The chicken is great with a distinctive flavor. The sides are awesome. And I can think of no other restaurant in The OC that has sweetened iced tea.

Hadnt did a review in years. My youngest daughter and I wanted subway across the way but we flipped a coin and Popeyes won. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches with no pickles and of course they added pickles. Horrible! We also ordered a 12 piece meal with mashed potatoes and cajun fries that comes with 6 biscuits. Long and behold we opened the bag at our house. No Biscuits! Jeez! Last but not least. The chicken was just a bunch of oil and batter and more oil. No flavor or salt whats so ever! Flavorless chicken. Never in my 42 years had a tasteless chicken. Sorry to say Popeyes just lost my family of 6. Going back to Jollibee in Cerritos at least they don't disappoint.

So disappointed. I keep trying to give this location a chance and it just seems like it's getting worse and worse. Tonight they forgot to give me a chicken sandwich and mac and cheese. Also, ordered the non spicy chicken sandwich and both came with extra spicy sauce and just the wrong sandwiches. I won't ever go back to this location. Don't waste your time and money.

The chicken was over cooked and slightly burned . It appeared as if it had been refried. Thought the skin had some spicy flavoring , the chicken was bland and dry. The service person was rude not allowing to complete my sentence when ordering , asking multiple times "is that it ?". My intention was to get a large order. However after the intersction with the staff , I opted for a much smaller order. The service and product both suffer.

Love Popeyes. unfortunately they always run out of what I want to order at 820pm. After 6 they never have chicken tenders or popcorn shrimp. ok ill just order the 8 piece classic chicken meal.....they only have spicy ?!!This is the 3rd time in 4 months.I thought Maybe its just the location off knott and Chapman....NOPE....its all the locations within a 8 miles distance....

My son and I got lunch to go. For me, I had the 2pc Chicken Meal. The chicken was good. Loved the crispy skin. The French Fries had light seasoning but tasted like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a while. I did not finish the rest after only having 3. The Cole Slaw was literally cut up like square confetti and tasted like they were about to spoil. That is too bad because I was really looking forward to having it with my chicken. Maybe they were just having an off day. Maybe it is just this location, but the other Popeyes by my house is always very good. I am undecided on whether or not I will give this location another try.
