I really wanted to like this place, but the food was just kind of meh. I will say, it was my leftover spicy mayo sauce from this place that I ended up reverse engineering a recipe to make it at home, so I thank them for that. Compared to traditional tepanyaki, the prices at this place are better, but the taste just doesn't come close. I had to smother everything in the spicy mayo sauce to make it worthwhile. Good, but not great. This was an okay combo steak/shrimp post workout meal but not something I'd run back to or would bother me if I didn't. Service was great, friendly...nice smiling faces from the girls and good eye contact. Me like. Having read about 'the dry chicken' in too many of the reviews, I skipped it ordering my combo with an extra side of spicy mayo. As I arrived about 5:30 PM, it was a peak period and so I understood they wouldn't be able to remove it from the grill...read full review

Was craving some bacon fried rice the other day, so we decided on Spicy Mayo Hibachi, as I'd heard good stuff about them. They're out in front of the ALDI on West Shaw. You order at the counter, then they had about ten tables for eating in. The hubby and I wanted to try it all, so we both ordered the trio (not on the menu, but it had chicken, shrimp and NY steak). $21 for each plate. Food didn't take long to be prepared.
