Came here to Order Fish Taco Plate, the Cashiers were very attentive and very friendly, however but I waited 12 Minutes for my Order and the cabbage was slimy and the Fish Tacos tasted Overcooked.....definitely not worth the wait or price.

I ordered a California bowl with shrimp. I received 5 shrimp. My rice was over cooked and the bean portion was little to none. It was basically mush rice 5 shrimp smothered In chipotle sauce. The guys working were friendly and nice the food not so great. Would not come back to this Rubio. Wish I saw reviews before I ate here.

Rubio's Mexican Restaurant inside Amerige Heights Town Center has so much potential! They always serve delicious fish tacos and shrimp burritos that never disappoint. However, I think there are ways to improve the dining experience at Rubio's, which could attract more customers and make it even better. The high chair tables, while unique, may not cater to the comfort of all guests. Considering a switch to more conventional seating could offer a more relaxed and inviting ambiance. Additionally, remodeling the outside dining patio could unlock its full potential, transforming it into a vibrant space that attracts more diners. An inviting outdoor area, perhaps with ambient lighting and comfortable seating, would be the perfect complement to the delicious food and could turn Rubio's into the go-to spot for casual diners. With a few adjustments to the seating arrangement and an enhancement of the outdoor dining space, I believe Rubio's can truly flourish! The presence of nearby schools and offices can bring in a lot of potential customers, particularly during lunch, after-school, and dinner times, leading to substantial foot traffic. Furthermore, the recent opening of Kids Empire (Indoor Playground) within this plaza is expected to draw a significant number of visitors on weekends. Just throwing my two cents as I want this place to thrive!

Love fish burrito!

Food is good and made fresh, so it can be a bit slow to come out. The salsa bar has a good variety of flavors and spiciness. They serve beer. But the bathroom at this location was very gross when I was there in December of 2023.

Beyond awful. Swore I would never set foot in a Rubios again after my last experience about 5 years ago but my grandkids really wanted to go. If anything it is worse. The street tacos were pathetic with tiny amount of chicken and some guacamole that did not tastes like it was made with real avocados. Chips that came with tacos were stale. My granddaughter ordered a bowl that was so small and tasted so bad she would not eat it. On top of that the place was not clean. Dirty tables , salsa bar was a mess and the trash area was bad too. $32 wasted on food that was inedible. How this place stays in business is a mystery to me. Never again.

Service is good. Ambiance is chill. Good place to pick up a quick snack. Food can vary in taste from time to time.

Had made a special detour into Fullerton to visit Le Potager, but knew I needed to eat something and take a potty break before heading back to Burbank. Ended up at this shopping center and scoped the options. Decided to go with old reliable Rubio's. The fish tacos were fantastic as usual. I sat outside and enjoyed the summer as much as possible since I knew I'd be heading back to winter immediately upon my return home. Nice little terrace here. Super chill. Prices are good. Staff was busy, but not to the point of rudeness.

Yesterday I went ahead and order the shrimp gourmet tacos with out cilantro and onions And again they put cilantro and onions on my tacos I don't know why is to hard to understand when the customer says that they don't want something on their food it's either because they are alergic to it or they don't want it in their food managers should be more careful since employees are not paying attention to what customers are asking for it very disappointing with this restaurant

$14 bucks for what seems to be a half empty bowl. The service is great but the portions are very poor. I was expecting a little more food for the price.

Ordered steak nachos and it barely had any steak meat. The nachos were so dry. They were horrible and a waste of my money. Better off going to 711 for some better nachos then this place. Waste of money!!!

Unbelievable!!! We had the lobster burrito and there was no lobster or Fresca (fresh tomatoes & onion)!!! It was 80% rice, beans and sauce!!!! Paid over $33 for two burritos and one drink!!! Beyond angry!!!!!!
