Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind.The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.“

The medium was the perfect amount of spicy and was even a little sweet. Al Hamra has most of the classic favorites. Lots of the good stuff like falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and more. The platters are big and are a lot of food for an okay price. A pretty small place but they have a lot on the menu, and it's better than it looks to be honest. It's not pretty from the outside but it's clean inside. There's the counter to order at, and there's just a few tables. Most people call in orders and get it to go. We were already there so we ate there. It's about $14 for the platters. These are big and come with lots of stuff. I got the Falafel Plate. This comes with hummus, rice, and salad. Good falafel. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ones like these are best. Then I used the pitas to make sandwiches out of these. Convenient place after getting off the shuttle a few blocks from here. It's pretty quick and simple. There's great choices like the falafel for vegans and vegetarians.“

Asked him for a cup of water. He's so funny. He asked, On the rocks? I said yeah with ice rocks lols. He said ok and handed me my water and said here's your cocktail. He made me laugh. I've ate here before many years ago. Like 8-9 years ago. Glad he's still here but I also asked him how come he's not retired yet. Hehe He said he loves it here. He'd be so bored at home. Haha I highly recommend here with great low prices that best everyone else's prices here. During the time when gas is high of $7 and may even go up to $10 with this biden government administration, food prices here are very helpful. It was good, tasted like a lot of sage in it. Generous portions. We usually have enough leftover for another meal. A friend ordered a salad and it was big. She ate about a quarter of it for lunch. The chicken Tikka masala that I ordered in the side tasted really good too but it was light on the chicken which was disappointing. Everything was pretty good, except the samosas.
