The good:I tried the rolled cake with strawberry. I love Japanese pastries and how they take European influences. They're often not too sweet compared with American sweets. The cake texture was really smooth as though the sugar and flour were very fine. It had a pound cake-like consistency. The cream was very light and fluffy rather than creamy. This is a retro review for a visit back on February 28, 2023. The bakery is located at the food court of Tokyo Central (the one on Artesia Blvd. and Western Ave. ). They have both indoor and semi-outdoor dining areas. I like the semi-outdoor area as it has more space, sunshine, and fresh air. The staff are super duper friendly and polite.
