I recently dined at Guadalajara and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The Menudo I ordered tasted unclean, leaving me no choice but to stop after the first bite. Moreover, the rest of the food was below average in terms of taste and quality. Overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

Great Menudo and you can't beat homemade tortillas to go with that. Servers were very attentive. Maybe too attentive? But more is better than less. Great find and I hope to go back.

The meat in the Chili Colorado was very hard to chew. Also the portion was small for the price ( even though I didn't eat it). The tortillas are not very good. The place is super small, tight seating. I don't understand why they got an award. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

I go an order a menudo and they ask me what size, so I say a small since it's for my senior father. When i get the menudo she bags it and i noticed no tortillas. I ask doesn't it come with tortillas she says no. I ask wonder why since you ask me what size? She replied because it's cheaper. Who eats a menudo without tortillas? My father lives in Madera so just threw it away and made an order of menudo at Maranatha in Madera. Homemade fresh corn tortillas. Was disappointed not sure if it's a valid complaint but for sure left me unhappy at Guadalajara.. Just figured tortillas should be part of the meal.. Who eats spaghetti without bread?

This place is cozy, kinda strange location, but the service was great, friendly and fast. The food was amazing ?. Very delicious and good quality, quantity for price. Definitely going to be a regular.
Found this place open on New Year's Day. And what a find! Had the tostada on a homemade crispy shell with fresh guacamole cheese tomato and lettuce. The sauces were homemade also. Also had a couple of veggie tacos and a super burrito. The chicken in the burrito was super fresh and home made shredded. Nothing was too salty just perfect authentic seasoning. The veggie tacos were not on the menu, but they improvised and it was perfect. Just the right amount of beans cheese fresh avocado lettuce tomato. When you enter the restaurant, you get overcome from the smells of fresh cooked food, almost like a barbecue in the kitchen next-door. Our food was to go, but it would've been fun to hang out on the patio. Maybe next time.

The food and service was on point. Always forget about this place, used to go here 30+ years ago and always has been good. I'm writing a review today because the service was over the top good, couldn't have been more attentive.

I didn't want to post this because I go here often. Make sure you check your food before you leave. The meat on the asada was unacceptably burnt. This place has really went downhill. Was good since i was a child and this place has really went downhill. I won't be returning. Even worse as i am writing this my lady finds a hair in her soup.
