“As a devoted food lover, Dirt Dog- Gardena, is a Southern California experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a striking large wall mural of the Legends of West Coast Hip Hop, adding to the laid-back vibe that California is known for.The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, from bacon wrapped hot dogs to birria tacos to fried Oreos! But when in doubt, you simply can't go wrong with a classic dirty dog and a side of filthy fries. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more.Refreshing beer on tap perfectly complements the bold flavors of the food and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.Overall, Dirt Dog in Gardena is a must-visit destination for any food lover in Los Angeles. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect spot to indulge in a taste of the West Coast.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
“Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.”

“I’ve been to Japan four times in the last five years. I have friends who live in Kyoto and they take me to their favorite sushi spots. They also tell me where to go in Tokyo, where they spend a lot of their time.I never had sushi as good in Japan as I did last night in Gardena. I’m not kidding. The chef is very dedicated. He considers the entire experience from start to finish. So do a lot of other chefs at great Omakase spots in LA.What is different about Sonagi is that the chef is very into choosing his seafood based on the season. I’m not going to spend time going across each dish but you’re not going to get the typical fish here. I’m pretty sure that if the chef thinks some seafood item is seasonally better than Otoro, that’s what’s gonna get served.I’ve never had rice like the rice served in that small bowl. Crispy and perfect. The soup and the desserts were also incredible. They have two seatings, which I’ve seen in a few other places. Everyone at the sushi bar is served each dish at pretty much exactly the same time. This lends itself to meeting people at the bar. It’s almost like a get together at the chef’s home. One other nice touch: Before leaving, guests are presented with a fine stationary printout of each dish and its sourcing.Special place!”
“I woke up craving Spaghetti and Meatballs..and found this place.. Ordered a full pastrami sandwich and spaghetti and meatballs..Upon arrival, i realized that I have been in this place before, about 25 years ago or so.The spaghetti and meatballs was phenomenal, with 3 meatballs, and sauce to spaghetti ratio on point.Pastrami sandwich had the perfect moisture and flavor, just the right amount of mustard, would have like a bit more pickles but still a great sandwich.I hate that I didn't get the names of those who attended to me, but 100% great customer service.Safe to say. This is going to be a must go to for me at least once a month..”
“I luv it here. The sandwhiches are so good. All fresh ingredients. The employees are nice . The place is clean. The portion sizes are huge . U will not be disaapointed .”

“You will not find better service than when you enter Borjstar. Honestly, they treat you like a star. They are attentive and incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is just as great. Very flavorful and leaves you wanting more! They also have a yogurt/ice cream dispenser so you can treat yourself before/after your meal. Put Borjstar on your list of restaurants to visit in the Gardena/South Bay area. You won't regret it!”

“Had such a delicious dinner here. We knew they were known for their soba and tempura and we enjoyed these for sure, but I can’t stop thinking about the Berkshire pork rice dish! The atmosphere was cozy and the service was so friendly. Also thought the prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. I’m looking forward to going back!Parking: Limited free parking lot in the back”

“Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!”
“TMJ Café - A Haven for Donut Lovers If there's one thing you must try at TMJ Café, it's their Maple Bacon Donut. This delightful treat is nothing short of phenomenal. The donut itself is pillow-soft, providing the perfect canvas for the rich, sweet and savory toppings. The maple glaze is expertly balanced - not too sweet, just perfectly syrupy, complementing the crispy, savory bacon on top. Each bite is a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that leaves you craving more. The ambiance of TMJ Café adds to the experience, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that they put a lot of love and care into their baked goods. And if the Maple Bacon Donut is anything to go by, the rest of their menu promises to be just as delightful. In summary, TMJ Café is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Maple Bacon Donut is a standout, and I am eagerly looking forward to indulging in the rest of their delicious offerings. Oh goodness gracious, this is a donut lover's dream come true!”
“Love letter pizza and chicken is so good! Local mom and pop shop with amazing chicken and pizza. The salad could use some work but the main dishes hit home for sure. I recommend getting the crust fill in and the fried chicken! Best local Korean fried chicken near Gardena!”
“BEST RESTAURANT HERE IN THE SOUTH BAY.BEEF and EGG Bowl....Got to try it !!!!!Everything is so good. No more Yoshinoya for me. This place is 10x Better...Check Reviews ALL 5 STARS.”
“Good Thai food for the money and it comes out pretty quick. almost fast food like. Selection limited. Order at the counter, and they bring our the food to your table.”

“went here around March of this year, the staff were super nice (despite it being late around 9-10 pm) and the drinks were pretty good! I would def come back the next time im in gardena :3”
“I wanted to love this hole in the wall Japanese spot. The portions are borderline grotesque large (bang for your buck I guess), but the food itself had some misses. The potato croquettes were pretty good, and the chicken katsu curry generally had a good taste, but the curry itself had chunks of chicken that were so overcooked that I felt like I was chewing dissolving erasers. My friend’s teriyaki chicken was similar in that it tasted good, but was mostly over burned. The staff was hustling and were nice, albeit straight to the point.Vegetarian options: I did see a fair amount of vegetarian option, but meat dishes are definitely more prevalent.”
“Fresh, simple and delicious is the best way to describe the Nigiri. It just melted in your mouth. Have to try this small little place in a crowded little shopping center off of Western.”
“Galbi, Corn Cheese, and Soju just make the perfect night out ! Kko Kko Yang is literally the hidden gem for amazing Korean BBQ in Gardena! I can't believe I only found out about this place recently and I've lived in Southbay LA all my life! We got their brisket and galbi which was so tender and delicious. They have so many good sides such as their steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi pancake, and banchan, and we even ordered some refreshing cold noodles on the side. My favorite part was pouring the corn cheese in the galbi and letting it sizzle on the grill! This place is known for their gopchang, aka intestines, but they have so many unique cuts of meat here to grill! We tried their gopchang, daechang, abomasum and beef heart as well, and the staff really knows how to cook these cuts! Nothing was overly chewy and it's hard to find places that can do this right. Definitely recommend checking them out the next time you want a delicious and different KBBQ experience!”
“The duck is incredible!!! Period! My food was so good that I totally forgot to take a picture of my plate before I started eating ? I loved it and will go back! Wrist check, I am wearing the Seiko Presage Prestige SARX045 JDM release on the Hirsch Liberty leather strap.”
“Husband and I went out for a late night snack while lodging at a nearby hotel. Food was good and atmosphere quite alright. They had all kinds of stuff on the menu. Restaurant was clean and the folks serving us were super nice. If you need anything just press the button. It’s the Korean way. We look forward to being back.”
“Freshly prepared doing lunch might have a slight wait but worth it. The ? area for 1 or 4 friends that want to eat inside. Parking is free plus you can call in your order or take out. ”
“I was in the neighborhood and accidentally discover Jidaiya. Being the first time dining there, I was pleasantly surprised. We had the Tonkotsu shio ramen and the broth flavor was intense and rich, just the way I like it. Also had generous portion of topping and veggies. I especially love the sheets of seaweed and spoonful of toasted sesame that added the crunch, flavor and texture to the ramen. The only minor imperfection were the thinly sliced chashu. Sadly they were not my favorite as it's slight on the lean, tougher side. Please improve on the chashu, other than that, it's an awesome bowl of ramen! The noodles were cooked el dente. I'm a ramen snob and this place is pretty legit! We also order a side of takoyaki. These were one of the largest takoyaki, with a nice outer crunch and soft, gooey filling with plenty of octopus. If you're very hungry, they offer a combo with the order of ramen. The combo are very fair priced and lot of selection to choose from. Friendly service, proactive about asking if we needed 2 smaller bowls as we were sharing a bowl of ramen. The ambience is dated but feels homey like a true mom and pop shop. Though the dated feel didn't bother me much since the food is pretty good. I mean, come on, where can you find a bowl of decent ramen that still cost under $15!! Talk about value and good food. Regarding napkins, there were boxes of tissues. Which I thought it was a nice gesture as it's soft. With the hot bowl of soup, I appreciate the little touch of soft tissues. It's an odd thing, but it was thoughtful. I highly suggest this place whenever you're in the neighborhood. It's hard to be a small business especially in this economy. Let's support them and keep them going. Thanks for having us. Food's is delicious! I know we'll be back.”
“I stopped by this evening with my sister in law after a Dr. Appt down the street when putting gas I could smell the cooking. I ordered 3 tacos and champurado basic of asada my sister n law ordered 2 de tripas and 1 lengua and a large jaimica. Wow the food was really really delicious like it was made from your home kitchen very tasteful. The service was very fast and they were polite and helpful. I am definitely coming back even though I'm about 30 min away it's worth it. They are located on Redondo and Vermount Gardena.”
“This place used to be called Bonellos, and it was great! Now it's different. The smell is different and the taste is different. For a while it was the same as Bonellos, eventually it was gonna change. Now it's no better than a pizza chain. I won't be going back, so disappointed. Not recommended.”
“Nice hidden little place to have a delicious range of beers . Excellent service by the staff, very friendly. Love the Hazy IPA, the Hefeweizen, and the new favorite: Methuselah Imperial Stout Vanilla !! I'm a new regular”
“Staff were very knowledgeable about their products super friendly. Asked questions to see what I needed. Clean right in the neighborhood health is wealth glad to know they are close. Very reasonable prices. A must visit!”
“I tried this place and to my surprise it was good lol. The service was good they sure I had everything I needed while eating. It's a good environment nothing to fancy but nothing that would detour you from going back. I'll be back soon lol”

“The woman who attended me was amazing!! I really loved the strawberry milk and the pork belly was very delicious. I was just a little disappointed in the egg since it was warm on the outside but really cold in the inside which made me lose my appetite. The noodles also tasted too much like eggs in which I don’t really enjoy. The soup was really good though and again the pork belly tastes amazing!!”

“Parking is really easy even on weekends. The restaurant is spacious and the staff is friendly. The menu has lots of different food options. This place is great to hang out with friends and family to catch up or meet up. Our party had a baby, they have high chairs and staff were very accommodating, we did not feel like a nuisance while dining here. When the baby was rowdy and there was a lobby area just a short walk away to calm the baby down with various Japanese decor.”
“Excellent yakatori in a friendly neighborhood setting with welcoming staff. We had the chicken balls, liver, skin, cartilage, wagyu beef, peppers, sausage and potato - all perfectly grilled. Looking forward to coming back!”
“This was an excellent find for some fantastic wings. They are something special. Only thing is… I crave and cannot live without extra extra spicy hot wing sauce and they had not one recipe of Buffalo sauce!!! NOT ONE. So… instead on cancelling my order I shimmied over to Wing Stop and ordered a couple sides of atomic sauce and what a combo. Bomb chickens crispy chicken wings paired with the atomic sauce was so perfect. I had the white rice and cabbage. The cabbage which is like an Asian inspired Cole slaw was bomb too. The crispiness of BOMB Chickens Crispy wings that are delicious through and through dipped into the atomic sauce were a marriage made in heaven!!! Bomb chicken if you’re reading this MAKE SOME SPICY BUFALO SAUCE IN A MILD AND HOT OPTION WITHOUT ANY SWEETNESS! It’s illegal to sell fried wings without HOT SAUCE. Wth”
“Orange chicken tasted different from what I expected but the chowmein and rice were ??? the atmosphere is nice not dirty with the plants next to the window seats their service was good ?”
“Totally love Three Spice! I had my usual Drunken Noodle (mild) with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the yellow curry with chicken, served with steamed rice. We both enjoyed our food so much, that we didn't take pics. When the thought hit me I was rubbing my belly. If you haven't tried Three Spice, please do!”
“Went there today just before closing. Purchased oxtails with candied yams & rice and gravy. Excellent tasting, the gravy was delicious oxtails were falling off the bones and the candied yams were very good also. Did not really like the corn bread dressing. The hostess, Star was very friendly and welcoming. I'm from the Chi and recommend it highly. Price was right also.Looking for good food check Matthews at 2222 W. Rosecran out. They also have delivery. Thanks Star, MickeyParking: Many”
“Food was the best I've had in a long time. Service was very good staff was attentive. Place was nice and clean. Music was I little loud for me. I would recommend the fry chicken. With beans and rice and the cabbage salad.”
“I recommend the golden prime beef noodle soup (金汤肥牛面) with flat noodles (noodles and broth were my favourite part of the dish). We also had the lamb skewers - the quality of meat was good, but it had a bit too much spice on them.Lastly, the service was great!”
“Very reasonable pricing on all the dishes. This is Japanese Izakaya or tappas restaurant. Plenty of parking spaces right next to the restaurant and the hotel.Kanpai!”
“I absolutely love their chicken, it's my favorite dish to order here. Rosa is so nice and gives excellent customer service. She checks on us and brings whatever we need with a smile. My Dad said his Camarones a lá Diablá was delicious but my roasted chicken was super delicious. Their homemade tortillas are fantastic. The salsa & sauces are the best homemade salsas I've had at a restaurant. I feel like I'm at my Abuela's house for dinner. I am a very picky Mexican eater and drive from the Marina to come here. The dining room has very comfortable booths and they are always clean when we come. Will be back very soon.”
“Best to go there after fasting for several days...........even better deal for those on Medicare!! Recommend going with the Tonkotsu bone broth and pork belly/shoulder slices plus an ice cold mega mug of Sapporo........always outstanding service by Riley, Kenda and Cody.”
“I drive by this place all the time as I only live a few blocks away. I was craving Indian food so I decided to give this spot a try and the fact that they sell pizza drove my curiosity even further. I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala pizza which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend that! I also ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, rice, and samosas for me and my family to share. The butter chicken was my 2nd favorite item I ordered. So delicious and they give you a good portion of chicken in it. I even put some of the sauce on my pizza to make it taste even better. The chicken Tikka masala that I ordered in the side tasted really good too but it was light on the chicken which was disappointing. Everything was pretty good, except the samosas. They weren't bad I just felt they were a bit on the bland side, the sauce they gave me on the side helped it out. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Indian food!”
“I have been very disappointed with food and service since covid.A friend mentioned a place down the streetFrom work.Gave it a try. Wow ! FantasticI never thought food could taste so good!”
“I went in for breakfast and got a breakfast burrito that had Polish sausage and surprisingly it was a lot better than a place called Astro burger, and the service was really good. But the atmosphere. Seems a little outdated, but this is an industrial area. So it's to be expected not to invest that much. Money back into a place that's not doing as good as it should”
“Wow. I stop here we need Korean BBQ That’s why. We hereKorean BBQ. It good restaurant.Food is very good I love Korean BBQI go everywhere. Here is top 5 for me”
“Greeted with great customer service, served delicious food at a very reasonable price, they have a salsa bar, plus free refills in aguas frescas, and a variety of different Mexican dishes! You won’t be disappointed! Yum ?”

“Super friendly service! After 20 years since my first time, they STILL have $1 salad. Nothing has changed. I love that about this place. It's like a little family. It's very hard for me to pick pasta since i am not familiar with the names, but every time i pick something (always different), it comes out good. Would always come back to this. Plus, there is an ARMY cashier here. IYKYK. ?”

“Not bad! A little rough around the edges but for the most part never had any issues and get hot food. Only issue is their soda machine isn’t a real freestyle soda. It’s never any real options and I wish we could figure out what drinks they actually have ”
“Well Jack and the crack is always a good place to stop the people of very nice at this location. I enjoy the food but it's not for me all the time. But it's great for every once in a while especially backpose items. Sorry, no ”
“Good stuff and the price is just right. One of the last (if not THE last) fast food place that still knows its place in the food chain and acts accordingly. Doesn't charge an outrageous price, doesn't make you use an app or kiosk, and gets the food right every time. Please keep it up!”

“The cleanest broth I had ever tasted in my life. Typical Korean restaurant that serves different kinds of soups. Great service, food was out quickly and the staff was attentive. Everything was delicious.Parking: Lots of parking in non peak hours.”

“A good place for a Ramen Date, the food is usually spot on and the atmosphere is great. This place is great for small groups of four. Wait time is thirty minutes tops.”
“Best place for traditional mochi and wagashi. Everything is handmade and so beautiful! I especially like the sakura mochi they make. I think the rice they use is top quality.”
“An interesting cafe location inside a bowling alley, but it gives you that homey island life like you would find in Hawaii. We ordered a bunch of dishes to try and test out the authenticity and I must say they are all legit. Their Misoyaki Butterfish has a nice texture, a bit of sweetness and flavor from Miso and a buttery taste. The Lau Lau (steamed pork wrapped inside Taro leaves) and Kim Chi fried rice with Portuguese sausages are savory and super flavorful to each bite. The Saimin (Hawaiian soft wheat egg noodles with char siu) is exactly how it should taste just like in Hawaii. We got a Loco Moco plate to go and it did not disappoint because the gravy has a nice texture and flavor to it. We will definitely be back in the near future to try other dishes.”
“The dining experience at this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere set the stage for a delightful evening. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that left me craving more. Additionally, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food and service.”
“Finally tried this spot out a few months back and it's now a 3-4 visits/month kinda place for us. Food is fresh, hot, not greasy, and not over salted. Love their fresh corn tortillas, portions are solid, salsas are on point, and service is friendly and efficient!”
“Although I didn't directly purchase cakes from the bakery, my friend brought some slices over to a party, and I FELL IN LOVE.Dude, that chestnut cake is out of this world...seriously. it's the perfect amount of sweetness, nuttiness, and balance of soft and bouncy texture. I also had a taro slice which was also just so yummy. The cream that they use is light and not greasy tasting at all. I can't wait to go back so I can purchase an entire cake for my asian parents who would totally love this cake.”
“For the ultimate Korean-Chinese dining experience in South Bay, look no further. Dive into authentic Jja Jang Myeon and Jjam Ppong at this must-visit establishment. Whether you're new to Korean cuisine or a seasoned foodie, it's the perfect starting point. Don't miss out on trying the Gan Jja Jang--it's a rare find with its smoky wok flavor, generous portions of diced onions and squash, and a less oily consistency compared to traditional Jja Jang Myeon. Highly recommended!”
“Came today Feb 20th around12:30. The lady that takes your order, is very pleasant and patient. She also explains the menu. I had to tip her. I love good service with a smile. NOW TO THE FOOD. THE REGULAR SHRIMP AND PARMESAN FRIES ARE BOMB. I DON'T EVEN EAT FRENCH FRIES ? LIKE THAT ANYMORE BUT THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS, I ATE ALMOST ALL OF THEM. I ALSO ORDERED THE FLAMANGO HABANERO WINGS. HAVEN'T TRIED THOSE YET. BLACK OWNED BUSINESS, I ❤️❤️ IT. I'M GOING TO BRING SOME FRIENDS NEXT TIME. BEST OF LUCK WITH UR BUSINESS. KEEP UP THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THANKS FOR A GREAT LUNCH”
“I visited this place for the first time. Wow, they really know coffee. I had a chai latte, it was prepared perfectly and served at the right temperature. My sister had a flaky custard pastry that was buttery, flaky, with a glazed sugar coating. It was delicious.Parking: Located in shopping mall”
“The staff is so nice, welcoming you and talking about how much love they put into preparing their food. We had the bento box which was tasty but the chili was the real prize winner here. Definitely coming back for more!”
“Hey, just wanted to give a shout out and a recommendation for all of you folks out there. For Easter Sunday I ordered the family pack, which came with three meats two sides, came with a full rack of ribs, a bunch of huge, hot links, and an ample portion of brisket, I got the potato salad and baked beans. The baked beans had brisket in the beans very flavorful. This was a great value was enough to feed six people with leftovers so you may want to check this out, great party pack!. As always, everything fresh, well presented and tasty do yourself a favor.”
“Found this place by accident! We went to another place for Korean bbq but the menu didn't look great so we did a quick google search and found this hidden gem! The service was great and everything came out do quickly! I got the soup & my partner got the galbi that came with a small soybean soup. Everything was super flavorful and I think we both agreed that we must visit this place again of we're craving a comforting meal.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“I was in the area and was hungry to have a bite...saw this place while driving and decided to try the drive thru...it was all ramen and can't eat while driving and then finally found that they sell gyoza and karaage...i decided to order one of each...not at all disappointed for a drive thru...wow the karaage was moist juicy and most of all crunchy...and the fried gyoza was not dry and tasty as well...the service was also good....definitely will be visiting the place again if and when in the area...Thks for an awesome bite...”
“Awesome service food is awesome need I say more while I can but you have to go try it for yourself to enjoy what my wife and I have be blessed whoever reads this message enjoy the food the service and the people there are very ”
“The cheeseburger is delicious, you can choose raw onions or grilled onions, and there is also a hidden menu lettuce burger, which is healthy and not burdensome! There are cute paper hats available for purchase from the store staff! The service staff are very friendly and the sauces are generous!”
“This isbone of the very few LJS in so-cal, the food is always fresh because it's made to order. This restaurant was recently renovated and I have to say, it's is world's better now.”
“I've been coming here for years, and it hasn't changed one bit. The food is always on point, especially the chilly cheese fries!! The best coffee as well..”
“Hadn't been to this location in a while the young man that served me was nice and pleasant my Fire Island chicken wasn't as hot as it used to be wasn't as tender but I would go back”
“If you like popusas or tacos dorarados, then this is the place the taco dorados is my favorite dish and popusas mixtas. I've being to other places for tacos dorados, and they are not as good as here really and for the popusas as well they have excellent popusas better flavor then other Salvador restaurants the place looks a bit run down, but the food is excellent, do not judge a place by the look, you are going to love the food here really.”
“Ambiance: Typical restaurant vibes, I usually opt for the drive thru, but the inside does have a lot of seating both inside and out.Service: Though I'm usually in the drive thru, there is always a wait. I've never been able to get in and out like most places. But the food is always hot.Food: I first tried chilaquiles here, and I've been in love with them ever since. The red sauce is my favorite. The plate is always heavy, and I'm always full after I've had them. It's not spicy but rich with flavor. I always ask for just one egg since I'm not a big fan, but they almost never listen.”
“I go here often I had a cheeseburger and onion rings for lunch today and was some of best I've ever had. Also their taco are just delicious remember to get extra hot sauce. I highly recommend this place.Thanks.”
“I eat here at least once a week and have done that for going on seven years. People say the line is slow but how impatient can you get when its a freshly made meal to order? Might as well make your own lunch or go to the mcdonalds across the street if you cant wait 5 minutes for a meal ??♀️”
“Its good and fresh. Those fries are A1. Crispy and fresh. I wanted to go back and thank the fry man. " Like bro how you know? Just how I like my seasoned fries!!!"”
“Yorgo’s is a staple of South Gardena. No nonsense diner menu, thick fries and expansive menu. It’s a good place to get a cheap burger, chili fries, breakfast, or even some pastrami or gyro. The aesthetic is older, but I appreciate all the pictures of picturesque Greece on the walls.Great that they also have drive thru and a $5.99 combo special! Easy and quick.”
“Unassuming at the outset, but saw a sign for $5 deal and stopped in.Had a couple different options, but we got the mix and match 2 for 5 bucks (chicken Sammie or cheeseburger)Holy smokes we were blown away and are currently sitting on cloud 9 with bellies full. A solid, cheap, classic California joint.”
“In the morning its quiet no crazy people make sure you get strawberry jelly with your hashbrown. order a senior coffee if youre over 55 its cheaper. No you dont need a senior with you in your car.”
“A good place for a Ramen Date, the food is usually spot on and the atmosphere is great. This place is great for small groups of four. Wait time is thirty minutes tops.”
Cheap Eats
“Super friendly service! After 20 years since my first time, they STILL have $1 salad. Nothing has changed. I love that about this place. It's like a little family. It's very hard for me to pick pasta since i am not familiar with the names, but every time i pick something (always different), it comes out good. Would always come back to this. Plus, there is an ARMY cashier here. IYKYK. ?”
“Just ordered lunch, fresh, great portions! Ordered a shrimp burrito ? 1 grilled fish taco, 1 fried fish taco and tacos dorado's. Everything was really great but there was a little too much of the mayo type sauce on the dorados I'll order separately next time. Loved the spicy green salsa.”
“A hidden treasure. If you like eating at tofu, house, this place beats the food in every category. Stir fried spicy pork is the best I have ever had and the spicy cold Gochujiang noodles were outstanding. A little hole in the wall with an older couple tuning out some of the most authentic Korean food in the city. Limited seating but eat in if you can. Fresh is best!”
“They have really good food and compared to other places the prices were not that bad honesty I will come back for more.Parking: Well, there are a lot of free parking spots on the street, so you have nothing to be worried.”
“This is a G-town OG. Been coming here since small kid days. My sister and I would fight over the tamago. I hope this stays open forever. Note, it's cash only and I love that.”
“I had the spinach and mushroom omelet it was very good. What caught my eye is that their menu are the foods I ate in Hawaii. I cannot wait to go back and try a dish or two, or more.”
“I had Basil Thai, and the shrimp were fresh and the vegetables were fresh, but the taste was a little lacking somewhere. However, given the lunch discount, the food is good value for money.”
“Food was superb, fresh and made to order. When I first walked in there was someone's abuelita sitting at the table doing needle point. She spoke and smiled so big and sweet. I felt like home right then. The gentleman and other female worker were both kind and beyond nice. I felt some welcomed. It's clean and has plenty of space to dine in. We ordered to go and it was delicious. 3 bucks for a quality pupusa I'm in.”
“We wanted some street tacos but didn't want to eat out in the rain so we found this place. Yummy! We ordered tacos de chorizo, suadero, buche and asada. Amd menudo. The tacos are delish! Perfect size (small) served with grilled onion and chile. They have the topings in a little salda bar. I was cold so I ordered a coffee which was really good tasted like Mexican coffee. The tortillas they use are soft and fresh. Very affordable ? we came back for breakfast the next dayThey're also very fast at serving your food. Cards are accepted with a very small fee. Marked this a favorite ?”
“Really nice waiter attended us. We came here because loaded cafe had nobody attending guests. It was a cute little typical hispanic place. Restroom is through the kitchen which is pretty unhygienic but whatever. Fresh ingredients and food was flavorful except for the eggs but overall solid. Pupusas were huge but I didn't try them.”
“If you have good taste in katsu then this is the place for you. If you don't then byeeeee. I love this place because it reminds me of this famous spot in Tokyo, called Butagumi. Both of them share this premium flaky crispy batter on the outside which I love. I know most katsu uses a thicker more dense batter but I prefer this. I will DEFINITELY be returning. If I had to describe how the batter is, it almost looks like bonito flakes were fried on it, but that's a good thing with the flakiness. The katsu does take a little bit of time to make as I'm under the impression it's fresh but in my opinion worth the wait. You can always go shopping in Tokyo Central for a little or order a snack at one of the other food places. This location is inside the Tokyo Central and to the right of the entrance. Parking: free lotSeating: indoor table cafeteria styleWifi: noPayment: card or tapVibe: food court diningDress code: casual. But be warned your clothes will smell like fried food after you leave.”
“It's hard to find sweet potato cake. Had to order 2-3 days in advance. Real sweet potatoes used and not super sweet. Highly recommend. The almond cookies and viral potato bread are also good.”
“This is a very generic (but good) boba place with that new style vibe and atmosphere. The selection of teas is limited, however I really liked what I ordered and I feel the price was worth it.”
“It was the first time I came in but I really liked the place, the food was good and they were very friendly and it is very quietParking: Well, it is a square with many food businesses and there are always many people, especially after 6:00 p.m. the parking lot and the street begin to fill up as well.Kid-friendliness: YeahWheelchair accessibility: Yeah”
“Takoyaki with Gindako's unique crispy fried skin. The contents are substantial and delicious.Although it doesn't have the juicy and soft feel of Kansai-style takoyaki, I'm grateful that specialty takoyaki shops are open and I always enjoy it.I pray every day that the number of stores will increase.”
“Excellent dining experience. We went to Lunch to take advantage of the outstanding view of the Driving experience course. server, was attentive without being intrusive. We started our meal sharing fresh oysters and Scallops which were incredibly fresh, briny and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the salad and pork dishes on the menu, which accommodated my gluten allergy. We had a salad with a delicious dressing and it was beautiful, fresh and appetizing. Such a nice weekend lunch with friend in a lovely spot.”
“The cleanest broth I had ever tasted in my life. Typical Korean restaurant that serves different kinds of soups. Great service, food was out quickly and the staff was attentive. Everything was delicious.Parking: Lots of parking in non peak hours.”

“It was delicious. Standard prices for sushi, the fish taste fresh, and the food was delivered timely to the table. The staff were very nice. We also had a group 7, they handled it very wellParking: Anime stuff and boba time next to it”
“The food is interesting considering it's pasta but a bit of a twist to it. Definitely recommend if you're open to trying a Japanese infused pasta. The inside is a nice mellow cute cozy atmosphere.”

Wth”
“I randomly stopped in here to grab some take out. They were only going to be open for another 20 mins. They greeted me with smiles even though they were about to close. While waiting for my take out I noticed just how vibrant the environment was. And it all centered on the two main chefs at the front that night they were very energetic and full of laughs and smiles with the other customers. I will definitely try to come here more if my work schedule lets me.”

“This restaurant has been around for a long time and it's a great place to eat the price point is good as far as fish goes but understand the fish are farm-raised that's why the prices are the way they are.”
“One thing about Uber Eats is you get to discover great places to eat. This restaurant was local and had very good food. I love Calamari and there are a lot of ways to prepare it. Fried is my favorite and this spot didn't disappoint ? here the calamari is mixed with big pieces of shrimp and tomato pasta sauce. I will return to try more on the menu, the smell when you walk in boi!!”

“Orange chicken tasted different from what I expected but the chowmein and rice were ??? the atmosphere is nice not dirty with the plants next to the window seats their service was good ?”

“Nice little neighborhood brewery with a mini parking lot and plenty of street parking. The beertender was a nice guy and gave my husband a couple of splashes to help him decide which beer to choose. Looks like they are set up for some game playing a small stage for live music. Kind of quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Seems like a great place for guys to get together.”

“Amazing place. Very small and intimate. The food is superb. The lotus root stuffed with chicken and the shiso leaves stuffed with chicken are worth a trip. Chicken meatballs are top notch. Chicken liver is also very good. A very nice selection of sake at reasonable prices. They have a 300ml of Kubota Manju Junmai Daijingo for only $55. Service is friendly and professional. Very reasonably priced. Food was $80 for 2 and we ate quite a bit. This is a very small and popular place where groups often linger. Reservations are a must.”
“Tried out the pork buns at their food stand during the 626 Night Market at OC Fairgrounds and fell in love!THE FOOD ELABORATION. - Pork Bao | Fluffy, slightly sweet, steamed bun with flavorful shredded pork and shiitake mushrooms inside. Recommend trying this out. - Melty Bao with Pork | Steamed bun with shredded pork and shiitake mushroom inside. It's then cut in half with cheese slapped on each open side and melted on the grill. Absolutely, mind blowing delicious. All steamed buns should be made like this. Highly recommend... and buy one for me. Please and thank you. THE VIBE EVOCATION. Fair vibes. They have a bright red sign you can't miss. There's a grill next to their stand so you can watch as they melt cheese onto the steamed bun. The staff were friendly and helpful as they navigated me through the menu. THE PARKING AFFAIR.As I mentioned, we tried Nikuman-Ya at the 626 Night Market on the OC Fairgrounds, so parking pertains to that location. Arrive early to get a spot close to the entrance. How early is early? About 15-20 min before the 4PM opening. Parking is $12. THE RETURN QUANDARY. Yes. It's worth the drive, the wait, and the money.”
“Truly excellent yakiniku in the heart of Gardena. Legit A5 wagyu, American wagyu, dinner sets they even have oxtail soup, egg soup, great service, perfect seasoning. It costs a grip but it really is worth it. Authentic Japanese Yakiniku. You need to come here.”
“Me and my family love Hwangs, April is such a great person and host. Food is always fresh and delicious and the quality of the meat is a lot better than ayce places. Portions are good size, April always makes us feel welcomed”
“Decided to come this way for my new coworkers. Most of them had never had chicken Maison. Everyone. And I do mean everyone loved it! It's a drive away from Downey but well worth it! They had EVERYTHING ready for pick up. Service with a smile and always got some good music pumping! Surroundings were cool! I'll be back again...”
“The sushi is fresh and delish! Highly recommend! We had the Giant Roll - amazing!!! The salmon nigiri was fresh and succulent. If you're in Gardena, go here for sushi.”
“About 90% of the food here is great. It's a cool scene inside and the service is pretty solid. However, the gumbo was so bad I can't give 5 stars. Everything else is great. No idea why the gumbo verges on intolerable.”
“The ambiance and servers were so kind and humorous, the food was absolutely bomb too!! Overall amazing experience as it was my first time at a K-BBQ, and I came with my best friend, her mom, and my sister. Loved this place and hope to come back soon!”
“Such a great place to go and eat for comfort Japanese foods! Fukagawa has a big menu with so many items to choose from but I went with the special fish combo with salmon and cold soba. Along with the salmon and cold soba, it came with 4 pieces of Cali roll, a salad, miso soup and bowl of rice. Portion size was decent and they all tasted so good! Service was great and the servers were super nice! We also ordered the recommended mochi dessert. It was good but nothing special. I don't think we would order it again. I would love to come back and try other foods on their menu!”
“It is a good bar, they have live music on the weekends, a pool table, there are three bars, a bar where you can watch sports, play billiards, and there are other games and popcorn, and in the other room, there are bands and another bar, and you can dance outside. They have some tables for those who want to go out say I like it because I can't stand the smell of ?Parking: There is always space”
“I've been going to Pancho's for yearsThey've always been great. Always been cleanFood good.Fresh oilThey don't let ppl hang out around the food placeOmar is greatGod bless his business”
“Don’t Order the potatoes !!! Go for the fries or hash browns. Service was great,And the food was delicious. Came in with a group of 6, and we were served very well. Waited about an hour for a table. While all the food was great, the potatoes were extremely sad, no flavor, seasoning and tasted like just boiled potato. Other than that, everything is great. Bathroom accessible.”
“A small family run izakaya tucked into the far end corner of a strip of restaurants. Easy to overlook if one drives by too quickly. Run by an older couple, it has a very cosy atmosphere with authentic izakaya style tapas. The seabream and kohada was very fresh the day we went, the tuna was prepped well. The sashimi was properly cut and everything was exquisitely prepared by the owner chef.”
“I love Diana's. They have such excellent authentic Mexican food. Fresh and ready to order you can order for a crowd or just order for yourself. I love their chicken tamalese I always buy a dozen when I go there. I also has her fabulous carnitas burritos. Today I had hard shell chicken tacos they were fabulous it's a must try”
“Inside this small shop lies wonderful food!Family recipes and a desire to share fresh, authentic Mexican food and sweet treats have been a gift to the lovers of exceptional flavors. Tortillas? Fresh and made here.Main dishes? We had wonderful Birria de Res and Carne Asada, with flavorful refried beans (not canned, mind you) and Savory Mexican rice. Such excellent food is sure to make this little shop a favorite for you and yours. The owners are dedicated to preserving family recipes and offer everything to make your meal memorable from Jarritos sodas, to fresh Horchata, wonderful main dishes and flavorful desserts. If I sound effusive in my praise, it is because this little comfortable and inviting shop offers quality food that simply blows away larger restaurants or any chain shop I've ever tasted. There is simply none better in my humble opinion. Try them today, you won't regret it!”
“Food was surprisingly good. Prices are reasonable. Tewa it for food was a little long. But other than that. Overall experience was good. Our waiter was nice as well.”
“This place is great, the waiter was very polite and attentive. The food was delicious! We ordered from the daily deal menu and it was affordable also the inside was clean and very nice.”
“They have really good food and compared to other places the prices were not that bad honesty I will come back for more.Parking: Well, there are a lot of free parking spots on the street, so you have nothing to be worried.”
“The place is nice and clean. The workers are very nice!!! The 2 guys that were there today deserve 5 stars! Helped me order and were very welcoming when I said that it was my first time there. Would definitely come back again!! The food was very delicious too!! I had the peta pocket with the chicken kabob with my sides and it was THE BOMB. Couldn't even finish it all in my own. I had to save the rest for a snack later. Idk why I haven't tried this place before.”
“I had the spinach and mushroom omelet it was very good. What caught my eye is that their menu are the foods I ate in Hawaii. I cannot wait to go back and try a dish or two, or more.”
“Found this place on the fly and was glad we ran into it. All around excellent sushi spot! The chefs here love what they do and put the art into the chef's choice. Sit at the bar if you enjoy a personalized sushi experience with sake recommendations and off menu items. We were given extra for being first timers. The quality of the fish is fresh and nicely portioned. Overall, place is clean with good service, music, and background media. Will definitely be coming back!”
“This brewery is so well hidden you'd never know it was there. Thankfully I'm always looking for new breweries to go to and this one I've had circled for a minute. I finally got a chance to go and at first sight the menu wasn't too impressive to my tastes. However, I do enjoy a good Hef and that's what I got. It was hands down one of the best beers I've ever tasted. I enjoy tasting new beers, I hardly ever stick with one beer and have it over and over again. But this Hef, I could picture myself doing that, it was so refreshing. The carbonation was on point and the flavor was outstanding. I also tried the hoppy Pilsner and I'm not a fan of strong hops. I do however enjoy the smell of hops and that beer smelled very hoppy but it didn't taste hoppy. It was magnificent. I really enjoyed my visit here. The taproom was very clean and it was a nice space. The service was outstanding. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgable. I'll definitely be coming back here. .”
“I just love this place. It is my go-to bar. Not too busy, but just enough. I have been coming here for years with my girls, and we love it. If you need a location to go have a good drink and listen to some good R & B music, then look no further. Oh, and they have good bar food, sharable sizes”
“I live in Gardena but I tried FyreBirds for the first time today April 9th 2024. And I didn't realize they have a little patio in the back of their restaurant. Well from the suggestion from the staff I tried a barbecue slider and their fried pickles I was suggested to try it with a barbecue sauce I try to have the barbecue sauce and I bought an extra sauce which was ranch. The slider was a great size She asked if I wanted everything and it comes with like whatever sauce you pick pickles and ranch and coleslaw on it. For one slider it was 4.50 but it was worth it and the fried pickles it's enough to serve four people I believe unless like you want to eat it all yourself but they give enough pickles that you can share with people and it comes with one dipping sauce and it was 5.50. I think that if you haven't tried this place it's on the corner of Crenshaw and Manhattan Beach boulevard in a little plaza tucked away in the corner but it's a great spot especially the patio I believe that you can ask them if you can have maybe a party in the back. Good job you guys It's a great place. Everything tasted fabulous. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“I was disappointed of the amount of vegetable topping on Umani Ramen was a lot less than it used to be. The toppings were drowning in the soup. Next time I might need to order "extra topping".”
“The Kumidashi tofu here was amazing. I don't usually enjoy eating tofu but my wife loves it and we both agreed that this is the best tofu we have ever had. We will definitely be returning for more tofu.”
“Definitely one of my favorite healthy food spots. The location is clean great vibes color is vibrant and the ambience music is great. The food is always great because I like going into eat, but I also order online and deliver because the quality is top notch. There are other similar shops, but this is usually my go to delivery order.Parking: Easy parking in lot and street parking is availableKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“I held a birthday celebration/event at SoCal - Gardena, and I 1000% recommend this place! Aerin was extremely helpful via email, and very detailed. The booking process was so smooth and transparent. The team upon arrival/day of event, were extremely helpful, and considerate! My whole party was impressed with the service and location. I will definitely book a future event here again! Thank you, SoCal Vibes! :)”
“We've been coming here for years. Chinese chicken salad is great for dining in and catering. Teriyaki is solid but to be honest there are places with better quality meat. I love the fact you can get hot dogs, chili, burgers and fries here too. Will always be a staple. Sad when I'm craving it on Sundays when they are closed though.”
“I recommend the golden prime beef noodle soup (金汤肥牛面) with flat noodles (noodles and broth were my favourite part of the dish). We also had the lamb skewers - the quality of meat was good, but it had a bit too much spice on them.Lastly, the service was great!”

“The cheeseburger is delicious, you can choose raw onions or grilled onions, and there is also a hidden menu lettuce burger, which is healthy and not burdensome! There are cute paper hats available for purchase from the store staff! The service staff are very friendly and the sauces are generous!”

“This place it's good. You can take the good quality in the food. I would recommend this Sol de Gardena just know that it's on the pricey side so ask for prices before you order so you don't get any surprises at the time you pay the check.”

“My first time coming here. Big menu with various choices. I have to say I was impressed, with the service and food. Home cooked style with everything, even the desserts and drinks. New favorite ”
“My kiddos and I love the 30-piece nuggets. We also love the grilled chix sandwich on a wheat bun. The thing I like best is their new offerings of the 4oz sauces! I get the 8oz in our local grocery store as well, but it is nice to have that extra sauce easily ready and not in a disposable cup but rather a recyclable ♻️ bottle.”
“Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.”
“Very little to no wait to order, the only wait is for the food to come out, but it makes sense since the food tastes fresh and delicious, the gyro wrap combo is simply amazing, served with the seasoned potatoes, a must for the first time visit. Overall, a great lunch at an amazing value, don’t forget to get a piece of baklava for dessert”
“Usually has great service it was awful this visit. Plantains are still good. The tallarin Verde wasn't that great. It's better at the inka express, Hawaiin gardens!!”
“I've been coming here for years !!!! The service is excellent and the food is amazing. I come here at least one a month or once every other month to treat myself . The sweet spicy wings are to die for. I highly recommend those with the stirfry Mongolian noodles with the strawberry peachy tea. I would give this place 10 stars if I could”
“The tacos are very good. My favorite is the burrito. I like it mainly because the burrito doesn't have rice. Just your meat of choice, beans, cheese, onions, cilantro, and salsa if you like.”
“I don't know why I haven't rated this place sooner. I've been going here for years and i'm not even from the area.Talk about fast service! And the one time they made a pretty decent mistake they corrected it immediately. Funny enough, the surrounding area doesn't really seem like the nicest. And yet this place remains very well kept overall and still feels like a nice place to go eat and hang out or just drive by really quickly if you're in a rush”
“I was surprised to see a big change in this restaurant, food quality, fresh, and tasty. Service was quick, and I couldn't believe how clean , and normally farmer boys have this old building smell, and in this case, have not.”
“My husband and i are changing our eating habits and when we knew about this place was like a great idea for us, whenever we want something quick and healthy we just think about simply salads. I love their downtown Cobb with grilled chicken salad.”
