Counters were dirty, stuff like that. The one thing I can say about having Wendell back is the depot café is being run clean again. You can tell that cleanliness is next to godliness when it comes to Wendell because it’s noticeably cleaner. I stopped coming after my last food experience here, and it wasn’t until I noticed Wendell moving back in that I came back. I ride the train every day, so having my favorite restaurant cafe back to its good food, great conversation is the upgrade that this place needed. I am so happy to be able to come back to the Depot café again! Welcome back Wendell! Those of us that ride the train all the time couldn’t be happier about it.”
“This place surprised us. We’re very picky when it comes to Filipino food because we’re always looking for that taste of home. The dishes we ordered reminded me of home-cooked meals you’d find in every Filipino household — comforting, familiar, and made with love. Every bite felt nostalgic and instantly brought me back home.
The prices might be a little higher compared to other places I usually go to, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality, flavor, and the feeling of home the food brings.”
“Interesting shop that sell primarily chicken feet.it is small store with the display of all the flavor of chicken feet and you can try any one of it. It is boneless chicken feet. It just opened couple months a go. It is not easy to find as the store name Hao Shi Ji. You order using the touch screen kiosk. It also has stand at Great mall.
Beside chicken feet it also has the rice and mince pork rice.
There are 5 variant of the flavors. For me the spicy one is good. There is also spiciest level. Pricewise I think quite high. It is unique experience.”
“It was my first time and I had a good hype for this place from my Asian friends. This place was packed on a weekend and I heard they are busy most weekends. The place is cozy and we had to wait 15 mins to get a table. Their service is friendly and quick. We got the bbq fish which is this location famous for. I have to say I was surprised by the size and quantity. It was a big fish and good for 3 to 4 people. Though the fish was big it was mostly bones and their broth was spicy and sour with ample of veggies. We got Jasmine rice to go with it and it was good. The fish was fresh and the broth was soothing. We also got complimentary Ube dessert. Overall had a nice time and will definitely come back to try out their other dishes.”
“The best food I’ve ever had in my life. It’s like they put voodoo magic in their food I just don’t understand how it’s that good. Just take all my money it’s fine. My favorites are the soup bao, honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken I could just freaken live off their soup bao”
“I’m glad this place exists in Fremont! I really enjoy coming here; the food is great and the service if you dine in is always good. I also order out from here a lot and it’s just as good. Would recommend checking it out if you’re looking for Seolleongtang (or galbitang, in my case)”

“My favorite taco truck has been my go to spot for over 12 years. They serve amazing al pastor that's always juicy and flavorful. My usual order is a regular burrito, taco with plenty of their delicious pickled carrots, grab a bag and pack a good amount in there they’re so good! The service is always quick, and the staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. It feels like home, and the flavor has stay perfect over all these years.”
“I just went to sujues a few days back .I order my normal small or large iced Carmel macchiato with whip cream and extra Carmel .it is one of my favorite drinks when I go there .The people are kind at the cashier area .I sometimes tip here n there because I like there place .they have the food and snacks behind the glass which I can see clearly .There prices are a lil high but it's the bay area Ca .I might go back again tomorrow for another drink. Small is $5.75 and a large is $6.92.I wish they were only $4-$5 but that's the price we pay for the best weather state in America and in the west coast .”

“Food is by far superb! A must try and check out the place. Food is C delicious you will love it and waiters are extra friendly”
“This is an amazing restaurant! Their food is great. We’ve catered big orders from them twice, and they’ve never let us down—their prices are fair, and they’re always on time. They have a wide variety of halal options, and their staff is personable and friendly. 10/10 recommend.”
“If you think Panda Express is good… this is straight Michelin star compared to it!!! The best halal Chinese food in the Bay Area!!! It’s Panda Express style so you get to pick your plate & what you would like it’s always fresh!!! The portion sizes are really generous also!!!”
“We finally checked out The Kebab Shop, and it was a total hit!
The biggest surprise was how much the kids loved the food. They inhaled their meals and were actually asking for more by the end. Note to self: next time, we’re skipping the kids' menu and ordering full adult plates for them—they clearly can't get enough of those flavors!
Everything felt high-quality, especially the salad, which was incredibly crisp and fresh. It’s the kind of spot where you feel good about what you’re eating. We will definitely be back soon!”
“We hadn't had dim sum in a long time, so after a car meet, we were really craving it and found this place near Ohlone College.
We ordered some of our usual dim sum favorites, including shiu mai, har gow, chicken feet, steamed pork ribs in black bean sauce, and the shrimp spring rolls.
Everything tasted really good, and the portions were generous! Even though they don't have a huge selection, they do have most of the classic dim sum dishes I like, so I had no complaints. The flavors were spot on, even without soy sauce, and I didn't feel thirsty after the meal at all, which is already a good sign. I was a bit disappointed with the har gow wrapper because it was a bit too floury. The shrimp spring rolls were fried so much that the shape completely changed, and I couldn't recognize them at first.
Overall, we paid around $38ish for two people, which was a really good value for the portion sizes. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I noticed that a lot of people were ordering takeout as well. Highly recommended!”
“Great experience! The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and the service was excellent. The staff were very polite and made us feel welcome. The food came out quickly and tasted fantastic!”
“The food was really good, full of flavor and definitely one of the better meals we’ve had in a while. It’s great to finally find a place where the taste stands out. The only downside was the long waiting lines, and the staff seemed quite overwhelmed. Service could be smoother, but the food makes it worth trying.”

“I was really surprised. Design is very nice, Chinese, Traditional. Then lady was singing with very good voice. Then food is great. I love this place and recommend it!”
“I’ve been consistently going here for the past 2 years since they’ve re-opened and the food has always been amazing. My two favorite dishes have to be the spicy pork and their seafood pancake. Definitely going to keep coming back.”
“I went to this place for the first time last Sunday and ordered 2 pastrami melts, a 1/2 pound of brisket, and a brisket slider with fries. I have to say if you’re looking to treat yourself and your family out with some Fire good tasting food then visit this place. If you want quality then go here. Everything that I ordered was absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent. Khalaf was very kind and friendly.”
“Great food, large portions at a great price. Has a mix of foods, Thai and crepes. Aa to the crepes they have combinations I’ve not seen before, i.e. Indian inspired. Staff are very pleasant. Offers indoor and outdoor seating.”
“go-to spot for a comfortable family meal. The vibe is always lively and welcoming, making it a great choice when you want a casual sit-down dinner without any pretense”
“First time visiting and we expected a old style diner style restaurant with dated decor from the 2000s. We were pleasantly surprised by the remodel. The restaurant is clean , bright and fairly modern. As for the food, the first thing we noticed is the generous portion sizes. The chicken fried steak with biscuits and 2 eggs with a side of hash browns that we ordered came in 2 separate plates. We don't go out for breakfast often so we can't really judge or compare Bills Cafe to other similar establishments, but we will say the food was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but everything was solid. The chicken fried steak was piping hot, eggs were done right and the sausage patties were legitimately good.
Service was excellent and our friend ly and helpful waitress came by often to refill our coffee. Our food arrived quickly as well...less than 10 minutes after we ordered.
Other have reported a bad experience but that wasn't us. We were happy with our meal and we will return. Next time We'll try something more carb heavy like pancakes or waffles or french toast...they looked pretty good on the adjacent tables. Maybe we'll try the steak and eggs. It looked pretty hefty from a distance. Anyway..
next time”
“Everything you want in a good breakfast and lunch spot. I came here almost every week day for my business trip and it was great food and great service every time. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly!”
“Mumbai Chowk serves delicious staples and coastal Indian food! Personally I haven’t had Indian seafood dishes but their Pomfret fish fry thali is one our favorites! the goan fish curry, chicken kolhapuri, and butter chicken are some of other favorites!”
“Best food ever great service been to all three highly recommended 😋5 star's definitely”
“It's small, so the wait for a dine in table can take a bit, but the food quality is worth the wait. Our family has loved everything we have tried. this is one of a handful of local restaurants my 10 year old some will never complain about!”
“Such a special and wonderful restaurant! You’ll get the chance to try the tasty food and also enjoy live music! 🎶 This is my go-to restaurant now. We also hosted our alumni events here and got tons of positive feedback! 🎉”
“OMG, I just had the best pizza of my life!!! I was already planning to leave a 5-star review for the calzone, and then I tried the pizza, it just keeps getting better and better. All 🍖 🥓”
“Amazing taste ! Loved the presentation ! I ordered Two tier cake- bottom vanilla cake with Nutella cream cheese Top tier chocolate cake with Nutella cream cheese ! Mouth watering taste.”
“Good food, close to Kolkata taste but sorshe ilish was not good at all. Rest are nice. Misti doi is awesome- must try”
“Mr. Lau's Steak House (劉月鐵板.居酒屋) provides authentic Taiwanese-style steak meal, which left me feeling happy after eating it. The set meal includes black pepper rib eye steak (8 ounces, medium rare), lettuce salad, garlic bread, an egg, and spaghetti. The price is so inexpensive and the meal is so delicious. I definitely will be coming back again and again!”
“Maybe it was what we ordered or just a one off but the overall dining experience at Chowrasta just did not leave that feeling of satisfaction one should get after eating a delicious meal. The place was empty and looking at the seating capacity, it is more of a to go place. The hunt for Hyderabadi haleem brought us to this place. We also got the Mutton Mandi. Both of these dishes were served in plastic containers ready to go. The goat leg shank was tender and juicy but the Mandi rice was lacking flavor. The Haleem was better of the two items. Street Parking is a pain in this area especially in rush hours. Probably will try the Biryanis next time we are here and mostly will do a take out.”
“Wadaya hasn't left my mind yet. I love that the noodles are thicker than Kajiken. It makes for a chewier bite which I prefer. I'd say the taste is similar to Kajiken but maybe the flavor at Kajiken is a bit better. I definitely like the noodles here more. The absolute star of the show is the tiny scoop of rice they give you at the end to mix in with your extra sauce. I wasn't a believer at first until I actually tried it. Best bite ever. Holy.”
“From the outside, this restaurant looks small and fairly modest, but the moment you walk in it feels like stepping into a different world. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully decorated with charming details that make you feel like you’re dining in a historic restaurant in a small Italian town.
The highlight of my visit was the Branzino. It was absolutely fantastic—perfectly cooked, moist, and tender. The fish is quite large, but the flavor is so good that you never get tired of it. The pasta served with it pairs beautifully with the dish.
The calamari and wine recommended by our server were also excellent. Our server initially seemed a bit serious, but turned out to be very friendly and funny, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. Definitely a place worth visiting!”
“Chi Xiao Guo seems to be gone. Now it’s Liu Yue Teppanyaki Cuisine. They don’t sell hot pot in summer, but the Teppanyaki cuisine is also delicious. It’s very similar to the signature Teppanyaki Noodles at Taiwan’s night markets. Love! Definitely will come again : )”
“It was our first time to go to this restaurant. The food was good, cooked fresh and hot. We liked the food very much and our server was wonderful. Looking forward to go again. #vegnchatcuisine #papihanandy #review #fremont #california #vegetarian #chholebhature #thali #vegthali #restaurant”
“The sushi is always solid and they have an amazing variety of options. Even of you don't want sushi they still have plenty of other options, their Terriyaki chicken/beef are both amazing and my personal favorite from them.”
“Great food and quick service. There was wait for 15 mins on weekend. I love the quality of meat. The bone marrow and the guava soju were amazing. Great vibe. They had a free ice cream candy as well.”
“Absolutely loved their soft shell crab Khao Soi. The curry was deep, rich, perfectly seasoned. The combination of crispy and soft noodles. And an expertly fried soft shell crab made it magical. Wouldn't hesitate to come back and get this dish again.”
“Highly recommend this meat shop. Everything is fresh, well-cut, and the selection is impressively complete. From BBQ cuts to hot pot slices, you can find everything you need in one place. Big portions, fair prices — great quality for the value.”
“So good! The food was super flavorful and tasted really authentic. Perfect balance of spicy and numbing — exactly what I was craving. The crispy chicken and peppercorn fish were amazing!
Service was friendly and quick, and everyone was really nice. Great spot for Sichuan food — will definitely be back!”
“okay, I love Sichuan and Hunan style because they have so much flavor. there's also Shanghai cuisine, which has flavor without the chillies of Sichuan/Hunan.
today, we went to Fremont to Shanghai Flavor. it's a super good Shanghainese restaurant.
it opens at 11.30 on Saturday. within 20 minutes, it was full. folks, it's a small place, but that's fine. great service.
if you can, get an order of moon cakes. only available on special occasions.
if you're on the peninsula, we're lucky to have Chef Zhao Kitchen in Palo Alto.”
“Great spot. I had the rare steak & meatball pho (p5) They provide culantro, highlighting commitment to flavor. The kitchen was having fun, I think it is important to have happy employees.”
“Thanks to some amazing IG posts we decided to visit Khati Peeti yesterday in Fremont. The restaurant is amazing, while it took a couple minutes to get us checked in and seated at peak lunch time on Sunday, we weren’t sure if the service would be fast.
Happy to review that their service and their food flavors were bang-on.
The Dahi puri, sheel kaba orders came quickly and the plates were cleared equally fast. As if on queue the main course arrived as soon as the starters
We’re finished. The naans and Lula were perfectly cooked and flavored and so was the paneer entree. A dessert order and receipt were fast as well..
on the way out we met both father and son owners duo.
We will be back soon! Great job Khaati Peeti!!”
“la mas Buena pizza 🍕 The best pizza like never never lik this for real”
“I went to Chacha go with my daughter in law last week. I got a strawberry black tea with boba (25% sweetened) and it was delicious. Boba was just right. I'll be wanting to go to Chacha go again next time I'm in Fremont.”
“Loved the sushi here - the fish is high quality, price is good for the quality of the fish, and the ambiance is nice: clean, spacious and brightly lit.
Highly recommend the omakase: 10 pieces for $46. The presentation of the nigiri was excellent and it was all delicious.”
“I went to this place for the first time last weekend and I did enjoyed the food a lot. The service was good and the food was also decent. They have so many different kinds of banchan, and they all tasted fresh and delicious. The hot stone bibimbap was good and not oily. We also ordered a kimchi pancake, I thought the flavor was good but since it was on the thicker side, so it lost a bit of the crunch and it was very filling. Overall, I like the food here and will definitely go back.”
“Today we said a sad goodbye to the last Fremont Resident of the Williams Family😞 Pops was so loved and appreciated and it showed today at his services ,though I didn’t go to the burial for the fact of I couldn’t see my Best Friends Frankie’s Ashes being buried with his Father & I find out after that they didn’t lower the casket until everyone was gone 😞I did go to Coaches today and ALL I kept finding myself doing was looking for Pops or waiting for him to walk in as that is where I would always meet him rather if it was for him to get in on my football pools or to change the motor for his windows of his Mercedes or some type of work to his car no matter what it was for that was where you could always find Pops with his hotspot papers in one hand a a cold Bud Light in the other 🥃cheers 🥂to you Pops your going to be missed by so many as you already are love you Please give my love to Mom Kevin and my brother Frankie 🙏🏽🙏🏽 RIP Frank Williams Jr.”
“Wow. Why only 2.4 stars ? They must of just opened cause this is way better than wing stop. it was so good my god my tastebuds just had an orgasm ! Yes I’ll be coming back if the food stays fresh like that !!! Gotta wipe my mouth ? lord.”
“I don't normally leave any kind of review, but this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. First, food - what you come for - is top notch... they buy fresh fish, not frozen, to serve. Best simple tekka-don I've had in the SF area (including SF, Berkeley, and SJ). Second, atmosphere: it's a small Japan-style bistro... very pleasant and not overdone. Third, the staff: very friendly... it feels like a family business. The location is off the beaten path in a small plaza off Paseo Padre in Fremont. But it's totally worth going out of the way for.”
“Bomb 💣.com not bad for the price I got full of the large poke bowl”
“If you are into spicy hotpot, this is the best tasting place in the Bay Area I have found so far. The service can be slow if it’s crowded, and the environment is average. But who cares? We are here to eat some good food, not stare at the decoration.”
“Really good and friendly service! Can’t ask for anything more”
“Great food! Love ❤️ all that we ordered. And the bubble teas, too”
“The best grilled chicken ever....never dry! the garlic sauce is superb as well!”
“Kinda my favorite place til recently. Waiter F’d blamed me. 4 dined, we gave our order. 1 person changed their order, so 3 meals ended up being the same, then there was mine. They ended changing my order instead of the other person, he argued with me until he realized he messed up, never said sorry, and then still got my order wrong by cook my salmon well instead of veggies, which they forgot to add, but I paid anyways, to go.”
“3.5 stars rounded up
No wait on a Saturday when they opened at 11am.
Very friendly service. Large portion sizes so 4 dishes were more than enough for 5 of us.
Bamboo Shoot Shredded Pork - this was an unique item, I've never seen this anywhere before. The pork was tender and had good flavor. The bamboo shoots were soft and had good texture but not as much flavor as the pork.
Braised Tofu or whatever it is called on the menu- looks salty because of the dark color but it was”
“This place is humble but is quite awesome! I'm not a lover of tofu, but Mom's does an excellent job of making it well! I recommend the bugogi of course, but also the pork kimchi soup was really good! I'm not Korean, or even Asian for that matter, but that soup felt like a home cooked meal from a loved one. Have to add, at the end of your meal, they bring a small cup of pumpkin juice.. I love that stuff too! Highly recommend visiting this spot!”
“Great Sichuan food and great atmosphere. I got five dishes and I recommend all of them:
- Tender Beef in Spicy Sauce
- Kung Pao Chicken
- Pork Fried Rice
- Dandan Noodles
- Dry Cooked String Beans
If you’re not a fan of spicy, feel free to omit the Tender Beef in Spicy Sauce, but you are truly missing out.
Service was also great! Very attentive and kind :)”
“Amazing place for yakitori food, chef Sherman really knows quality and simplicity for yakitori food. I highly recommend this place especially when you get togethers with great friends. 5 stars out of 5”
“Food 5/5 - Ordered pineapple shrimp fried rice and hainan chicken rice, both were delicious. The pineapple shrimp fried rice had lots of big pieces of shrimp, and had good “wok-hei”. Hainan chicken rice, the chicken had good texture and the sauces were good.
Price $$ - Price is good for the portions that were served.
Service 3/5 - Service is average. Water is brought to you after you sit, and you’ll need to flag down a server for service.
Atmosphere 4/5 - Interior is good with modern themed decor.
Overall - Had a pleasant experience and would visit again.”
“I always feel so welcome at Strizzi’s, thanks especially to Jessica, Jessa, Brenda and Evelyn. They greet me warmly every time I come in, take my order quickly, and the food arrives before I even know it and it’s always fresh, always delicious. I almost always go with something simple, like spaghetti marinara, and I swear it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. More than anything, what keeps me coming back are those amazing servers: they’re the sweetest, most genuine people you could hope to meet. Their kindness and care make the whole experience feel personal, and that turns a meal into something special. I can’t recommend Strizzi’s highly enough.”
“Best food ever great service been to all three highly recommended 😋5 star's definitely”
“We’ve been loyal customers for years. Recently, we ordered catering for an event, and the food was absolutely delicious and well-received by all our guests. The service was impeccable, and the owner himself personally delivered the food, which was a huge compliment. I highly recommend this restaurant for dining and catering.”
“We had order special menu fish in two ways: fry tofu. Fish ball.
Olive vegetable (橄榄菜), lettuce dish, black fungus & locus cordyceps flowed/ vegetarian
Portion is big, all dishes are very delicious and even forget to take pictures.
I did take pictures for menus
This is an excellent restaurant, definitely come back again!”
“Me and my family went to this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was out of the charts. The spice was just perfect for everyone and we all enjoyed. One of the best restaurants that we have ate at.”
“Great food. Very nicely prepared, tasty and served hot. Vibe is hotel lobby restaurant vibe. Service is slowish and our particular waitress seemed to be on the tipping point.”
“Open, spacious dining area- adequate for banquets of 60 tables. Private dining room has space for 30 customers. Karaoke with 50ft. screen. Great fresh seafood dinner and dim sum lunch. Fast and friendly services. Tasteful decorations. Prices are reasonable given quality of dishes.”
“Always good. I come here to eat whenever I'm in the area. Best canto food and in a clean and nice location with plenty of parking. Is located in the parking lot of a business area, which I find kind of weird but totally awesome for the fact that it's easily accessible.
This place also serves dim sum thoughout the day, which is a total plus in my opinion because most places don't serve them some past 2:00 p.m.
The dim sum is actually pretty legit and traditional. You can get pretty busy during lunch time, but it moves pretty quickly.”
“Forgot to pack my to go order for tempura.
Ordered udon to go and got home and it was soggy.
Would recommend they package the noodles and tempura flakes seperatly so it doesn’t become all mushy”
“I was searching for a dim sum place and this restaurant’s name came up with decent reviews. I went there but found out that they no longer serve dim sum, only the regular Chinese food menu. We ended up ordered congee and lobster noodles and those were quite good.”
“If you’re from Delhi n craving the authentic Dilli ke tikke, this is THE place to be!! Highly occupied with wait time to be expected because the food is worth it all! The Buttery Chicken Tikka and Rumali Roti combo is to die for. The owners are super sweet and specially offered us ‘mishri’ when we didn’t like the green saunf. Amazing place & food!”

“This is an amazing restaurant! Their food is great. We’ve catered big orders from them twice, and they’ve never let us down—their prices are fair, and they’re always on time. They have a wide variety of halal options, and their staff is personable and friendly. 10/10 recommend.”

“I had the pleasure of enjoying some incredibly delicious Pav Bhaji and a mouthwatering sandwich, both prepared with care and served with quick, efficient, and hygienic service by Divya. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was spot on, making for a satisfying and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving tasty street food with a clean and professional touch!”
“One of the good sign of simple but great clean food is look at menu options. A lot for time a place with very limited menu is the one where you would have great food quality in every food you order.
This was the case here. But keep in mind the Flavors here are Karnataka style. So you can't complain about Sambhar being on the sweeter side. Don't walk here expecting spicy food.
I tried Ponnugulu and Podi Masala Dosa and I enjoyed it thoroughly.”

“Upon entry, I found the associates courteous with their smiles and slight bowing from the waist. A very Asian trait that, on top of the recording of the music of internationally renowned Arjit Singh in the background, added authenticity to the place. The servers were professional yet very warm and friendly. I ordered the flat bread with broccoli and onions, with a request to tone down the spiciness because of a previously bad experience with Indian food in San Diego. The flat bread was served hot with the delicious aroma of the spices wafting from the generous helping of the round bread that filled the entire 12" diameter pan! I was able to see and enjoy the taste of both the broccoli and onions in the flat bread. It was even served with a side of sliced fresh onions in vinegar and soy sauce together with another side of white sauce that tasted like cream of broccoli soup. Everything on the table, including a complimentary mango-with-yogurt drink, was a perfect blend, and I did not have to drench the table napkin nor my shirt with my sweat due to the level of spices tolerated by Indians but excessive to non-Indians. They gave me, a non-Indian, a spicy meal that I relished earlier this evening! Kudos to the entire staff!”
“The vibe here is really lively. You can feel the desi atmosphere as soon as you walk into Chandini Chowk. We ordered Samosa Chaat and Pani Puri. The Samosa Chaat was delicious, packed with chutneys and yogurt. The Pani Puri comes with different types of water, and you get eight pieces to choose from flavors like mint, khatta meetha, kala khatta, pineapple, and mango. I really liked the khatta meetha pani the best. The chaat came out quickly, but we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the pani puri. The best part is that we didn’t have to wait aimlessly, it was well organized with buzzers.”

“We came here based on recommendation and it did not disappoint us. I had the smash burger and my wife has the zing 1 chicken medium. I think the chicken sandwich is much better and highly recommended. Chicken is soft and tender. The smash burger was great too and the place is very nice with comfortable chair and prayer section.”
“For romantic atmosphere and healthy options”
“Yesterday me and my wife tried annachikadai Fremont location for the first time. We went to watch a movie in cine lounge and then stopped here for lunch. We ordered vaazhai ilai virundhu (non-veg) and mutton biryani.
Banana leaf virundhu was really worth the price. Unlimited dishes. Everything was so fresh. My wife and I loved their parrotta (freshly made), chicken 65(hot, crispy and finger licking good), rasam (was out of the world) we had 3 cups and gulped it. It was like our mom’s preparation. I simply will go only to drink rasam. My god it was out of the world. Chicken curry, mutton curry, nethili fish kuzhambu, and fresh curd, kootu, appalam and kesari(I didn’t taste it, my wife mentioned it was good). You cannot share this meals with another person.
Mutton biryani - Was good and not that great honestly. It was jeeraga samba rice with ample pieces of mutton served with raita and Salan. I would prefer if it was prepared freshly , I felt it was cooked earlier during the day or previous day. May be I’m wrong. But we packed it home and my son loved it.
Overall definitely recommend this place for families and friends to come and try their authentic Tamil Nadu dishes. I met their chef and founder John who was very friendly and cool to speak with. Great service and great hospitality overall.”
“I’ve been here many times with my family, and each time has been an absolute joy! We come in the mornings for breakfast and commonly order the Tianjing style tofu pudding and Tianjing style savory crepe, which I recommend to anyone who wants to try this restaurant out!”
“I was passing by when I saw this place and thought to try out Kabul sweets. It's a small cozy place to hangout with friends. It was in the evening, so I went and ordered their falooda drink and Kabul ice cream. The place was busy at 10.00 pm and I kinda liked the vibe, with family sitting and chatting while having their favourite sweets. I was surprised for every item they have sizes, small medium large and extra large. So you have so many choices. I ordered medium and hence I got it in a box instead of a glass for falooda. So next time I know I will ask them to give me in a glass instead of a box as it's easy to drink that way. The service was great a very humble person at the counter who took my order and within few minutes I was able to take by order and leave. The ambience is beautifully decorated. I will highly recommend this place for sure.”
“Finally gave this place a try after knowing about it for years. It’s a great spot to enjoy a chill, sunny afternoon. The burger has that classic local freshness - it’s the kind of taste you think of when you want a real neighborhood burger. Instead of classic milkshakes, they offer bubble tea menu, which is a really cool cultural fusion.
I’ll definitely be back!”
“Delicious food. When I see a post that they will be coming I will put my order in soon as possible. Always accommodating. Will go out their way to customize or make your request. All I can say is I wish it was a permanent establishment. Especially since it’s halal, it’s mouth watering. One bite and your taste buds will be like “ where you been this whole time”.”
“Fast service… pay once you are done eating. Do not feel like in fast food setting. You pick your seat and order what you want. Awesome filter coffee. They have Dosa happy hour. And quality of food is great. Even the 3 chutney they give you is tasty. Overall one of the best in town.”
“The food was really good, full of flavor and definitely one of the better meals we’ve had in a while. It’s great to finally find a place where the taste stands out. The only downside was the long waiting lines, and the staff seemed quite overwhelmed. Service could be smoother, but the food makes it worth trying.”
“Taco stand in parking lot of brewery. Bring cash or pay with Zelle. Long line, but worth the wait. Fresh handmade tortillas. Tacos are not small. Tried pastor, cabeza, lengua and asada; our favorite was asada. It has a smoky flavor and with the fresh guacamole. We will be back.”
“we've been 3 times in the past few months and every time was great. we went the day after my wife's birthday, the same day our pet passed, and the staff made it a very special experience and distraction from our loss. absolutely recommend 110%. great food, great people, great experience overall.”
