I asked for medium rare. Got medium. Chicken was dry. I think I will stick to Teriyaki Don for steak and chicken bowl. Their spicy mayo sauce was delicious 5/5.

The bacon fried rice had really good flavor but I would like it less chewy, and the chicken is too dry. I've had it twice and both times I've had the same experience with dry chicken.

Worst tempura I've ever had. I understand there will be some residual oil considering they are a fried item. But i was not expecting a pool of oil. Tempura was soggy and not crispy at all.

I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just kind of meh. I will say, it was my leftover spicy mayo sauce from this place that I ended up reverse engineering a recipe to make it at home, so I thank them for that. Compared to traditional tepanyaki, the prices at this place are better, but the taste just doesn't come close. I had to smother everything in the spicy mayo sauce to make it worthwhile. No hate, it's just food has to be pretty far above mediocre for me to feel not ripped off for spending money on it. And I ate at this place in May of 2023, and here in January of 2024, I've never been back. Spending $30 on lunch that's just ok just isn't my thing. Service was pretty good considering they were new and busy at the time, but the atmosphere is also nothing special. Just another order at the counter fast casual place.
